Useless never works
Disappointed with Palace of Versailles Tour
Horrible experience with this tour. You wait over 2 hours for fireworks. Very crowded and limited seating. Customer service is horrible on this app. You will be redirected to WhatsApp and an AI response. Don’t bother downloading the app or booking with this company.
Love a good tour bus ride!!!
We absolutely loved our TOOTBUS experience! The audio via app was a bit confusing, there were long silent pauses that made us think we were missing info, wasn’t until we tried the audio on the bus that we realized it was filled with music. Also the audio didn’t always match exactly up with the monument or building being described but for the lovely ride in the open air top and the views totally worth it!
Not great
The audios for each stop never came on. The bus drivers mentioned a few things but he was hard to hear.

The bus's travel information is missing. Great London sightseeing tours, but it would be helpful regarding the application to know how long until the bus arrives when we're waiting at the bus stop.

Excellent value. Really convenient, frequent services. Friendly drivers. Informative commentary. Overall we were really happy with our experience of Tootbus in Paris.
Good tour, bad app.
We enjoyed the tour, it sets you up for seeing the best areas in a short space of time. However, the app is ready poor. When we tried to use it, it was not even showing the bus routes or stop locations on the map, no live bus data as advertised, so it made it quite hard to find where to catch the buses, see when the next one would arrive etc.

Great driver and very helpful on our tour
Horrible
My sister in law used TOOTBUS in Paris and highly recommended it. I bought five passes for my girls and I for three days. We were going to use it to hop on and off for the different sites to see all over London. There must be more busses in Paris because it was horrible in London. We waited 25 minutes for our first bus. Then we rode for about 30 minutes and got off to see something being told another bus would come around in 15 mins. We waited for almost 40 and then gave up and took the subway. We tried a few other times the next day to get on one. Always being told it would be to the stop in just a few minutes. Each time after 20-25 minutes we gave up and just walked or got on a subway. It was the biggest waste of money I have ever spent on a trip.
Great way to see the sites with limited time
We only had 1 day to see the major sires in London and the TOOTBUS was the way yo go! Yes it was cold at night but we got amazing pictures! We got off at probably 5 stops and it was only late (very late) at 1 trying to get back on. Would use again to sightsee around another city!
Not worth it
App audio was not numbered or in order of stops. Bus audio was grainy and muffled.

Waiting Waiting
Bei der grünen Linie weiß man nicht woran man ist. Hat im Gegensatz zur gelben Linie keine Live-Informationen. Im Gegenteil wird sogar angezeigt Service stoppen, obwohl die Busse noch mindestens bis 19h laufen. Und so wartet man halt ne 1/2Stunde, obwohl man vom Laufen genug hat. Echt schlecht die App und der Service ohne Zeiten UND ohne Live View. Der Rest ist top!
Don’t do it absolutely do not do it
Unless you like being stranded and told they won’t be back for three hours, then you go to the bus stop at the appropriate time and you have to wait more than an hour for a bus people are rude. Don’t do it.
Geolocated audio commentary doesn't work
Set up my phone to be able to hear the live stream of the audio as we pass places, but it was completely silent. The cheap plug-in headphones they have work, but nowhere near as comfortable as headphones connected to Bluetooth
Spot on
I’ve done several hop on hop off buses around the world. I have mixed reviews about the accuracy of their apps ead the information shared while on board. I was very impressed with the app and the information on this particular system. I would highly recommend it for an educational experience to learn the city. The app is most impressive in tracking where the buses are and when they will arrive at the next stop.
Very disappointed
On the blue route at 13:45 today. Looks like three buses in route, yet only 2 are moving and both are within 2 stops of each other. We are looking at over an hr wait at this point. Won’t do this again…
Clunky- Ticket info not stored if app closes
I liked a lot about this app though it was frustrating to have to load my ticket info and reconnect to WiFi every time the app was closed. Using the app was not as seamless as using the map and earbuds offered upon entry. You can follow along with the content, though have to start each segment based on the bus location, which was workable if you follow along on the map.
Leaves a lot to be desired.
Downloaded the app for a tour of Brussels and had nothing but problems. Would not load my tickets. On the bus the audio guides were hit and miss.
Brussels tour bus
Bus drivers are great. Beware of stop number 3 as this is outside the European Parliament- there was a demonstration and the tootbus stopped the service - the regular buses did not. On hindsight use the regular bus/ underground/tram to get around and save some money!
Worth it- Hands down
On/off was easy and great commentary on the bus explaining the sites and architecture. We were able to see so much more than if we did not take the bus!
Too far from hotel
We booked the 3 day hop on tour. The only stop in our area was a very far walk. Defeated the purpose of the hop on We had planned to use it as our transportation for those days but was unable to. Complete waste of money.

Take A Hike
Save your money. Unless you are visiting with someone in your group with mobility issues, you’ll probably save 50% by walking to the key sights in each area and then taking a group taxi to the next main area. Stop 8&9 are closed and they don’t tell you that in advance. Those 2 stops are the Arc de Triumph and the Eiffel tower. The new temporary stop is a mile from each site. Check their route out before you buy.
Just started using it and already got one glitch
Will provide an update once we’ve done the tour, but distinctly average at the moment. But haven’t bought the tickets for the app but the tour!
Day saved
After our first stop I realized I had lost my tickets. The representative there recognized us and tried to get us reticketed. He even rode the bus with us as he got things straightened out. His name is Junaid Palwavy and deserves an award. He saved our day
Doesn’t work with older iPhone
App not compatible with iPhone 11. Worked fine on my friends neeet iPhone though not a great app

Nous étions 4 personnes et nous avons trouvé dommage que les commentaires audio n’étaient en adéquation avec le visuel. Dommage !
Disappointed
Ride started off on a good note. Using the app helped find out first stop. Enjoyed the sights from the top level. Didn’t make it through the whole yellow bus line but was on the bus 90 minutes longer than the expect full tour. No assistance at any of the stops. Struggled to find where to catch the cruise as well. The host on the cruise was great. Ended up having to take the tube to many of our destinations because the stops were move and no directions to get to the new stops. 45 minutes or more to wait for a bus. Also the drivers were back tracking past attractions we had already seen to get to new destinations. Overall a huge disappointment especially for the cost.
Seeing Bristol
The two day pass worked really well. The commentary was informative and the drivers very helpful and engaging. The app itself was a bit clunky, especially on the find my bus section which at one stage had my bus two stops away as it came around the corner. Overall the bus was good value.
Awesome experience. Best way to see Paris
The bus is conveniently located by the Eiffel Tower. I was in Paris for 1 week. I wouldn’t have seen half of the city if not for the Toot Bus.
Shot maps, bad audio
Map portion works fine. However some landmarks… like Buckingham palace is in wrong location in app. the audio guides are not reliable. Would recommend just using the onboard 3.5mm headphone jacks. Sometimes does not play anything, and when it does it always says the next stop is “next stop”. Finally the app just goes to white screen quite often requiring you to force restart the app.
App froze after ticket purchase
I had a green screen with falling confetti congratulating me on my purchase. I had to shut off and restart my phone to make that screen disappear. I raised this review to 4 stars after riding the bus. The drivers were awesome and it was a great route through Paris.
In London app not accurate
We’re in London..app not working.. was at stop 2 for the yellow line for over an hour.. every other city seeing buses came by regularly. Not this one.
Tootbus review visited London 28 July 2023
The day was going well until we decided to take the ship fro the Tower of London. We waited over a hour in the queue only to be told the cruise had been cancelled and the next trip will be in 45 minutes. It was now 5:15 pm . There were 4 people two of whom are not very mobile. We fished to the bus stop to catch the yellow route bus .we were told the green route bus had finished for the day , we missed going on the blue route altogether as we wasted 2 hour due to the cruise cancellation. At the end of the yellow route we had to get the tube to to get back to King’s Cross station where we had parked our car
Julian is a lifesaver
My wife left her phone on the bus and we didn’t realize it until the bus had pulled away. We walked over to a wonderful young man named Julian in a Tootbus uniform and asked for his help in retrieving the phone. He immediately called around on the radio and on his phone to try to locate the cell phone. We weren’t very confident that we’d get it back. Through Julian’s diligence, he was able to track it down and get the phone back to us while still doing his job selling tickets. What an amazing young man! Thank you Julian! You saved the day, my friend.

Locations are very difficult to find and I was not told how to find them number one and number 2 it takes way too long in between - waste of money

Ona fait ce même genre de bus dans plusieurs villes dans le monde. Ils sont majoritairement pareils, avec 3 ou 4 routes des sites populaires. Dans ce cas ci, les arrêts sont mal ou pas indiqués pour les voir de loin. Les Numéros des arrêts ne sont pas les mêmes que ceux de leur carte internet. On peut suivre cependant en temps réel les allé et venu des bus.
Access just stopped
Despite having Vodafone 4 G, the app did not update and I was unable to send a message or see the bus icon on the map.
Awful audio guide!
Unfortunately, writing it here, as wasn’t able to edit my feed back when was contacted by a company via email. Two psychotic and overexcited individuals performed a play!!! I didn’t asked for it at all. I am using audio guides quite a lot and never was so disappointed. I need calm and well structured and informative guide. Which can provide as much as possible information about as many as possible objects during the ride. The history of Paris is very rich and full of exciting historical events and architecture of the city is able to reflect a lot of it. I was hoping The Guide to guide me through the city. To much music and play, very little information. The Ferry ticket only valid till 18:30!!!??? We were not able to get onto it as day was very hot and we were not able to wait for an hour in the queue under the heat. There’s no option what so ever to book a slot in the queue. Of course was excited about it, hence very disappointed not being able to do it. The cruise still was running after 18:30, but we were not allowed on it.

Unfortunately, I did a tour years ago that was so much better. This was so boring and a waste of time. I saw more walking around on my own with maps. I don’t recommend this for anyone wanting a nice quick tour. This was too long and nothing to see.
Excellent moyen de découvrir la ville
Nous avons passé une agréable journée sans nous préoccuper du trajet grâce à cette formule qui permet de monter et de descendre du bus à volonté. Notre erreur a été de vouloir faire un tour complet avec le bus avant de visiter certains monuments et cela nous a pris pratiquement 2 heures.

Disappointing for a so-called « Halloween special »
We booked a kids Halloween special tour. My daughter was the only one dressed-up !! We were hoping for minimum effort from the staff or the decor of the bus, perhaps a sweet or two distributed !….but it was just an ordinary tour bus.
