Canon is the future
They don’t just make wholesome content, they make good quality content. Standards mean something to their teams, it shows!
Not user friendly
This app has issues from day one. It is terrible on trying to search and find any episodes. It’s a shame that it is so poorly designed.
Needs the option to cast onto a tv.
The app is good but it would be way better if screen casting was an option.
Can’t cast using google chrome cast
I love the content. Unfortunately, I can’t cast it to our tv using google chrome cast so my wife and I can watch the shows together
Wonderful resource in so many areas
I just love it… get it, dive in. Let your kids explore the fiction section. Download a book on a road trip. Use it has a help for family Bible reading/study. So worth every penny and more.
Doug Wilson has changed
Mr Wilson seems to avoid the real issues… They blow up my email with spam Pay! Pay! Pay! Then when you pay, Pay more, pay more, pay more! Deleted.
Great content
Lots of great content, love all the canon plus stuff. The reason for 4 stars is the app. My wife and I enjoy listening to books at night as we go to sleep and there is no sleep timer in the app, which makes it unusable for us at night.
Downloaded content
Great content, but it would be nice to have a menu option to take me directly to my downloads.
Great
This app is amazing. I love the content, my whole family loves it.
I enjoyed it when it worked
I had a monthly subscription, all was well. In an attempt to save some money I subscribed to the annual option. That was a month and a half ago, I’ve never been able to use it again. Icons are locked and I’m unable to access material. No one is able to figure out why.
App management
Dear, Grandpa Doug I really enjoy this app and how everything is easy to find through genres and categories. However, when I’m searching for a topic through the search bar I am given a list of options or best matches. If I select one of the options, but I want to go back and look at the others on the suggested list. I have to go back to the home page and retype my topic in the search bar. There is not a “back arrow/button” to the previous page. Please put a “back to previous page” option in the search engine suggestions. -your (virtually) adopted granddaughter
You won’t be disappointed you will be happy.
Some of my crazy, or so I thought, friends recommended I get this and I delved into the world of these amazing humans. Such a huge blessing all the content that you get on this app. You don’t even have to be a Presbyterian to get a lot out of it. The amount of wisdom I have learned I must say was life changing for me. Thanks Doug, Nate, and all you awesome people in Idaho who work so hard to bring this to the world. May all Christendom be blessed by this app.
Great content, average usability
Downloaded content doesn’t play offline. Why do we pay for downloadable content and not get what we pay for??
Profiles or Family Subscriptions!
My wife and I would like to be able to keep track of our libraries separately so we each know where we left off without confusing each other. Otherwise would rate 5 stars. Thanks!
Incredible Content!
We love this app! The only thing I would change is to add a sleep timer. 😅
Great content
The App itself can be glitchy but easy to overlook - tons of great content you’ll never be done learning and listening. Looking forward to Canon App 2.0
Love Canon +
I love Canon plus so much! It is really helpful especially when looking for a Doug Wilson video. I love that they have added Popeye to the kids section!! Canon + is very helpful when you want an audiobook to listen to. Thank you for all of your hard work!
Love it, but offline would make it even better
Really enjoying using the app having access to so much content! Only issue I’ve found is the app not working offline so I can’t listen to downloaded audiobooks on my daily commute, which is when I’d do most of my listening. Keep up the good work!
Sooo many great books.
I’ve read over 70 of the books on Canon+ and I still feel like there is much left to read! They are constantly releasing new content and books. They just added a bunch of the commentaries from RC Sproul which I am excited to get into, and there’s plenty of older stuff I still haven’t read. So much content from a ministry I have been so thankful for, all in one place. The app functions great, I prefer it over audible.
Great for Parents and Amateur Theologians
Thanks for the great theological teaching and the epic kid shows!
New update makes it so the app doesn’t open
Great app and faithful Contant, but the app does not open in the new update. iPhone X S 17.7
Excellent content, but what happened to full screen feature?
Huge fan of Canon+ fantastic content, but I am missing the full screen feature. I think it disappeared with the last update. Please bring it back! Also, I would love to see more content in the AppleTV app, and btw it keeps signing me off, any suggestions? Thanks guys! Keep up the good work!
