Buggy
I want to love this game. Unfortunately, I frequently run into a bug where it will stop everything at the end of a game and nothing I do will get the victory screen to trigger. I’ve tried pausing/unpausing, saving and leaving and going back in, nada. This last time I was playing How to Train Your Dragon and as a last resort, I saved, quit, and exited the app. Upon restarting, the game was gone and I lost a three-star victory. I was very sad because it took me awhile to finally get that one. But otherwise, the game really is a blast when it works correctly.

Truly underrated game. It’s old school, retro, and modern all at the same time. I love the collabs and great machines. I WISH FOR MOREE!!
Wow…
Painful to look at, instant headache. First game (snoopy theme) after tutorial that hurt to look at froze on the final ball launch. Will delete and never return. Holy smokes, this is BAD.
Good but nudging fix needed
Great Ballys/Williams tables and it is fun but why is nudging not gyroscopic?? Seems such an obvious thing to do and one of the other Zen titles has this. Definitely not enough time to move your hand halfway up the iPad to swipe and playing in your phone is too tiny.
Outdated but still decently fun
The physics in this game leave a lot to be desired compared to the pay-to-play version that the same studio developed and are constantly updating. Apple should hold these Apple Arcade apps to a higher standard than just allowing outdated games to be posted.
Keyboard controls
There really should be the option to customize the controls when playing with keyboard
8-Ball Deluxe from Williams coming?
Love all of these tables. Great pinball action and with the added graphics makes this as fun as they were 50 years ago! Still playing! Thanks for all of these wonderful choices of games. Eight-Ball Deluxe would be SWEET!
Bad Delay
Like others have stated, there is a delay between pressing shift and the flippers responding. not always, but sometimes when this happens, the ball becomes glitchy and the appearance of the game seems to intermittently glitch.

Janky Data, forgets scores
The gameplay is fun, but the challenges frequently lose high score data.
It’s ok
It’s ok on my iPad but is absolutely terrible on my Apple TV with a controller. The flippers are not instantaneous. There is too much of a lag. My controller works just fine on other games on the TV.

Offline Error 80% of the Time - Zen Refuses to Fix It
UPDATE 4/5/26 WHAT A JOKE - The game repeatedly throws up a "YOU ARE OFFLINE - You need to go online to access the Event list" error 80% of the time despite being fully connected to the internet with a working Apple Arcade subscription. My account loads fine, my profile shows and II work from home online all day — but somehow I'm "offline." Right. This is a server-side authentication failure on Zen's end, not a network issue, yet the game has the nerve to tell me I'm offline. I've done extensive troubleshooting including manually digging into Epic Online Services session files via Terminal — something no casual gamer should ever have to do just to play a tournament. I've been reporting this to Zen since 2024 and have received nothing but "we'll forward it to the developers." Well over a year later, nothing has changed. Zero care and no fix in sight. I pay for Apple Arcade specifically for this game and its tournaments. Nothing else. If I work from home for hours everyday online and my computer can load my account and my profile in the game — it's not offline. FIX YOUR SERVERS!
Great game one thing it needs
It would be nice to have a leaderboard where you can compare your score to friends through Game Center or Facebook etc.

Can’t compete in events
Events aren’t working for me. If I try to look at the leaderboard, it shows an alert saying “no scores found.” If I play a game to compete in the event, it shows ranking “N/A” after the game.
Excellent Digital Pinball Title!
Zen knows how to to make premium pinball games, a total blast to play. Highly recommended if you enjoy these tables.
DONT PLAY
This is by far the biggest let down to my kid not passing the SAT. The delay is so bad on my brand new m5 MacBook Pro you can see the delay from when I press shift and then getting a response on the screen. I have no idea how this ever passed QA to be put on the market place it’s not even funny. Someone dropped the ball hard on this one. This needs to be address asap!
Very nostalgic
I love this app and has many loved pinball machines I grew up with but there really isn’t that many machines in this app and wish it had at least a few more like no good gophers or gone fishing or Arabian nights, please add more
Needs Better Keyboard Support on iPad
I’m enjoying Zen Pinball overall, but I wanted to flag a major issue for iPad users—specifically those using Apple’s Folio Keyboard. The game doesn’t currently support keyboard input for flipper controls properly. I tried using the left/right shift keys to operate the paddles, but they don’t respond as expected. It’s especially frustrating because other keyboard inputs like zooming with the spacebar work fine, so partial keyboard functionality is clearly there. With a future update to support full keyboard controls—especially for the flippers—this could become an even better experience on iPad. Hoping this gets addressed soon!

The Medieval pinball game reminds me of the old Black Knight pinball game of the 80’s. I have not yet tried a tournament but o am very much enjoying the single-player games. No annoying ads when playing through Apple Arcade, either!
Games unplayable
I’ve played for a while, and generally enjoy it. For the last month or so all of the events show zero score. The main draw of this game for me is the events. I’ve reached out to support, but haven’t gotten any resolution other than thanks for submitting a complaint.
Great on iPad and iOS, unplayable on macOS
I've been having a great time with this on my iPad. However, the issue with input lag on the flippers on macOS is still a problem. To credit their support, they quickly responded that it was a known issue and that they had no workaround. I'd love to see them fix that, and also really drive up the graphics on macOS systems given how much more powerful the M1 pro / max graphics are compared to iPads.
Great game, when it works
Really fun game, except it constantly bugs out. I played through the tutorial multiple times on multiple days. My progress never saves between opening and closing the game. The bumpers often freeze and become uncontrollable.
Unplayably choppy on iOS 26
Zen Pinball Party is a great game for a quick diversion in the middle of your day, but after updating to iOS 26, it is unplayably slow and choppy, even on my iPhone 16. Pinball is a game of timing, so it’s now useless as a source of fun.
Awesome Pinball boards
I always loved to play space cadet pinball, but this pinball games has cooler and more awesome boards. I just wish I could change the key binds from left shift and right shift to z and /. Other than that, there is nothing negative I can say about this game. Who ever developed this game gets an A+ in my book!
Top 1% in tournament and no rewards?
i just checked my results from the previous season and here's what it said "TOURNAMENT HAS ENDED! You have finished Top 1% in TIME CHALLENGE Thanks for participating! Better luck next time! (YAY)" The YAY was the button to continue... 🤷♂️ no trophy icon unlocked or anything? Better luck next time? 🤣🤦♂️
Really enjoy it. But have a few gripes and suggestions
Overall, one of the best games included with the Apple Arcade subscription. Tables are simple enough for those who just wanna hit the ball and hear the dings but also advanced enough that if you actually want a challenge, each table comes with its own unique variety of them. My biggest gripe is with the controls. More specifically the controls for nudging the table. If I’m holding my phone in the way required to tap both thumbs on the lower part of the screen, how am I supposed to be able to quickly swipe the top half and then bring my thumbs back down quick enough to hit the paddles? My suggestion is a motion control option where you can nudge the table by moving your phone in a specific direction.
Flipper Lag
There’s a delay between when I press the flipper and when it actually activates. Annoying. Hard to play like this.
NEEDS CAMERA ANGLE 4p FOR IPHONE!!
I am a HUGE pinball fan. Over time, I’ve purchased about 35 - 45 Zen Pinball Tables. I used to play mostly on my iPad. But now I play mostly on my iPhone. I still have 3 Zen’s Aliens vs. Pinball tables. Those were PERFECT for iPhone because they have a Camera Angle 4p. Angle 4p provides a CLOSE UP FLYING angle of the table as it DYNAMICALLY follows the ball around the table!!! It’s AWESOME because you get to see the table CLOSE UP as it follows the ball. It’s very IMMERSIVE and SATISFYING!! It makes the experience on iPhone absolutely WONDERFUL!! PLEASE, PLEASE provide this angle 4p on ALL Zen Pinball tables!!!! I joined APPLE ARCADE mainly for Zen Pinball Party to see if you have ANGLE 4p, but sadly you don’t. THE QUESTION IS WHY NOT???? I also like that the Aliens Pinball tables seem more challenging. Keep making the tables challenging and not so easy. I used to like that The Pinball Arcade tables were much harder because I don’t want the games to go on forever. I want more realistic physics. Zen used to be TOO EASY. But anyway, I will likely leave Zen Pinball Party if you don’t ADD IN CAMERA ANGLE 4p. It makes the experience on IPHONE so much better.

I've only played two games but I think it's great.
This game is unplayable
The latency is extremely high which makes this game useless and unplayable. From the time I press a shift key (flipper control) until the flipper moves on the screen, the ball is well past. You have to press the button when the ball is 3-5 ball diameters away from the flipper. What a a waste of a game!
Lot of fun… and of crashes
Really good game. A lot of fun playing all of those pinballs, even on the small screen of my iPhone 11 … but the app crashes a lot 😢
Runs like crap on the MacBook Air M1
I recently got a brand new MacBook Air M1 and this was one of the first games I've downloaded as I wanted to have it on my iPad Pro M1 as well as my Mac. Well what a disappointment. It runs all jerky on my Mac but flawless on my iPad. Why? It's the exact same processor (RAM, core, gpus, everything). The OS platform is the only difference. I've contacted them regarding this. Took them long enough to respond and I see still no improvement even after the recent update of their app. There's no way I'm the only Mac M1 user having this problem. My Mac's OS is up to date and it's the only app I'm having an issue with on it. Its really disappointing. Fix this and you get a 5 star. In the meantime it stays at 2.
Great therapy tool!
For 3 weeks I sat every morning in the lav relentlessly pursuing getting in top20% on all the challenges until I couldn’t feel my feet. I finally made low teens and was ecstatic. Been 2-3 days now into next season challenges and no rewards from last. I don’t know who I’m more disappointed with. Easier you than me… P.S. I believe flippers power drop when in multiball and in some challenges. Unless gravity suddenly changes in game.

Ruined by Pub Champion
Pub Champion is an absolute garbage table and ruins the whole experience. I can’t max stars because there are 10 point shots and no actual ball save while the score to get 3 stars is 110,000,000. I played arguably a better round than I’ve played on all the other tables I’ve maxed and got 36 million. Absolutely bonkers. Please change the scores for stars on that table and I will change this to 5 stars.
More tables needed
This would be super 5 stars if it had more selection. Please please add Dr Who Table it would play amazing on this version. Other then that the physics are spot on really. Keep up the awesome job !!
Not optimized for iPhone X and above.
Games optimized for iPhone 10 and up(phones without a home button) are optimized to disable random swipes on the multitasking bar at the bottom of the screen. This game is not optimized, very frustrating.
