I’m all for security, but this goes a step to far. A lot of times we can’t make a transaction because of all the steps needed. Never have that problem with American Cards in Europe. But this card always gives me a headache. I’m so over it!

Nachdem eine Mitarbeiterin der Bank mir die App funktionierend installiert hat, nutze ich diese Bezahlart gerne. Das funktioniert auch für Menschen, die sich grundsätzlich nicht ganz leicht tun….
Still unusable ― the “invisible app window” bug has not been fixed
Update to my bug report submitted on May 5, 2025: app version 4.1.1 still didn’t fix the “invisible app window“ bug. When the app is started ― either manually or by the online banking app ― only the phone’s wallpaper and app icons are visible; there is no app window displayed, or it is completely translucent. The app is active and is displayed in the overview of running apps, but bringing it to the foreground will only display the background wallpaper and app icons again. Any attempt to bring the app to the foreground more that twice will result in the app crashing. In its current state, the SecureGo Plus app is unusable, I have to resort to using a TAN generator for authorization of transactions. iPhone 14 Pro Max; iOS 17.7.2; SecureGo Plus 4.1.1

The app is simple enough - it´s a tycial 2FA app. the setup however - with the need to request a setup key, autorisation key etc is so complicated . Product manager should look at US Banking apps - how they do it , simple and secure … user mobil phone # , email, debit card info ( last 4 of SS) … enough !!!!

Online Zahlungen brechen immer ab
Ich kann meine Karte nicht für online Zahlungen nutzen. Ich konnte die Karte noch nicht einmal in irgendeiner online Anwendung erfolgreich benutzen. Entweder gibt mir die App einen Auftrag, den ich annehme, aber der Zahlungsvorgang bricht trotzdem ab, oder ich bekomme nicht einmal einen Auftrag. Die Daten tippe ich entweder manuell direkt von der Karte ein oder scanne die Karte ein. Auf jeglichen Anwendungen bekomme ich höchstens nur eine Fehlermeldung die mir sagt die Zahlung ist abgebrochen und ich solle es noch einmal versuchen oder mich an die Bank wenden. Ich habe mich bereits an die Bank gewendet, aber mir wurde nur gesagt, dass es sich hierbei um einen technischen Fehler handelt da meine Karte bereits für den online Handel freigegeben ist und korrekt mit der App verknüpft ist. Ich benutze die App Version 4.1.1 auf einem iPhone 16 mit der iOS Version 18.5. Beides ist meines Wissens nach, zum heutigen Datum auf dem neuesten Stand.
Ablehnen Button
Was ich bemängeln muss, ist der Button „Ablehnen“ - ich hab schon so viele Aufträge versehentlich „Abgelehnt“ weil ich auf dem Falschen Button gekommen bin, wenn der Bildschirm wechselt. Sonst schöne App.

Unbrauchbar
App läuft zwar unter iPadOS 15.1, aber nicht unter iOS 15.1.1. Schon der erste Bildschirm wird verzerrt dargestellt und die Schaltfläche „Einrichten“ bleibt unerreichbar. Mehrfache Neuinstallation nach komplettem Reset hilft auch nicht.
Bitte erst denken, dann programmieren. Nächstes mal!
Die Vorgängerversion sagt mir, ich müsse jetzt diese App verwenden. Klar. Also, installieren, und dann das Angebot annehmen, die Konten aus der alten App zu übernehmen. Dazu öffnet sich dann die alte App und sagt mir, daß sie nicht mehr funktioniert, und ich stattdessen diese hier verwenden muß. Klaro??!!?? Wenn das noch nicht genug „Erst programmieren, dann denken“ wäre: Wohl oder übel, so denke ich mir, muß ich mir dann halt einen neuen Aktivierungsschlüssel geben lassen. Anders als bei der alten App kann man hier allerdings keine Kontendaten eingeben, sondern wird zu diesem Zweck an die Webseite der Bank weitergeleitet. Die dann zur Sicherheit noch eine TAN-Abfrage eingebaut hat: Wir haben Ihnen eine TAN geschickt. Die kommt natürlich in der alten App an, die man ja nicht mehr aufmachen kann sondern man muß jetzt diese hier verwenden… Klaro??? Leider bleibt es dabei: Deutsche App = grottenschlecht.

Absolutely horrible
Im forced to switch to this app from “SecureGo”. However upon installation they want credit card information (???) and my bank tells me it should “just work”. The app devs tell you to “ask your bank”. Classic, well done guys. I just wanted a Tan you had 1 job.

Access codes? Approval codes? VR – Netkey? Freigabeverfahren? TAN codes? Alias? Zugangsdaten? Persönliches Kennwort? I understand the need for security. Do you, Bank, understand my need for a system I can UNDERSTAND and USE ? Secure: certainly Simple: not at all Useable: never ever It all seems like a CRUEL JOKE to not allow me access to MY OWN MONEY.
Great improvement
The improvement in the SecureGo app is a great time and trouble saver. By not having to read and type in a Tan number but simply „accept“ a Überweisung, makes my life a lot easier. Thank you.
How can I activate it in California?

Absoluter Müll
Die Benutzerführung ist ungenügend. Ein faq oder Supportnummer fehlt und bei Problemen steht man im Regen. Der Kontakt in der Bank hat mir geraten die App zu löschen, vom App Store neu zu installieren und einen neuen Registrierungscode zu bestellen. Die App lässt mich dazu in meinem Konto einloggen wozu mir ein Code von SecureGo bereitgestellt werden sollte, was aber natürlich nicht geht da die App inaktiviert wurde. Sicherer geht es nicht mehr

Completely malicious software in regards of user experience. Impossible on a phone which has been set up to use larger fonts to navigate. Buttons won’t show and scrolling not available. When trying to evoke the optical TAN generator to display the barcode the buttons to adjust size are almost impossible to ignite. This is the worst app ever and a waste of time and a torture for everyone depending on it !
