I got screwed over
Deleted all my data without warning and I lost my essays and primarily all my recommendations. I understand deleting in inactive accounts after a while- but if you’re going to do that give people a notice. And MULTIPLE OF THEM. Thanks so much- I enjoy loosing my accounts when I needed them the most. Fabulous idea common app
A few Improvements
I love the App, but one thing I think should be improved, i think when I search my programs of study only universities that offer that program should be shortlisted. This will make search querying easier and help for faster applications.

Hope you guys increase the min amount of uni applications to 50
scoir made me realise how good this app is
Just a web version of the Common app
First of all Common app is just a web version same thing my school
Can’t verify
I’m having such time in my life trying to sign in but I can’t verify my school email because it doesn’t get external emails. I was originally going to switch my school email but I couldn’t because my personal email was on my phone and I couldn’t have it out. So I contacted a support and after 50 hours, I had nothing. This isn’t a game!If your support crew can’t handle anything, why does this app even exist besides using it for college?
Transfer Students Common Application App
Common App should also have an app for their transfer college students. It’s a hassle to have to go to the website every time you log in through the app. We should have the same opportunity to go through the app and use it as seniors in high school.
Common App Transfer
I am giving this app 2 stars simply because the app is not usable for transfer students. When selecting the transfer login, you are redirected to a browser, rendering the app pointless
App doesn’t work
App asks me to sign in, but then goes to a white screen and nothing loads. Or it’ll just show the logo screen and nothing loads.
Scam
For transfer students there was no effort in creating an app. There’s is barely any programs listed to transfer and the filter for finding them doesn’t work
Wont let me use it
I’m unable to accurately rate this app. I’ve deleted and reinstalled even tried using the website it refuses to let me create an account to even start applying to colleges. It crashes and won’t let me even get to the login screen after I try to click create an account. I’ve heard such good thing about it and wanted to try it so this is why I rated it two stars but I can’t say this is my accurate rating because it won’t let me use it.
Helpful
The thing about the app is that it changed my life and I will be able to go to my dream college. If anyone wants to study abroad then this is the app that can change your life
Truly horrible, even worse customer service
The Common App is unhelpful, inflexible, and outdated. Their method of making students send a message out to access customer service is ineffective as they don't respond. Simple mistakes are not properly handled and overall my journey with this app has been stress-inducing and nerve-wracking. I wouldn't recommend this to a student who desperately needs to complete their college apps as any road bumps are not tended to. Decisions as simple as not locking students into verification, responding to messages, or giving a number of contacts could help enormously. Many students have complained about the outdated system of this program and yet their opinions have been neglected. Use at your own risk.
Not opening
The app literally doesn’t open on my iPhone, it opens for the first time and goes blank as I try to login and it doesn’t open at all with the logo stuck on my screen the next time I try and the website doesn’t work on Safari too
JHU求你爱我
求求JHU ED🦌呜呜呜 不录的话给你两颗星 可怜可怜你
A waste of time
When I tried to create an account, it said there was already an account in the system, when I go to check for an account, there’s nothing. When I go to login into an account, it keeps saying the account information is wrong. this is ridiculous and a waste of my time. Never again
App malfunction
Can you please kindly take a look at the app and the website as well, most people use this as their main application tool. Thank you

DO NOT USE!!
I got rejected from Harvard but my mom was going to let me attend anyway. I had a great gpa and asvab test score and only 1 in school suspension. Triible app. SCAM BEWARE!!
Crash
Whenever I open it with my iPhone 7 it crashes and becomes white blank. Even if I close it and open it again, it still remains white
Basically the same as the website
Not necessarily more convenient but ok
Don’t use this app
This sucks. I applied to 3 colleges in one day on their specific websites, and the common app has taken 5 weeks and I haven’t finished. I do NOT recommend using this for college apps. It’s better through respective websites.

Annoying
Did all of the work to set up my application and it didn’t even have my selected college as an option, all the work was useless.
APP DONT WORK
Everytime I click to login it takes me to safari. There is no point in this APP on the cellular device if it wants me to do everything on a search engine. Waste of time
SO MANY SPAM CALLS!! WARNING GUYS PLS
I downloaded this app not even a day ago, and i added all my information, including my number. i created the account and left, i didn’t even set up anything in it and THE NEXT DAY AKA TODAY i’ve received over 20 spam calls and it’s only 4 my time, I know it was them because this is my NEW number that i’ve never received no spam on whatsoever in the past month, but as soon as i download the app i get flooded with them ???
