Im very forgetful especially when I remember after I left for work and I finally remembered to record my favorite shows and that’s where this app helps me big time!!
SEARCH DOES NOT WORK! No remote, Guide
BRING BACK THE REMOTE!!! Current version keeps saying no thing found when searching! The channel guide feature is nearly impossible to use. You have to keep scrolling to see upcoming days. There is no way to select a specific day and time. The search feature loads backwards. It loads the dates furthest out first then you have keep scrolling to find the most recent date. The soonest episodes should be loading first! Practically unusable. Now you removed the remote feature with no warning too!
Not easy to navigate
The ap needs to be more intuitive and easy to use. I’d like to have features similar to Netflix
I miss some functions
I can’t understand why they took away the ability to control my cable boxes. I used to use the app to change channels and control the DVR. It makes no sense.

App Needs a macOS Version
The title says it all. The app works just fine on my iPhone and iPads. But it would be really useful if there was a version that would work on Mac desktops and laptops. I would use it quite a bit on a MacBook Pro. I’m sure there are others who feel similarly.

PLEASE RESTORE THE REMOTE CONTROL FEATURES. IT IS CURRENTLY NOT APPEARING IN THE NEW VERSION.

Expensive and Problematic
The best feature (for me personally) was the included remote feature in app. It’s suddenly disappeared, from options without warning, twice within the last month or two. None of optimum’s hardware remotes have IR capabilities. That isn’t an issue for the 3 of the 4 DVR cable boxes I pay for. My Master Bedroom’s box, however, was mounted in closet behind TV wall and the Optimum TV App with the Remote feature, from my iPhone, obviously has IR capability as I‘ve used it, for years, to control that cable box behind the closet wall. They removed it once without warning, awhile back, but it suddenly reappeared a few days later. This time it’s disappeared again, without warning, and I literally have stand at the closet door, where I can’t see TV screen, to manipulate cable box. My Optimum fully featured TV, DVR, with 4 cable boxes, premium subscription, 1 optimum phone service, remotes with no IR capabilities, costs a ridiculous 450.00 a month. Cut the cable and stay away from this overpriced company and its lousy customer service, which I finally plan to do. Enough is enough!
What’s lower than Worst. Hell
If you can get anyone else on the planet then go that route. Nothing will be even satisfactory. Save yourself! You’ve been warned by someone who cares about your welfare and you will put me in your Thank You prayers every night! :)

This was a pretty good app but they recently took away the remote control capability so I am downgrading my rating

Want to watch on my phone but it says on in home. What’s that about
This app is cr*p
I have had this app for over three years and have gotten in touch with Optimum more times than I care to count. This app does not notify you of Reminders and that is the main reason that I downloaded this app. It is absolutely useless and I have since gone to a different app that gives me the reminders that I’m looking for. Optimum should be ashamed of themselves with what they charge for their service and their lack of support.
Where’s the Remote control feature
