- Scan accuracy is often poor
Awesome
Later our scanner works excellent I have an iPhone 12 Pro and was very pleased with everything
Used to be great
It doesn’t work anymore? When I try to scan, the screen just turns black. The app thinks it’s scanning but then when I complete the scan there is nothing captured. I tried to contact support but got no reply.
App works great
Good app, and it does a good job at doing the scans, but I wish there were more export options, like GLB, OBJ etc.. so you can use them in more software, but I understand if the purpose was specific for CAD stuff
計測機能が無い
アプリ内で計測ができない。データの採取のみ。
Needs progress bar for Sync to Cloud
Stuck uploading with the "syncing" word shown, yet with no ETA or even progress bar! Not good UX in the field. Everything else is good.
Simple and surprisingly fun!
Amazing app, with simple features! Scanning is simple, and requires no skill other than motor skills that a 7 year old could do. When viewing, it lowers the point count when moving the camera so it’s easier to se perspective. Pro Tip: the default point density isn’t even the highest, turn it up! I have one thing to say: the photo feature is great, but it should overlay the photo onto the scan, would be a great feature.
Testing
Way too slow unless I’m doing something wrong
Needs to be on all phones
Can you please make I so it works on iphone 13 mini because ein tryin to make a game of my room a d I can't do it without this app so if you can please do if you can then thanks (please write back of what you can do)
Crashing
I tried using it today and it won’t even open. Keeps crashing
Great app with a stupid cost of subscription
Very nice app but to do anything useful needs a £50 per month sub. Stupidly high price. Check 3dScanner as a slightly less featured but free alternative.

Doesn’t work
It doesn’t work at all. Using iPhone 12 Pro iOS 17.1.2
Best app for LIDAR scanning
Best app the only downside is that sometimes the app refuse to save your scan and you have to start over.
Pas d’export e57 fonctionnel
Les exports e57 ne marchent pas correctement et les fichiers sont à chaque fois corrompus. De plus la taille du point cloud reste assez décevante.
Scanning works fine, too easy to delete scans
Scanning works well, it’s just way to easy to accidentally delete scans and there is no way to recover recently deleted scans. At $50/month that’s unacceptable. They should sync to the cloud automatically but don’t since you have to use the cloud portion to get useful results anyway.
Great, simple app for many scanning purposes
1.6.1 restores an earlier feature really helps SiteScape be a great tool for landscape planning. SiteScape offers three scanning densities (how closely the scanned points are packed together). The restored “low” density makes landscape scanning quick, easy, and accurate. I haven’t tried the integrated alignment tools yet, but even if you have to manually combine scans, multiple scans in the same session are all oriented and shifted consistently compared to each other. Even using third party tools, this makes it easy to merge point clouds. Beyond the capabilities of the app, the developers have been beyond helpful when I ran into trouble. Despite my frustration, they were patient and walked me through the solution. Top notch customer service.
Really bad
It doesn’t work at all you start scanning and nothing happens, it askes you to restart but nothing, already tried with an iPhone 13 Pro Max, iPhone 15 and an xs max, don’t waste your time!!!
Brilliant app
It is a brilliant and would help if it could start recording when connected to the bluetooth of a selfie stick, at present the bluetooth bottom respond to volume but not to the app
Doesn‘t work on the iPhone 11
It says That you Need on of the newest iPhone devices
Steep subscription price
Seriously, I just want to scan to pointcloud and export. Literally all of the computations are being done on my device. I realize you need to pay for development. The subscription cost is rather steep when I can get Matterport for the same amount.
Can’t do anything unless you “sign up”
I wanted to see if this 3D scanner app can take a good scan. I want to test that by doing a couple scans and then exporting the point clouds to my desktop for processing and analysis. But even the most basic functionality requires me to give up personal information for free by signing up for an account with some cloud thing. Either let me try out your app for free, or don’t.

Needs improvement
I found the app ok, the scanner took time to form the scan image. The only concern I had was it was making my iPhone 12 a little to warm. I put it down to the app as I have had the phone for 3 months now with no heating issues at all.
Won‘t work on all the devices listed as compatible.
You listed all iPhones since iPhone 6 in the list of compatible devices. You need to have a device that can capture 3D data.
Get this app if survey or draft!
So amazing if you know how to use it and which tools to pair with. Only try to capture about 1000 sqft at a time this keeps export time down and phone from over heating. Do as many of those smaller areas as you can back to back. The cloud compare software is free and will stitch them back together if done properly. Save selected surfaces as e57 then to ReCap save as .Rcp then to civil 3D for countours etc…. Amazing!!! Never surveying with a tripod again
Don’t buy! Snake oil
The measurement of the interior of a small house is off as much as more than a foot! Not to mention the interface is very clumsy. Somebody made a half-hearted effort, put it in the App Store, and charge as much as $50 a month for it? This is snake oil!
Good app but...
This is a good app, it is free, pretty high DEFINITION, pretty easy to use, but you have to use it just right. Not too fast or you loose quality, and not too slow or it gets scattered (you’ll see what I mean). It can also get pretty low definition as well when you least want it and the maximum area you can scan is a small bathroom on maximum range. Don’t get me wrong, it is a great free app they should definitely charge for in the future, however, right now, they still have a lot to work on. Also, if the developers are reading this, please keep doubling the scan area at regular intervals, and also please try to improve the color flow within the app and make the dots more connected. Thank you
Dots
Too much dots!
No mention of cost
Get excited to pay $40/mo for questionably accurate scans that live in some 3rd party cloud! After signing up for an account with no option for Apple login, you get to find out the bait of measuring is actually behind a pay wall. App looks like it was designed by someone who quickly just learned swift and couldn’t be bothered to learn UI design. Normally I wouldn’t be so harsh about this but it’s clear they have cobbled together an app using Apple “gettting started with LiDAR” tutorials and convinced themselves that they are worth $40 FOURTY dollars a month. That’s more than it costs to pay for the iPhone itself. All this, and there are plenty of other apps on the store that offer the same if not better for free.
👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
Great app. Great for quick and easy scans. Developer is on it too! I’ve used since the beta and the app is consistently getting better. I appreciate this app so much!
Complete LIES!
The I formation on this app says it’s compatible back to the 6S as long as you have iOS 14 or later. Well I have XR and iOS 14 and so I downloaded it and when I tried to open it, it said it was not compatible. Make up your mind!... it’s is NOT compatible on anything but the newest phones it seems. Nice push to get people to upgrade. Cuz you know what people are really using that feature for right?... yeah... I was just gonna see if it even worked. It doesn’t. App won’t even open.
Gotta scan ‘em all
Best LiDAR scanning app I’ve tried. Easy to use, highly functional.
WHYYYYY
The fact it’s only for 12/12pro is such a bummer I phone 11/11pro have the SAME INNERS don’t believe me google it. Any ways. Why can’t I phone 11 users get it? U can branch out so much more and get so many more down loads make it useable for at least the I phone 11 people lol.
Great free scanning app
Sure it is a bit limited but better quality than most paid apps. I would like to see an increase in hires recording time on the new M1 iPad—since it has a min 8gb memory.
iPhone 12 Pro Max issue
I have an iPhone 12 Pro Max however when I download the appI receive an error message stating I’m using a non-compatible phone.
