I Love Zenni!!
I absolutely love Zenni! They have a great selection of high-quality value priced eyeglasses. I was a bit skeptical at the price, but after I got my first pair, I immediately got a second. Each time they got everything right! Great work and thank you for your affordable eyewear
Loss of Longtime customer
I’ve been supportive of this brand since I’ve heard of it and the help they do. But I’ve never had an issue recently decide to try their sales, been a week since the last day it’s has been delivered acceding customer support thru either of their options that are all ai bots who then try to contact a human when you do contact a human they just tell you what the ai is saying and you get nowhere even with warranty or not warranty. Such a shame.
Great if you know exactly what you want.
The best part is you can get cheap affordable glasses for whatever you need. Want an extra pair to keep upstairs by your bed? No problem. (I really only need them for screens/close reading.) The bad part, the Zenni camera doesn’t work too great with the try-on or the measuring part. It recommended me for Medium size frames and they squeeze my temples way too much and give me headaches. But oh well. They were $40 in total with blue blocking and everything. I’m just gonna keep them as my besdide back-ups. Get another better fitting size large instead.
Terrible interface
The app and website are terribly unfriendly for users. Any time you have to go back in your order, it destroys everything else saved that you’ve gone through already, including putting in your prescription (a lengthy process). Also, the PD that fits my face on the app is over 5mm different than my in-person measured PD, and ordering is a nerve wracking process that my glasses will not fit my face. I wish the whole process was easier and more assuring of my purchase, however I will say they have many options to choose from. Going back to that, one could say they even have too many options. I appreciate the cost being low for non-insured patients, but holy cow it took me over 30 minutes to order one pair of glasses due to the complicated layout and backtracking required to make sure you’ve put your information in correctly.
Try on feature not working.
Camera has permissions, the app is updated, and I uninstall/reinstalled to make sure it wasn’t on my end.
Glasses
Only place I buy my glasses great quality and cheap prices
Not as great
Customer service is so slow! I’m here trying to to a return it took them 1hr and 30mins to say something back by then I was off the app, I get an email saying “we missed your chat can you email the problem” 24 hours and still nothing… I need to do a return since I can’t do it for myself (CAUSE THERE IS NO OPTION FOR THAT) 140 dollars down the drain
Worth Every Penny
I enjoy being able to pick out affordable glasses for myself and my family once I get our eye exams done. More than 50% savings with every purchase. This time I went to America’s Best and even with the deal, I was looking at paying close to $1,200 combined for 2 pair of glasses for each of my 3 children for basic lenses! With Zenni I was able to include upgrades to their lenses and frames at a fraction of the cost.
New site
Hate the new sight It did not carry over previous orders. And I know I had a credit it was not there. Site not as easy to negotiate. Any favorites were lost. Was recommending your site to friends in need of glasses. Will have to reconsider. I had a text that had a discount, DBLTAKE. site did not recognize it. Should have gotten a 2nd pair free. Could not get because code could not be recognized. Used the 15% one so saved some. Not enough to get the the 2nd pair free. So I deleted it from order. Very poor site now!
Not so easy
Online ordering is unique but not as easy as I would expect
Awesome
Bought 2 pairs and buying more cuz it’s awesome I get to pick
Canada/ Langues
Nouvelle version incluant langues !!! Canada, on devrait y retrouver deux langues officielles Anglais mais aussi Français !!!
Recommend
Great app, prices very reasonable and a huge array of styles and lens options to choose from. Search function could be better, but aside from this, a positive experience overall.
Frustrating
Extremely slow and unresponsive. Freezes up.
Don’t force updates but make the app worse
Search functionality has been heavily degraded after I was forced to update the app to the most current version. I have a high prescription and only search for “high prescription” frames in the app. But now the app keeps showing me frames that are incompatible with my prescription despite this. This can only be discovered after moving into the item page itself and attempting to select lenses. This issue did not exist before. Stop wasting my time.
Best Overall for our Family
Everyone in our family buys from Zenni. All ages. Works for us brilliantly.
Horrible service
Horrible service.
Good variety and fair prices
I’ve purchased from Zenni many years ago and was satisfied with the quality of the product. This time around Ive purchase a more expensive progressive pair….the verdict will be out once I receive them. Online fitment software is spotty when using but allows you to get an idea of what they will look like
Disappearing deal
What happened to the 15% off I was promised for using the app?
Poor customer service
The robot doesn’t have the answer, puts you on hold to wait and wait. Show more respect for your customers.
So easy
Love this app especially how easy it is the reorder
Unsubscribe
Sucks I tried to unsubscribe and you keep sending me emails stop if I need glasses I will look on your sight then pressure sales don’t work wit me please stop
Frames
Should have a filter to remove “out of stock” filter options
Endless signin and payment problems
The password management is terrible. I could not get a password reset to work initially having tried numerous times then the payment option failed no matter which option was selected. And contacting help frustrated me.
Returned
Completely got the prescription wrong but was refunded. Didn’t make to my prescription. I will try again.
AMAZING
I tell everyone about this place!! Everyone always loves my glasses and I do too!!
Scammed
I was scammed out of nearly $300 Never got my package and was refused a refund. I was told I would have to return my item to get a refund, how can I return something I never got?’
Best selection as the lowest price!
I have personally shopped online for glasses solely for the last 15 years. I have never found anyone in store or online that you can give me as quick and reasonable service.
Love ZENNI
The new app is very easy to use. Zenni has the best glasses ever!
Nobody order from them.
I ordered 5 December 2025. Still now i did not received my glass. When i chat speak support they said wait wait but tracking not any update no any reasonable response. If you want wait 1 years or never want back then order with them. This company not responding good . If you don’t want lose your money then never order it here. Thank you scan my money .
Like the virtual try on feature
Nice that you can try on glasses virtually before you buy.
Add picture try ons
There use to be the option to add a camera roll picture in the try ons, that way it was easier to try on glasses quickly in a short amount of time. Now I can’t seem to find that option anymore and it’s very annoying since I am unable to see myself on the screen without my glasses while I try them on in the current available method. I’d love to see the option of doing a mass try on with a camera roll picture.
Order
Try on feature works well. Was happy I was able to scan for PD. Ordering was very easy.
Couldn't submit order online on Desktop computer after TEN TRIES, worked the first time on my phone
😡
Brilliant glasses and prices, even to Australia - but some app crashes still
I’ve been a Zenni customer for close to 2 decades now, and have clung to the web site over the app for far too long. The app does everything. I give Zenni themselves 5 stars, but the app 4, because of infrequent crashes and a couple of other minor annoyances (see, lots, below). The virtual try-on just gets better with every iteration, but still has issues accurately displaying colours, particularly with non-transparent plastics. It would be great if a colour calibration swatch using Pantone numbers could be used so us out here could accurately gauge how close to the mark we are with our expectations. I probably try on more glasses than most, and I still get crashes regularly. They seem to be to be memory-related, as they kick in on longer try-on sessions (30+ minutes, 50+ AR models). Trying on something and instead of returning to search results - the app just vanishes, what used to be called a silent crash in the old days - no error messages, just gone. It’s also really annoying that you have to re-do searches and filters after placing an item in the cart. And after a crash, I also have to re-load my favourites for the tags to appear in search results. That usually means I search, curse, re-load the favourites into the cache by visiting favourites tab and then have to do the search again and then re-apply filters, again. I know you want banks to handle currency exchange rates, but it would be great if each price could have a secondary, unofficial “estimated local currency” price, while still charging in USD or CAD. While Zenni is nowhere near as cheap overall as it was in the early days, there are still some amazing bargains, and I’m still paying around a fifth of what I would in Australia for progressive lenses with transitions-type effects, and for bifocals. But I can’t complain about paying just over $100 AUD for multiple advanced features like those in one pair of lenses and frames. Readers I can buy far cheaper locally, but the best value, by far, is still as a supplier of cheap, cheerful basic single-prescription glasses and sunglasses with a full range of options. Delivery has always been as fast, or faster than going via a local optometrist - usually two weeks or less for even “complex” multifocals, admittedly with relatively low prescription values. If you doubt my recommendations, I don’t know what I can say. Close to 20 years of experience, and I’ve only ever had one pair break (the - very fine plastic - frame broke, probably from a lens cut just fractionally too large, something like a year after purchase; I was inside a walk-in freezer at the time, too…), and one pair with one lens set askew in the frame - I did’t bother with a return, just relegated that pair to life in the garden shed, worn when mowing or doing things that put glasses in jeopardy. I buy 5-6 pairs at a time, usually when I can no longer find 3 or 4 pairs from the previous order. Delivery charges are so cheap though, you could buy a pair for every event you went to, as long as you had 3 or 4 weeks warning. I’ve also comparison shopped the US and Canadian “sites” in the app. Across my current AUD $450 order (as of mid-April 2025 for exchange rate comparisons. 2x progressives transitions, 2x clear bifocals, 1x readers bc I loved the frames but couldn’t justify another $100….and some accessories), and the Canadian site came out about $17 in front. That’s essentially paid the postage. If you’re rough on glasses, or have kids who are tough on them, then Zenni will save you a fortune in Australia. Nothing stopping you buying 5 or 6 pairs of single prescription glasses - frames and lenses - for under $25 AUD each. That’s how I started with Zenni 20 years ago, and I still have some from my original order. But as you get older, the prescriptions get more complex, and you want more bells and whistles - so $120 for premium progressive lenses with transition coating so you can wear one pair morning, noon and night - you can’t even buy frames to carry that prescription here for that, let alone the lenses. Cheers, once again Zenni. I’ve been tempted to try others, but I keep returning here for price, quality and reliability.
Page kept crashing
Very slow and page kept crashing. It was a frustrating experience to get these glasses
Great customer service
Any issues I have had are taken care of quickly and correctly. Very helpful Customer Service.
Good app
Good app the try on feature seems to be accurate in terms of proportionality. I’d love if try on was available for all glasses though
No free shipping over $89! Buyer Beware!
I bought eye glasses worth more than $500 and I was charged shipping cost for sending to Mississauga.
Zenni
Great!! Love Zenni!!
Sunnyday 24 promo
I am really disappointed that the promo 30% off was not applied at check out.
Glitching
I’ve been purchasing my glasses from Zenni for a long time now. Love the choices and pricing but the app needs some work. I’ve been looking to buy new glasses for a few days and have been booted out of the app 4 times now. It just glitches and kicks me out. Not sure what the issue is.
