Zoho is an inspiration to many of us. All the best to Arattai product and support team. Keep it up and running. Just wanted to share that there was an issue in sync up when trying to chat with an existing phone contact. Only after creating group and sharing the link, we are able to connect.

Good start but needs to be improved
Needs improvement especially with respect to media downloading and sharing experience. It’s not at par with WhatsApp. Happy it’s Indian and trying to get others on it but these things need to be improved

The app is good and since it is an indian app. It feel really good but developers should think about this messenger app for whole india not just south… we can see many emogi meme are all related south part of india. Rest I am big fan of Zoho and its work.

No disappearing messages feature available. Requested in multiple time inn feedback but no action taken by developer. Needs to have self disappearing messages starting from immediately after seen upto 90 days.

1. Group call quality has to be improved. 2. Some of the basic utility features available in WhatsApp must be brought, for example identifying the new messenger’s contact details.
Migration to connectivity
Can all whatapp data including messages , photos be imported to arattai app and still remain connected to all dear old friends and backup entire data to usb storage.
Performance issue
Please improve its buggy and not loading, crashing. Please add option - can delete file when visiting by file options - please add calendar option to visit any post by datewise - some file which are deleted yet visible and cant download - video freezes while video calling Hope you improve these

App is letting lot of scammers register with fake contact numbers. App should take extreme registration and security checks. Investment related channels need to be monitored and reduce fraud I had come across profiles like Aishwarya, Rohit Sharma, Vikram, Varun as scammers. App should not allow users to set their own names instead should use names registered against mobile number. Mobile number should not be deactivated after registering. People should be able to swap mobile number on their own with same identity. App has to validate proofs and allow. Aadhaar based validation is required. Name. Aadhaar Ekyc and sim registration name should match to accept new accounts. This should be done for all messaging apps atleast in India
Lacks India Integration Ecosystem
Why Banks, Services, Government Notifications come on WhatsApp and not Arattai? I got BHIM app notification on Electricity Bill today on WhatsApp and not Arattai.
Wont work with Nationalism. Professionalism first!
Though the app is yet evolving, promoting the app on basis on nationalism wont work. Be professional and refine your app in such a way that can truly replace WA.
Why Arattai App not smooth as whatsapp or telegram.
I installed and started using because of the national interest only. But only interest wont make the things smooth. Lot of UI difficulty stickers / calls / size and placement in arattai i dont feel comfortable since i was using whatsapp for long time. What stopping us to make exact the tito copy or whatsapp or telegram? Once every indian got a reason everyone will switch to arattai but that time it should be so smooth then only user can easily transit to arattai. All best zoho team. UI part dont reinvent the wheel. Copying is also an art. Try it well 🤝💪❤️

I really wanted to support an Indian-made app, but Arattai is honestly a disaster. I’ve been using it for 2 months on my iPhone 17 and it’s incredibly slow. Even simple text messages take forever to send or receive. It feels unoptimized and buggy. Save your time and storage space—it's not ready for daily use.

Images and Videos Performance and Delivery Status
The image and video uploads are noticeably slower compared to other chat apps. Besides, please consider improving the message delivery indicators — a single tick mark doesn’t clearly confirm successful delivery. It would be better to have a universal delivery status system rather than app-specific versions. Currently, we often use other apps like WhatsApp for faster media sharing. Hope these issues get resolved soon.

This app askes for permission to access our contacts, on iOS platform, however when we go to settings to give permission, there is no option for contacts. The options available are only Siri & search, allow notifications and background app refresh This app needs to be updated

Please address ASAP
On the Home Screen when scroll down it opens contact list which would be an additional click to go back to Home Screen. Developers should make sure a common search bar should be on top and scroll up and down should just have rubber band effect . App installed on iPhone doesn’t have option to switch to light mode and it gets stuck at dark mode in iOS 26. Slow delivery of messages from iPhone as well. When messages getting delivered delay or no notifications when phone is locked or unlocked with app closed
Functional Update
It must have auto chat clean timer (Disappearing Message) feature which is one of the most required thing. Secondly add one more features that is OPEN ONCE for images. Rest all is ok as of now and working flawlessly. ..😊🙏🇮🇳

The app can’t recognize contacts with more than one number, which is a bummer since most of my connections have more than one number. Edit: This bug is now fixed! There are a few minor bugs with syncing (e.g. MacOS Arattai does not recognize my username). As a feature request, we would like more integration with the Zoho ecosystem (e.g. in place of Cliq) as well!
Initialize since 2days
First the app was not able to verify numbers outside india and now since last 2days the app is initializing …need Arattai Team to Look in to this and resolve the issue.

Doesn’t work in the US
I didn’t want to write a bad review I swear but this is ridiculous, I just downloaded the app to talk to my family in India and the page to search for your specific country so you can validate your phone number doesn’t work at all. It’s just STUCK on +91 for India and when you try to search nothing pops up, I mean no country’s name pops up. I made sure that my vpn was turned off too. That is why I can’t trust Indian tech! How will you hype up this app and it doesn’t even move forward from the basic sign up page? Like wth?

Deleting posts sent to us is not there . Auto delete of msg/ posts after 24 hrs, 7 days etc to be facilitated . We love our Bharat,s own aap , wish all the best.🙏
