This is good for my future
This is a lot of help for my math. even though I don’t like math, but this is a good start
SCAM!!!
Do not download the app for weeks I’ve been having issues with the app telling me to subscribe when I subscribed via App Store. Apple has denied my claims & Bartleby has too their chat support tells me to reach out to Apple. They both keep giving me circular reasoning & no refund. I even provided evidence for this occurrence. I will never use this app again because this is a scam. DO NOT PURCHASE THIS APP!!!!

Hour long
Took an hour long to answer my question
It’s great when it’s not bugging out!
This app and the website glitches so so much. Nevertheless when it’s working good it’s an excellent study tool. Please fix the lagging and image uploading it messes up alot.
app is SO glitchy, the website is a lot better
takes forever to answer questions (2-3 HOURS), will reject questions bc of “honor code” even if u state that the question isn’t a graded one, app always says i’m out of question when i literally have 25-30 left
Useless
Pretty much useless app.
iPad support
Honestly the service is good and the app is well designed at least for how I use it. I do most of my studying (notes, lectures, textbooks) on the iPad, it’s a shame that there’s no support for that when the service is targeted for students and most students right now are using iPads for schoolwork.
Helpful.. but Barlteby needs to fix some things.
This app is helpful. But there are some times when I send a question in, I get back an answer that is written out by hand and I can’t read it at all and then I have to resubmit the question again. Some of these “experts” have the sloppiest handwriting. I would never turn something in to my professor with handwriting the way these experts write. There are times when I have to sit there for several minutes trying to figure out what they wrote. There are also a lot of bugs and glitches on their website, and I always have trouble logging in. I had trouble pausing my subscription in between semesters due to system glitches, so I emailed them about it, and they never responded.
WEBSITE SHOULD BE LINKED
it’s a great app don’t get me wrong, but if you found out it was still taking 20 dollars from you after you canceled the subscription and deleted the app because you were still subscribed to the website which i think should be connected for an app like this would piss you off some. the website from safari should be connected to the app. Once i canceled my subscription and deleted the app i had no idea where the money was being taken from except it was coming from this app.
Horrible answers
I can’t even read it. The handwriting is awful!!
Cant see the answer
I’m having viewing the answer
Sign in
It doesn’t even let me sign in on the app even tho I’m 100% putting in the right credentials, been at it for like an hour
Try it
I feel like the only problem is that they take long to answer some engineering questions which I understand but if the so called expert are the only one answering the questions I think maybe 40-45 minis is okay for a teacher to answer a question apart from that everything else is okay
THEY HAVE AN ESSAY/PAPER WEBSITE
This is the first review I’ve ever written but I have to say I’m impressed. Im not sure how to write a review on their essay website so I am going to do it here. It is currently 2:20 AM, I decided I did not need their subscription for 400k+ essays (and they literally mean over 400k) not because it was bad but because I’m not going to school anymore. It helped me write an entrance essay in 1 hour for a nursing program when I was having literal writers block for a month. The reason why I am so impressed is because of their customer service. I needed to cancel my subscription and the only way to do that was by emailing their support team. I got nervous when it said they would respond in no more than 12 hours but sent the email at 1:50 am anyway. I kid you not, I received a response within 20 minutes with my subscription canceled and a, short & sweet “thank you for your time.” I’m impressed. There was no delay, it was very timely, convenient, and very easy to do. There was also no one trying to convince me to stay subscribed to their site. When I decide to go back to school, you better bet I will be resubscribed in an instant. Thank you!
DONT EVEN WASTE YOUR TIME
This is definitely the WORST app I’ve ever use if you look for a question it’s either a black, screen not there or it will be the incorrect answer answered by the AI what ever you don’t get this app TRUST BRAINLY OR GAUTH MATH DONT GET THIS TERRIBLE APP.
Free questions
It says you get 5 free questions as a trail but when I started an account it just went to say your out of questions when I just started an account and forces you to get a plan.SCAM
SUPER WONKY APP
I love concept of this app, and don’t get me wrong, it has indeed helped me get things done. BUT… the APP itself is super wonky as well as using the app mobile In browser. It’s so uncomfortable to ask questions and navigate in the app/mobile website. It’s nice to use on PC but realistically, most people who are going to be doing live chats or asking questions about a problem are going to want to do it mobile. It’s more comfortable to take a photo on your phone and submit the question, also nice to have it on the go. It’s just so wonky and trash on mobile on the app and browser. Please fix it and make it more comfortable.
Worth it
Very helpful for all academic questions
Predatory reliance on cancellation
Even Chegg sends you an email once in awhile reminding you that you actually have a subscription. Not Bartelby. They go into deep silence after one welcome message and charge you every month regardless of use. No reminders, no tips, just credit card charges. Evil.
I GOT SCAMMED 🤬🤬😭😡😩
I’m don’t buy it the subscription they will take your money and then won’t even let you use the app
Bug for seeing interpretation and solved answer for textbook
The iPad app always glitches and doesn’t show the answers for the textbook questions… very annoying and I have to use my laptop.
Godsend
This app is a godsend. You might come across some wrong answers which is fine because everyone makes mistakes but when they are right, they put in the effort and show all the work. Something you guys could potentially add would be a “something wrong with this answer” feature that allows users to report a wrong answer and gives the tutor another attempt at the question without having the user post the same question again, using up questions they could use for something else. Thank you guys.
Scam
Paid $10 and never once was able to use the app... constant loading errors...
Rip Off
This private/For Profit company has absolutely NOTHING to do with anybody’s Community College course work. Unfortunately some schools are advertising This company within the course work section of the School Book Store as if it does…. BE ADVISED This Company Has Absolutely Nothing To Do With Your Courses ~~~ P.S. I originally wrote this as a response to a charge on My account. That charge occurred because I forgot to cancel My subscription. The subscription occurred because it was set inside My school’s bookstore under the Course Materials section. At that time, Our Course Materials simply were not being made available ~ In conclusion, This entity was very straight forward and rapidly removed My subscription the same day I notified Them of My error. For That I Must Thank Them ~ Thank You Bartleby ~~~
The guy before must be a competitor business
I used this app, and I can say that they respond to questions within 30 mins and helped me get great grades for my exams, they are really helpful and worth all the money, only 15 pounds a month what a bargain for all they help they give
Take for ever to answer
It’s not 30 minutes anymore that you guys respond you guys take more than 30 minutes.
really weird
Some questions would be right but also, some questions wouldn’t even be an answer choice.
Great help
Asking questions and getting a breakdown on how to answer it really helps as an example for other questions I was trying to solve but couldn’t figure out the steps on where I was getting something wrong.
you have to pay to do anything
im so fed up my math work is due tomorrow and i dont get it and no other websites are using the assignment that i am so i thought “okay maybe they let you get a few without paying” but no yall dont get this unless you wanna pay for monthly 10 dollar service that is so hard to manage and use
Answers take long time until experts solved it
I am paying money for that i need quick answers sometimes takes 10 hours for solving one Q plz fix this u r losing customers
Jamal
The answers are clear fast and really helpful. I am learning a lot from this site . I already recommended 3 friends that join already thank you so much
it wouldn’t let me make an account
I downloaded the app and I tried either signing in with my Google account or make a new account and it just wouldn’t let me pass the screen that was asking me to use my Google or just create an account. It would either load and I will take me back to the same old screen and I even tried like uninstalling it and reinstalling it afterwards and it didn’t do anything but do the same thing over and over again so it made me mad so I just deleted it this app is not worth your time if it’s gonna just do all that.
Takes super long
I mean its great and it gives you the answers correctly but it takes super long to get the answers I’ve waited almost three hours to get their reply:( but it still a good app
Excellent App
Honestly this app helped me Calculus 11 now doing 12. They do the steps to show me how a problem is solved. Excellent App
