Great app overall
Even though it’s pricey it’s definitely worth the money to understand the subject u are learning about.
Could not ask a question even though I had 4 credits
I had 4 credits left and I kept clicking on the button but it would not let and said that the Tutors were not available
High Potential with Little Flaws — Building Up This Bigger Issue
PhotoStudy, unlike any other tutoring app, allows students the chance to see their answer(s) at the end instead of just waiting for the student themselves to solve it. This, in many ways, can be beneficial or harmful depending on the usage. However, if there is one thing to complain about, it is the time limit. I have no idea why there is a time limit — making the tutor having to work extra fast with little time to obviously explain and the student just sitting there. There could be some interaction in my opinion, if you’re gonna include a time limit at the very least. But no. The tutors unfortunately sound very much like the bots themselves and if you ask them a question, it does not get answered until all of the CnPed parts are down. Why that matters more than the question at hand is a big concern too. I would like to thank them for allowing me to test the app though! I definitely think you all have potential, it’s just that these little flaws build up this bigger issue.
Not getting the help I need
The school that I go to offers this as an alternative if you cannot get to an actual tutor. I am having some issues with differential equations. At first I did get some help, but I am seeing less and less success with the app. I have family that is sick and don’t always have the ability to be in person for tutoring. I am growing impatient with the lack of help in calculus.
Great until you’re desperate
On ONE occasion I was incredibly stressed out because I didn’t understand the assignment. I couldn’t get an expert until an hour before the class. It took 18 sleepless hours trying to get someone to explain the concept. It was a three part word problem and it looked like a lot.
Best app
The app helps me so much I don’t always have a Tudor or a teacher to show me the details step by step and how to get the answer and the experts are great . Only problem I have is that some 1 out of 10 experts may not know the answer but if they don’t you get your refund til they find someone who does . I strongly recommend this if you need help with math , history, science, and essays , I’m going to keep this app forever!
Ask Now Button
When I press the "Ask Now" button to ask a question, the app closes. I have not been able to ask any questions because of this.
Should help with all sciences
With about bio?
Getting Help Options
When given the option on how exactly you need help, I wish there was an option that says you know how to start but cannot finish on your own
It’s great....when it works
I’m in the UK and whenever I try and access the app during the day I get the response of “sorry our expert is having connectivity issues” the only time I can access the help is during the very late hours of the evening ie 11pm-2am. It’s really helpful when it works but for the most part it’s useless during the day!
Amazing
This app is amazing, I’ve been truly using it for 2 years now & it’s been helping me get through assignments & quizzes, It also works great if you’re pressing for time & an may assignment or quiz is do. The live experts are literally great at what they do, they help you slice & get the correct answers every time.
Sessions
You don’t get the sessions you pay for, but It’s a great help, especially with math. I just feel like I be wasting my money on things I don’t have access to.
Simple update please
A amazing app just one problem if I have unused session points such as I have one session point left from yesterday. why can’t it add to the session points I get daily? Instead it just erase the point or points I have left. Please change this u can make it if you don’t login in the points don’t come in so people are still using it actively.
Lazy writing tutors. Tutors are just bots in general
I sent a 5 page essay, explaining the topic, what story it is, and telling them that I need help on it. I waited 2 days to get my results back, the only thing I got is “sadness is not a tone” out of the 5 page essay I needed help on… 2 days just to get that back and that “tutor” probably didn’t read the story… also needed help on some stats homework and I literally got the same responses from these “tutors” even with different questions
Sessions are expensive
The sessions are not free and they cost $6 for 2. Each session is only 10 mins
amazing app!!
amazing app!!
Too long
They take from 10 to 20 minutes to help you with simple, algebra problems that my math teacher explains and five it’s the most ridiculous thing ever and there’s some experts that don’t even know how to solve algebra problems.
Feature removal is bad
Hi, The feature this app had was just amazing. But it is removed now, the feature was that each device gets 1 free session. That feature was amazing, you guys had it. But u guys just removed it couple of days ago. Please add it back, it was a great way to explore the app. The Microsoft partner site is really slow, PhotoStudy is fast. So please add this feature ASAP again to get one free session per device as you guys did previously I think a week ago. After u sign up on a account, it gives u one free feature. But now it’s not. Please fix it and make it back to old PhotoStudy we love! Microsoft service is not recommended! Too slow! Thank you for your time! Please make these changes fast!
Include Python live help!!
I need help whenever im stuck in programming/computer science it would be really helpful if this app had live computer science help
Good
Ig:maelie.rousseau08
Photostudy
Helpful for algebra!
“Expert” tutors
They take 10 minutes out of your time just for you to get a question wrong and they don’t even solve it correctly. Just use quizlet to get answers or something
Great app
App is helpful, but wish it could cover more topics and also understand charts. It is fast and efficient.
They should have computer science help
Where is the computer science help? There’s only some Java basics but no programming help? It’s really convenient to get programming help especially since we get stuck on homework a lot and our program doesn’t run sometimes so it’s really helpful if someone was there to help
Good but...
Sometimes you're left without an answer and you gotta pay for more time...
Awesome App
The people on here really try their bests to work around what you know and try to help you understand the concepts, I don’t have to pay for it so I have no idea what it’s like when you have it for free since my school provides this app for me. If you’re questioning whether it’s worth your cash or time I would say it is!
horrible
never have made a google review but when you literally waste 5$ for one question and he gets it wrong is so stupid?
Add Biology
This app is great, however I wish they had tutors for biology. I would literally pay whatever for biology since I’m struggling in that subject. For the app developer: You guys should definitely add tutors for Biology :)
No experts? Hmm
Where are the experts? I’m charged 1 session to talk to an expert, but how do I get the sessions? Do you need to pay? Please help
Umm...
They make you have to pay for help when you could ask your teacher or parents for help for free😕 I don't like that
10/10
I would recommend to someone that needs help with homework
Horrible!!
This app is terrible I don’t think anyone should g we this the bar where it said it will be charged to chat was to small I couldn’t see and when I tried to hit the button it charged make the button bigger !!
Why I Give 4 starts
Overall, I love the app and everything about it. One thing I would suggest is that there should be more school topics. For example, science and things related to it.
Why is it closed when some people are still at school
Well I’m from England so I still have school doing it all at home as of the pandemic happening and they don’t bother to tell you they are taking a “break for summer” and will be back in fall that’s not useful as I need it now or at least tell it before people purchase the app quite ridiculous to say
Ok
I love this app but I can't ask a question if I do not have credit
Wow
The sessions are really great for when you know nothing about the material.
🤮👎👎👎
Used to be good now your in for the money and only money
It’s good but..
It works but you have to pay to add expert sessions and u only start off with like 10, but the experts are very talented
F****ing
this thing won’t work 🤮🤮🤮🤮 sucks
Problems
Some people are good and others rip you off I've gotten help by 5 different people, 2 actually gave me answers while 3 of them left me hanging. They replied like they were helping but hours later and you can't contact them and they can only contact you. You also can't ask for help to someone else while another question is in progress. You also can't contact anyone about this as they do not have a contact page
love this app
HANDS DOWN BEST HELP WITH ANY SCHOOL WORK . highly recommend
Wrong answer given.
The expert didn’t solve the problem within 10min and/or the final solution was incorrect.
Got it review
This is a fantastic app and is so helpful I would definitely recommend the app for anyone who needs help even Year 11’s
You have to pay!!
I was enjoying this app, it is really handy! I went to do another question but I had to pay... There are no apps like this that are free Does anyone have any advice? If you have money I recommend this app to you!
It was really helpful until those stupid credits ran out
.
Better than teachers 😂
This app has helped me a lot academically, especially in subjects like Physics and Geometry. Whether I know how to solve a problem and just want to double check my answers or have no idea what to do, PhotoStudy has always been there to help in my time of need. The tutors explain more than the teachers at my school and I actually get a better understanding from them. This app is truly a blessing.
This is just insane
I have been using this app for almost a year but know I can’t not afford it. A week ago they upgrade the app just to make everything more expensive before I was able to buy 10 sessions Bundle for $19.99 but now it's for $49.99 just insane. They double the price I just recommend looking for another application because this will cost you a lot.
Great
This app is so cool Thanks @maxandharveyofficial for telling me all about it My YouTube @GreenJNR Please subscribe
It’s okay
It’s good for helping to solve problems but when I can’t get the solver bot I have to go to the expert option. The problem with that is you have to pay for the answer point things and I don’t know how else to get them.
do not take our credits away unnecessarily
if the teacher provides us with the wrong answer or incorrect explanation, please do not take away our credits like that. it's really frustrating to get the wrong answers and having to post again, while credits are constantly being removed. please do something about it, thanks.
