Downloaded the app for my MacOS Mojave but app couldn't load despite multiple attempts. Disappointing much

Just wish there was an Apple Watch app and CarPlay app so I could listen to the vibes anywhere. Also just curious to see how those would be designed.
Why no video on macOS?
Love the vibes and the music, but how come the video doesn't play on MacOS? It plays fine on my iPhone

Gute und entspannte Musik, das Design finde ich gelungen und nicht allzu verspielt. Danke an die Entwickler für die Nutzung in CarPlay, dafür ist solche Musik prädestiniert. Nur ist es Zufall, ob die App in CarPlay funktioniert oder nicht. Irgendwas hängt dort regelmäßig.
Crash on Launch on macOS 12.7.6 (Intel Mac)
Hello, The latest version of Poolsuite FM crashes immediately after launch on my Mac. System: - MacBook Pro 15-inch (2019, Intel) - macOS Monterey 12.7.6 The app cannot be used because it quits as soon as it is opened.

recently all my old favs disappeared:((( been curating those for years - so many gems lost. pls do something about this!!

The app is so good but you have to sign in
Super mais l’appli sur Mac fonctionne assez mal. Pas au niveau de l’appli sur Android ou iOS.
L’application est toujours aussi bien. Dommage qu’elle soit autant buggué sur MacOs.. la fenêtre de l’appication disparaît régulièrement et n’apparaît plus. Seule une désinstallation peut arrêter la lecture. J’espère que vous réglerai ses problèmes.

Great music app for the summer, miss the customization
I’ve been a love of this player since the beginning, it scratches that itch, I came back to it in 2026 and sorta miss the customization the old version had :(

Can you make it so the icon supports dark mode? It stands out like a sore thumb that it doesn’t change. Please respond.
New app is decent, old app was more enjoyable.
Have been a user since the Poolside FM days and love the service— recently updated from the previous iteration of the app to 2.0 and I’m really missing the different themes and camera features. The vibe shifted from whimsical to utilitarian and the experience suffers because of it.
Addictive and reliable
All the great PS content in one place. Attractive, smart, and simple. Always good tunes. Strangely reliable when nothing else seems to last. But then, good taste is like that.
Bugged
This app does not let you listen to any music trax anymore. I have logged in and when press play there is silence? Sort your app out!!

Love the app. Only wish would be to add support for Chromecast streaming.
My favorite not totally functional music app
Music stops playin a lot. Really annoying. And very slow to start playing. Seems to have started doing this since updating from a 14 pro to 17 pro. Music content is great, been using this for a while now. Please make it great again
No more themes?
The latest update seems to have gotten rid of the option to change the colors. Now it’s just a very boring off-white that hurts my eyes at night.

EDIT: Developer contacted me saying the latest version fixed loading issues and sure enough, the app works now. Simple interface, fun design. — Player doesn’t load on macOS 15 Music starts playing and the menu bar icon loads, but the player doesn’t get displayed or the menu in the menu bar. I have to quit from the Activity Monitor app.

Simple and great
An all-around great app; the music is good, the design is cute, and the interface is accessible. There is not much for one to do in/on the app per se, but it means it does what it should without any issues or drawbacks.
Not good
I don’t know how this app gets high ratings. It is rarely updated and hardly ever works. It’s a shame as I would like to use it more but can’t in this broken state
Nice update, wish the customization options were there
Love the redesign, but I do miss the customization options that were present in the previous design. Or are the settings for that tucked away somewhere?

Works great on the web version but doesn’t play music even if you log in.
Gathering dust
Awesome sound and full of nostalgia interface. The catch? The app has started deprecating severely. Worst of all tracks re-initialise after listening for some time - which coupled with the lack of shuffle options forces you to listen to the same tunes over and over again. This used to be my top app for work or partying with friends, please give it some love so we can keep enjoying it!

App is broken
Just keeps saying there’s a Soundcloud API issue and never actually functions.
Long time fan! But missing old features.
I’ve had this all for a couple years now and it’s always a nice change of pace from Spotify. It’s lovely that it’s integrated to connect to my home speakers and I also use it to find new music that I can later add to specific playlists I have on Spotify. I’m just wondering why the new app has lost the camera, the themes, and the cool opening screen with the cherry dropped on the martini. I really hope the creators bring that back. I’d give it 5 stars if they brought those features back. It’s very rare to find any app nowadays that is free, so thank you to the creators for that. Making art for art sake.
Good radio that doesn’t really work
I love this app when it works, which, sadly, is not always the case. The music often stops and it shows the error “You do not have permission to access the requested resource”, then I have to restart the app to make it work again for some time. Please fix
Bugs need squashing
This app hasn’t had any love for some time and it shows. Same music on the playlists which often won’t skip past the first song without some forceful thumb action. It stops playing every few tracks and rarely works when connected with Bluetooth. I used to LOVE this app, known the crew since Poolside FM launched and I’m assuming that all of their other projects are taking all of the focus. Come on guys. I’m no dev but I’d like to think that the small annoyances in this app could make it 5 stars again.

Amazing app
Newer version not as good
I have enjoyed this app, but recently the old favourites have disappeared. The heart is still there to select a favourite track, but the playlist itself is missing unless a new favourite is tagged. However, all this does is make a new favourite playlist; it doesn’t populate the old one. I suspect Poolsuite has changed its login process and, in doing so, hasn’t migrated the old favourite playlist to the new system. Before, the app could be used to listen to and add favourites to the playlist without logging in. Since having to log in via a magic link, all previously stored favourites have disappeared. This is such a shame, and I'm quite frustrated that it’s no longer available.
Need a shuffle option!
I love this app but when I play a station it starts from the beginning with songs i’ve heard before. Id love a shuffle option so it’s something new each time :)

Best chill ever
Love what these folks have done. And rather than abandoning it, the keep on chugging with that lovely retro Windows look. My go-to for chillin’ or working (depending on the channel I choose). Best small music app ever!
Mac App is broken
Unfortunately, the app is still broken. Timeout popup related to Soundcloud API within 30 seconds of opening the app. Bummer, loved this little app!
The best music app on my phone, winter or summer
I love this app, it’s amazing for just getting some chill music to relax with. I would absolutely recommend it, whether you’re DJing by the poolside or sad that British Winter™ (eg rain) has arrived. The only thing I wish this app had was downloading. I wish I could download my favourites so I could continue listening even when the internet begins to die.
A good concept
A good concept but relies too much on the looks of the app. The music is ok but why force the need to create an account? The given reasons for account creation are not compelling enough. I used the app for ten minutes before it would not allow any further use without signing up. What a sad world we live in.

It is a great app, I love the style and the quirkiness. When downloading I was told by the app store I needed 11.0 or later and I am on 10.15. Big Sur isn't out yet, so will we not get any bug fixes etc until we update?
