What people like
- Simple interface without annoying ads or subscriptions
- AI feature creates cards from screenshots easily
- Much cheaper than similar paid apps
- Free version works well for basic studying
What they complain about
- Updates sometimes delete your saved cards
- Typing in text boxes can be frustrating
- Sharing decks with friends is not possible
- Premium features are locked behind a paywall
My cards got deleted after updating
The app deleted my cards upon updating
Stop with the ai pop up
This app would be perfect but I hate the ai pop up everytime I open the app. If I wanted to not use my own brain and utilize ai I would download GPT and ask it to quiz me. Please get rid of the ai pop up at the top right of the screen We literally all know it’s right there
Finally
All I need is a super simple flash card app to learn foreign languages. It seemed like every app I downloaded wanted a sub and signup before you could even use it. All deleted. Then, I found this one. Very simple, and you can instantly begin using it. I’ll probably upgrade just to support them, due to how functional and easy they designed the app. Well done.
Premium needed to practice cards answered wrong, AI features are also unnecessary
In order to sort by cards answered incorrectly first, you have to buy a premium version of the app. You probably wouldn’t have to charge people so much if you didn’t keep adding pointless AI features. I initially downloaded this version as I thought there would be no Language Imitating Models involved due to them not being mentioned in advertising. Pretty disappointing
Works for what I need but buggy
No navigation to “play” the card you want to see (preview it). Also, when editing a card and you click on “manual order”, the card disappears
Good
Very good
Pas la meilleure app de flashcard
Application très limiter et pas ergonomique
Really good app
It’s a really good revision app it’d be even better though if you could put lots of info into it and it would put it into the questions itself
Transfer to another device
Disappointed I didn’t know before I paid that I cannot transfer my flash cards to my work phone from my iPad (which I don’t carry around 24/7), something I was lead to believe I could do from some quick glances in settings. Who has both devices always under the same ID. Rather defeated the object of paying really, feel a fool. Filling out flash cards on a phone is not the easiest thing to do, much easier from a larger keyboard with greater functionality. Shall be arranging Apple refund as I clearly got it wrong. Otherwise a tidy app.
Good but needs improvement
This is a really good simple minimalist flash card app but it’s definitely missing some important features that would make it easier to use and more practical to use instead of another app. For example adding a option to add more than one image on the back of the flash card would help allot and allot more other features would make this perfect
So easy and …
This is the way an app should be made. This app was so easy. It didn't even force me to have a subscription, and the subscription was so inexpensive. Comparable apps were $79 to $99 or even $119. This was only $9, and it didn't even force me to do it, I didn't need to do it. I liked it so much that I went ahead and subscribed. Kudos to this app maker.
Didn’t even load
This app didn’t even work
Very good would recommend
I used this app all throughout school and it is amazing. You can write your own cards of get Ai to do it for you. Love it
Formatting text is limited
I read the details of the app and a couple of reviews. I liked that the app is free and that it is small so doesn’t use much memory. I therefore decided to support this developer. I have just started using this by creating a card based on copy and paste from another app. Inevitably there copying was tricky - but that’s another app. I tried to edit the card but couldn’t get a superscript either by typing directly or by formatting the font. I had to go back to the source and copy the item I needed. Superscripts are admittedly rarely used unless you want to create study cards with mathematical formulas or bible verses. (I’m sorry if I’ve missed out any other subject areas that use many superscripts.) With this limitation, it’s so far, so good. I’ll persevere as it’s early days.
Nice
Good for students and teachers
Unknown Usability
Unable to evaluate for my needs. Unable to create a new folder to see if type of cards could be created or sorted as needed. So many developers create Apps that we are unable to evaluate before they charge for it. I’m sick and tired of paying for apps that don’t work. If I can’t evaluate it use for my needs, then your app is a waste of my time and money.
Useful
Really cool app i just wish there were more features
Edit function needs to be fixed
It is a good app and I like it. But I can see many issues on Edit function.
Thank u
Very very useful, easily customizable without having to pay, was really tired of making flash cards on other apps then learning I couldn’t study them cuz I had to pay 🥲, so thanks
Uploading file error
Im unable to upload a file to generate flashcards. I already reinstalled the app and restart my ipad still not working. I got premium by the way. Please fix this.
Uploading audio files feature needed

The text boxes don’t work
This app is fine, it does what you want it to except that it will not let you click on text boxes to type in them, I found that I could get by just clicking the “finish card” option which would give me a pop up saying I need to write the front part first, thus letting me write in said text box, but that’s the only way you can do it. As far as flash card apps go, this one is nothing special, but it kind of works so it’s up to you 🤷
What an incredible app!
While I love the app for its primary purpose, I also use the app to create table style outlines. After I’m finished creating the flashcards, I export a copy of the .csv file and put it into ChatGPT to create outlines for studying. It’s absolutely outstanding!!
You deleted everything!
All of my flashcards deleted because of your recent update! I'm fuming!
Need a new option
I want to be able to type my answer of a flash card instead of taping to reveal the answer so I can check if I spelled the word correctly please I need this. The app is great btw I love it
Good but?? Unusable
This app is really good and simple as a flash card maker but for some reason it won’t let me edit my flashcards? As much as I tap on the screen the curser move or let me type and I just find this really frustrating as sometimes it won’t even let me write content for the back of the flash card. No one else I know has had this problem. I’ve tried re downloading the app and restarting my phone but nothing is working.
using it to learn japanese
honesltly has a good ui and its free with no ads so far so good
Muy básico
Pensé que tendría la opción de escribir las respues, como en Anki.
So so so good
I got this app only a couple days ago and it’s very helpful for me to revise all my subjects for up coming exams. The only thing I would say is that it doesn’t let you rearrange the different packs however you like and when you ‘turn over’ the card it doesn’t make a little animation but that might just me my perfectionism kicking in. Overall a great app, would so recommend
Swop the deck other way round
I wish it was possible the swop the deck to start with the back cover first, now that I’ve learned the words with the front cover language first.
.
Best app for learning
It keeps crashing
Cant even open the app on ios but works fine on macos
The best I could find.
I am using this app to study a foreign language. I would absolutely recommend this app, as it has some amazing and easy-to-implement features that set it way above other free flashcard apps. There is one fairly major feature lacking, for which I have left off the fifth star. Read on for my full review. I can manually create cards, import csv files to generate cards, or even use AI to create my cards for me. I used a screen shot of my vocab sheet and AI generated the cards accurately. That saved me so much time and is one of the clinching features I didn’t know I would want. The interface is minimal and simple. Admittedly, I am using my phone in grayscale, so I am not personally seeing any blaring colors to visually distract me while studying. You can add images to cards which I tested and is probably useful in certain situations, though not for my specific purpose. Audio can be added if you purchase the premium up charge. I did not. You can reverse the front and back of the cards for study, which is necessary when studying a foreign language (foreign-to-native language initially, then swap front/back to try native-to-foreign language, which is harder). You do this with individual decks in each deck’s settings. You cannot reverse the order on just one card unless you go to that card and copy/paste the values to the opposite sides. You can study individual decks or several decks at once, and excellent feature! Once you select the deck(s) and enter study mode, you tap a button at the bottom of the screen to reveal the other side. At this point, you choose whether your response was correct/incorrect, or advance to the next slide. You cannot tap to return the to front again. So to get back to the front of the card, you must skip forward and then return back. I would love to be able to tap on the card itself (not the “reveal” button at the bottom of the screen) to go front/back as many times as needed to learn that card at that moment, and then proceed to the next card. This is a feature that feels essential and is intuitive and basic in almost all other flashcards apps. I have docked a star for lacking this vital aspect of flashcard study. The AI generation and simplicity/ease of use outweigh the card flip nuisance, but I would love to see that added. Premium is available as an up charge. It allows you to sync your data (and add audio to cards, as mentioned earlier). I did not need that functionality, so I can’t review it. As a free app, this one was the best at meeting my needs (foreign language study).
Great. Easy find
All I wanted to do was put a simple pack of flash cards on my phone. The other app with 18K downloads was way to confusing to create. This app could not have been more intuitive & seamless. Perfect for my needs.
AI troubles
I'm having trouble with the AI. It's making mistakes a lot and I hope this will be improved. But I do appreciate the regular updates.
Great for Old Timers Like Me
This is an outstanding AI-based flashcard system that does not try to overdo it with style over substance. It’s a flashcard. It does exactly what it is supposed to do. There are a few things I’m still trying to work out (is there a shuffle function in this for example?) but I like the simplicity of this.
It’s good but..
i want to send my flash cards to a friend who is doing the same course as me but there is no way of sending them to him, if you could make one that would be great
