Notifications & Widget Don’t work
I have a Delta 3 Max battery. The EcoFlow app doesn’t give me notifications when AC input to the battery cuts out and the widget won’t display on my phone (iPhone 17 pro). I’ve paired the battery to the app via Bluetooth and WiFi but basic features don’t work correctly. What gives?
Please switch off LED lights
Please consider expanding the functionality of the Ecoflow app by adding a feature to switch off the LED lights on power stations and their additional batteries at night or according to a schedule
Ridiculously inefficient
The app requires over 1GB of space on my iPhone and in my iCloud backup. The program itself takes over 700MB and requires more than 300MB additional storage for the data. For what it does that’s incredibly wasteful, especially given the current prices of RAM and flash memory. Not only that but when it updates it requires downloading the whole thing all over again.
Works well, but a few niggles
Having got is set-up, it gives good control over PV & battery system. I have a few gripes: 1. For the top bar on the main page, I would suggest having energy consistently with prices all shown together if I swipe right, at the moment export is shown as a financial value, not energy. 2. Please allow for landscape mode, I use in on an iPad 3. Enable getting to graphs from, for example, the power values on the main schematic. If I touch the generation power, can it take me to the generation graph? 4. Enable swiping to get back to the main screen, e.g., swipe down or right; instead of having to touch the arrow back at the top left. Some screens seem to allow swiping, but I’m not sure.
Full house
Covers my house plus some great battery
Focus is all on useless features.
They keep adding more ads and ways to make you buy stuff. Now they are jamming in invasive AI that covers up whatever you are looking at. No effort going into use-ability or actual new features. Needs ways to configure the parameters of emergency charging it always stops to early before the storm arrives. Automation screen is a joke all you can automate is on/off. No actual intelligent or automation features. Should be able to manually trigger a full charge or switch modes. Needs emergency charging to be configurable by the user. Time before to start charging, Time after to hold 100%, etc. Lazy devs using AI slop replaced all the real innovators.
Unable to find landscape mode
Ok. The app seems fine. I got a tablet with my system, and it is in landscape mode. But I use this app on my iPad, and I haven’t found any way to put it in landscape mode to match the tablet. I asked the AI help but it didn’t have an answer.
Usable but extremely buggy
Each release seems to fix a bug and introduces two new bugs. The product is usable but the app is immature from a developer perspective.

Kind of ridiculous it can't tell you if the input power goes out.

Really don't need an AI assistant in this app. It's not obvious how to turn it off and obnoxiously there by default like somebody's promotion depended on it.

Not a bad setup. Too many ads for other products.
App is awesome and functional
But does not support smart panel widget along with delta pro and ultra. Minor, but would be very helpful! ‼️NEW ISSUE: System skipping TOU schedule unless i open the app, once app is open, it switches to battery instantly, very annoying bug that impossible to control. Please fix it
Bring back the tabs
Its awkward to change devices from the drop down menu. Go back to the tabs where you could just swipe across.
App Data is Good
Ocean pro, inverter, 2 batteries, Smart panel. Overall, the app reflects the data from the devices although a bit more definition of how and what that data means would be excellent for a new user of the system. After a week of Use, I’m finally understanding the data provided a bit better. The use logs give accurate information on consumption, charge rate and time of use. So far the app has helped us learn to use excess solar energy smarter to keep our overall off-grid costs at zero. Simple adjustments like doing laundry in the afternoon versus first thing in the morning.
Onboarding is rough and time consuming
Imagine, you just bought this expensive shiny new EcoFlow solar setup and you want to know “how much power am I collecting?” this app makes it difficult, buy the Bluetti stuff. This app makes you create an account, name the house/space, intro flows. 10 minutes on app setup just to get the system output.
Looks nice but…
Bizarre that you cannot set electricity rates exactly, as only allows whole hour times, not even half hour times! I would ask are we still in the dark ages but I’m fairly sure even then times didn’t have to be exact hours only! Makes it a gamble to try the hyped automation settings so the “smart” use of charging or discharging can be used, as the initial data set it timing and price cannot be set accurately.
Doesn’t work with bluetoorh
I upgraded this app and it will not recognize my two ecoflow products (Delta 2 and Delta 2 Max) using bluetooth only. The previous version worked great with jist bluetooth which saved battery life by not using wifi. Very disappointed.
Widgets
Why don’t widgets work on all EcoFlow devices? I have a Delta 3 and have solar panels and a widget would be awesome. Even has video instructions on how to install it on a iPhone but come to find out only a couple of products are able to use widgets. Misleading and faults advertisement.
Fantastic company
It seems as if when I first started becoming aware as a prepper, and needing some kind of back up power I went to Ecoflow installed it out with their small river and then to the river to and then to the Delta then the Delta to the Delta max. I don’t buy just what I need to buy more than enough so that I can help another in need I’m not done yet!

Stupid updates taking 10x as long to connect to the same device. Having a hard time connecting. And the app is completely redesigned which makes it even more frustrating to use them what I’m used to. When it works the way it supposed to-LEAVE IT AS IS!!!🤬

Facile d’utilisation
Lacking
The hardware headline features and sales images promise…. But the build quality and software development to support there products (aka ecoflow app) that allows you to customise how it behaves and how smart it behaves is so lacking. They don’t roll out basic improvements to there s/w that’s clearly in development to products they’ve sold. What is the use of a power usage graph with no axis, no history or date? Why are the automations so limited (you can create 1 AC discharge scenario at a time !)…you can’t turn on the deltamax2 via the app or turn it off (even on a timer!). Classic example of a company who don’t understand / appreciate their customer base and the investment made but want to push new h/w all the time (a lot of it badly made). The covers on my dual fuel generator fell off; the flap supports on the expensive cover for the deltamax2 are both broken. Rubber plugs won’t go back in where they are supposed to….
Buggy
I’ve never had an issue with the EcoFlow app but this last update seems to have glitches that is only solvable by completely stopping the app. My wave 2 was renamed automatically after the update and it jumps to 84F by itself. When I noticed it and tried to turn the temp back to 68F each tap in adjustment was counter by another automatic faster rate in the opposite direction all by itself trying to run back to 84F. It does this in the app and when using the manual button on the unit. I shut down the app. Unplugged the wave2, turned it back on and the same issue continued. I deleted the wave2 off off the app. Reinstalled, and the behavior continued. It only occurred twice tonight and I shutdown completely and rebooted. It seems to be holding for now at my desired setting without countering. Odd.
2x DP3 4xEBs off grid
The App worked great with all the information it provided. Lots of information provided for the DP3, the River, the Delta, and Alternator Charger. All systems working great. Off grid for 2 years.

Don’t waste your money
Good but not quite perfect
Generally works well. I have a power ocean inverter and battery with my solar system. Two more things would make it perfect - Let me change the names of the PV inputs. I’d rather name the strings than be stuck with PV1 and PV2 - Time of use tariffs need to have half hourly input. At the moment you can only select an hour of the day.

Freedom
The concept of the stream is good, add a smart meter and it’s transforms it. Minor niggle is the energy rate is only hourly, my cheap rate is on the half hour so lose one hour cheap charge.

youll spend out on this equipment then spend months and months dealing with problems. the groups online are full of people desperate to get away from the ecoflow systems but they have already invested. this app looks pretty but is flawed, works sometimes not all. and tech service can’t help other than email you every few days and waste time

Cant for the life of me hook this unit up to a standard wifi connection chatted with someone who gave some directions an then they ended the chat and cant be reached again. The directions didn’t help at all and now I’m still in the same boat with a unit that won’t update.

Great quality products. Customer services and website preference could be better. But worth it in the end.

Why would you not do this?? Come on get this bit right!!! Users should be able to adjust the charging amps for alternator chargers on the apple car play screen so you don’t need to pull over and adjust on the phone app!!!
Adventures Await
Great app...... but......the lack of accessibility in CarPlay really pulls down rating. I have a few devices in my RV that can be controlled through the app which is great. It would be nice to have control of devices with CarPlay such as my Wave3. With driving laws getting stricter I hope that EcoFlow will seriously consider adding this connectivity to their platform.

They were there when I needed him and Boy did it work I will definitely upgrade ASAP. Thank you for being there.
Requires account
Application still requires signing up for a EcoFlow internet account to configure something locally over Bluetooth. No way to configure the product until you forfeit your privacy to a company who manufactured a battery you physically own.
Suggestion
It would be great if the app showed you your net electrical cost from the grid ie import minus export cost.
Turned to garbage
The app itself used to be a neat way to manage my power station but now I’m forced to login to an online account in order to access a device sitting next to me over Bluetooth. What about people in remote areas and no data signal? I guess they just don’t matter when you want to farm for customer data.
Wow but
I have both application BLUETTI and Ecoflow, this one is a lot more reliable and friendly user. But the app is 859mo, it is too much for one battery.
Great Backup and Portable Power
Delta 3 Plus and River 3 Plus keep my wife’s work system online during power outages. UPS in both units is fantastic. In addition, being able to take the Delta 3 Plus easily into our storm shelter so we can have lights and fans. This make it less scary for the kids and comfortable for everyone.
They advertise features the app doesn’t have
The AI assistant tells me I can see the power output of the solar panel fir the day, week and month. I couldn’t get that info so I called the support line. After a very long wait I was told that feature is not available. This a TERRIBLE company to deal with.
Landscape for iPad please!
Want to get 5 stars… Landscape for iPad. Other than that, great app and easy to use.
Credits
Very disappointed to learn today that 2000 credits that I have earned expired and are now unusable. That will stop me from possibly buying future products directly from you.
We STILL have to sign in... for local use?
Making a user sign in to the app at every update and for LOCAL use (such as bluetooth) is NOT a good user experience. If we don't have Internet while remote? Tough luck. Please make it so we can cancel signing in and use the app locally. It's not rocket surgery. ;)
