Taxifahrer auf Zypern scheint allg. nicht fair zu sein. Man kommt abends am Airport an - Keine App funktioniert, Bus gibts schonmal gar nicht und es stehen ein paar Männer die sagen es gibt nur ihren Service und den kannst du nutzen oder laufen - there are no other option. Preise? Die machen wir ;-) kurzer Ride nach Pahos (15 min) - 60 €. Willkommen auf Zypern. Haha. Zurück also versucht mit den einschlägigen Aps - Bolt - kein Fahrzeuge. Vorbestellen ging nicht. Also CabCY - direkt fahrt bekommen. Fahrer hat angerufen, kam pünklich - warum also nur 3/5? - Es wurden 40 € für den Ride angezeigt. Benachrichtigung von VISA 40€ gezahlt. Letztlich wurden diese aber nur vorgemerkt und es wurden 45 € gebucht. Eigentlich war der Service ok, aber die Preistrickserei war unnötig. hätte auch von so aus 45 € bzahlt ohne mich betrogen gefühlt zu haben. ps - sorgt dafür das eure fahrer mehr pausen machen und nicht fahren als würden sie Fahrgäste und andere umbringen wollen.

When you get a rate for regular taxi and you order, you wait forever and then it says no drivers are available, the minute you chose to add 5 euros to the rate, all of a sudden, drivers are available, does the public not realize what is happening here?/ you need to be more honest about how your system works
Finding a driver is a challenge
This is a great idea, but it is difficult to find a driver nearly every time we needed one—both peak and off-peak times. The app prompts you to increase your offer a minimum of 5 euros to see if anyone will take the enhanced offer. That did not work, and going to 10 euros over was doubling our expected bill on short trips. In short, this might reserve a trip if you lay out a very high amount of cash for the trip. Otherwise, good luck

We ordered a cab but it didn’t come into the hotel when we had luggage and stopped on the main road when we went to get luggage it drove off and charged no pick up fee
Sneaky and useless
Forces you to top up wallet before ordering a taxi and then can’t find a taxi. Now you’re stuck as you can’t withdraw from the app once you top up. Don’t always have cash either. Stop forcing people to top up before searching
Works ok but drivers abit dodgy
Works ok and is cheaper than Bolt but the drivers are abit dodgy and I had one messaging me on WhatsApp accusing me of not paying and chasing me for money.
Amazing costumer support
I used the app in Cyprus, it worked well. After needing to be reimbursed, I contacted customer support, they were responsive, helpful and rapid. I highly recommend.
No drivers in Paphos
We booked 30 mins in advance and when the time came the order got cancelled leaving us to rush around and try to arrange another
App works okay, but no drivers
I’ve been in Cyprus for 4 days and not once have I been able to get a driver to accept my request. App seems to function as it should, but it appears the number of drivers are limited.
Room for improvement
Pros: Easy to use Always got a ride in Paphos, even in remote areas. Sometimes you get brand new Mercedes. Most drivers are polite. They don’t speak English but it is ok. Cons: Every single ride has an extra charge with no explanation from 1 to 6 euros. Some of the drivers are dangerous, they run red lights and even drive on the wrong side of the road. We had a couple of dangerous situations. Most drivers are very safe.

Заказывали такси в аэропорт заранее на определенное время, и никто не приехал. Статус «водитель назначен» так и остался висеть безо всяких комментариев. Вроде бы опция заказа на заданное время создана как раз для тех случаев, когда человеку критически важно уехать именно в обозначенное время, но именно она может давать сбой и не приедет вообще никто. 🤷🏻♀️

Honestly this is a total rip off! Tried to book a few times but you can’t book til you’ve put money in your wallet! So I put €20 in and booked only to have the job cancelled cos there was no driver. Tried 4 or 5 more times across the days but nothing. Tried to prebook and still nothing! So they get to keep my €20 great!

I used cab CY last year in Cyprus for a Limassol to Larnaca. It was great and everything went very smoothly. Today, I tried to book in the Paphos area. The job was accepted and I popped to the bathroom so was away from my phone for about 3 minutes. I came back to aggressive “are you there????” “hello?????” messages and a cancelled job. I rebooked and after about ten minutes the job was reaccepted. After a moment my phone rang and a very rude man said that the job would be €4 more than quoted in the app and kept repeating this at me. I asked why because that wasn’t the quote I was given. He then said he was the manager and all the other drivers weren’t coming because I’d ignored the messages they had sent. No other drivers had accepted the job or sent me messages. I explained I’d missed his message as explained above and he kept shouting at me whilst denying doing so. I decided to find alternative transportation. Would never recommend Cab CY now, an absolute joke.

Caution
Looked just like the Uber app. Sadly on first go i immediately get a message from the driver saying price is wrong and he immediately doubles it. Pretty pointless if you don’t know what you are paying. Oh well. Won’t be using this again.
Perfect app and service

Tried booking multiple times no taxis anywhere and won’t refund your money. Complete waste of time. I strongly recommend to avoid the app.
