Love it!
I love this app! I try to use it every day, and Amaru is just so cute! Im so excited for the sequel! I have one suggestion: I think you should make Amaru’s eye color customizable. This app is deserving of five stars! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Edit:maybe also make spa tokens easier to get? Not everyone has friends apparently 😆 Edit for the latest update: I used to feed Amaru until it said he wasn’t hungry anymore, but now I can feed him forever, even after his bond is maxed out for the day. Is this a bug or an intended feature?
Privacy Concerns🥸
Very concerning private policy, damn near giving out all your data in a form of a bow. There are other cute mental health apps that value customers privacy. Update Response: to be able to recover users files, or to give them the ability to recover their own files doesn't requires you having access to all their personalized identifying sensitive information. If it was pro privacy, you would limit what you had access to, and/or have it be locally stored to users, and have them responsible for their own data. Instead of illuding that this is required to save them. That's not how individuals, having access to their own private information and no one else does works. It is NOT mutually exclusive. Very predatory imo.
Honestly so good
I love this app so much. As a teen girl struggling with anxiety and constant sadness, he helps so much. Watching him stretch and wake up is so wholesome! I love him so much. My only problem is that I wish that you could do more without $10, Maybe I need to add that I’m a young, broke teen lol. (Not that broke but still…)

I really like the art style and the fluid animations. The man’s voice during the guided meditations is wonderful and soothing. The plot going on in the background about Amaru’s past is perfect to keep people engaged and coming back. I also really like the journalling system. I might just buy the full version!
App freezing
This is my second time downloading the app. The first froze multiple times and wouldn’t save my progress; I couldn’t get past the tutorial. I deleted and redownloaded the app and again I can’t get past the last part of the tutorial until it freezes. When I restart I have to repeat the tutorial and it freezes and doesn’t save again, and again. I’m really disappointed as the app looks great. I’m on iOS. :(

Not that good.
So, Amaru is an alright game for mental health-but the fact you need to pay for stuff in a game like this is bad. Every time I try and pet Amaru and feed it, nothing happens and it always says Amaru isn’t hungry. So, what do you want me to do? I play games and do exercises but our bond never grows. It needs updating because so far it’s becoming a chore.

I got the app. After finishing the talking part and introduction, it immediately kicked me out. I tried two more times but it still kicked me out. Mind fixing this? Thanks 😅

This game has so much potential. It's so well made and so unique in a great way. The only issue is that you have to pay to basically do anything. It's frustrating because I started it however it didnt want pets and it didn't want to eat. It just wanted me to do one of the activity things. However when I try to do any of them it's all locked behind required payments. Just put a price instead of advertising it as free download if you want people to pay to do anything in the actual game. I would rather play my other games because of this demand for payment to do anything.

I have autism and ocd and have always struggled to find mediations that works for me but these always work without fail plus I love that damn cat 😅
It's okay but...
I wish that you could increase the max amount of daily bond, because it's a bit hard to upgrade the levels. Another problem is that there is not a lot of things to do if you are playing with no ingame purchases. However, if you buy golden keys, I'd feel like it's a waste of money because you'll eventually get bored of everything. There is actually not much things you can do in the game. The journals have a limit of what you can write. Once you reach it, you can write no more. The most confusing thing is making an account. You do not really need one to play the game, since the chance of random data resetting is really low. Other than that, I feel like the game's pretty okay. The winged cat named Amaru is cute, and the company probably worked hard to make the game. The animations probably took an expert. Thanks for reading my review. Have a nice day.
Love this!
This type of stuff isn’t everybody’s cup of tea but it sure is mine. I love this app because it has calmed down a lot and gives me time to think of only myself. It’s super fun and reminds me of a Tamagotchi. Though it is pretty blank and doesn’t feel like enough to do on there and Amaru’s reactions could have more detail so it feels like you’re actually interacting with it rather than it doing the same thing over and over again like a robot select a few different face expressions would be nice would like some more ways to earn money. Would totally recommend!:p

Just got the app but it keeps crashing when I go into the app.
really good, yet needs more free choices
I got this app mainly for Amaru, yet ended up enjoying relaxing/breathing exercises now and then. However, there’s not much you can do without paying. You have meditation intros and breathing, and with Amaru, the only free options are to pet him/her, and feed him/her. You can also write journal entries for free. Very cute app.
Helps a lot
I suffer from stress, depression, and I get angry easily. This app helps with all three of those things. Here are 3 reasons this app is deserving of 5 stars ⭐️✨. 1. It is so fun to play with and take care of Amaru!! 2. This app requires absolutely no internet, so it can be played in all places at all times. 3. It has no ads at all, so you can have fun with Amaru uninterrupted. This app was so worth it. Also pls put me on top so everyone can see this
Don’t understand
So I just got this app and already it’s not letting me into the app! I’ve tried restarting the app multiple times and even restarting my phone! Why isn’t it loading?

Was really great when it worked
I absolutely loved this when I first came across Amaru, & my doctors & I would recommend this as a way to make building good habits for combating stress/anxiety & depression fun. The app is very reasonably priced & I loved that it included mindfulness games & meditations to help when I needed to reset after a panic attack. Sadly I haven’t been able to get back to any of my data after an update a few months back, & have to restart all of the work I had done with Amaru which is very discouraging when it was a big part of my mental health routine for such a long time prior to it wiping clean. The developers were quick to respond, but it still hasn’t been resolved & often I’m asked repeat questions most likely since it’s been so long & ongoing a problem trying to get my data back. Since using the gratitude journal was the most important part for me, being BPD with chronic depression/anxiety I needed that journal for checking back on bad days as part of my bounce back habit…it was one of the best gratitude journals in an app I had found initially & was affordable but I did have to move on to using an other app since waiting this long without a journal would have been silly & detrimental to my mental health. I do hope this issue is resolved eventually so others don’t encounter this error but for now I have to chalk it up to a good app that no longer works & burned up a few of my dollars.

Well-being app suitable for children, teens or anyone
I’m new to the app & looking for apps to use with teens for their wellbeing. It’s nice, I like feeding & stroking the cat & the little exercises & journal. I don’t want to pay & am cautious to recommend something if it keeps asking. I’ll see how that goes

Keeps crashing
The app looks great but I can’t get on it without it crashing. As soon as I open the app it crashes
Decent and simple - Basic coding and animation (slightly repetitive)
Designs are good, yet when I began I hoped for for ornate scenes that were interactive (legend of Zelda or any player game) yet since we are paying (a lot of us) I’d like to see a scene of the village, maybe the lotus temple and be able to see Amaru step in, to a space with lotus pond and crystal lake. I would also like different colour crystals for the ‘it’s more abt peace I’d like more choices of chosen gems for the ‘glints of peace’ like to have quartz instead of those three rocks each time. The meditations need more speakers, like same recording but choice of voice. I have listened to the guy few times but they are not enough to make me return to the app often. Secondly, I bought the cake and the skins and was charged in USD (which I knew) yet when I went to go edit his colours they hadn’t updated which just made me feel apathetic about the money spent. Which is disappointing. I don’t know where to change my background I bought either. And I bought different sound cause I don’t like the birds. (Needs to be choices of free bird sounds cause the default one is currently cashing some irritation) overall the design is okay but details like the gem crown could be rendered better so it doesn’t look superimposed /low quality without shading. And I really would like to change the colour palette. I hate dark/medium purple with a passion and would prefer to be able to change that. And the six wing logo looks best when it’s with the gold, like on your website. I know you guys all have a lot of background and dreams for it so please. And so more choices of voices for the mediation, updated purchase info immediately for the Amaru designs, and some details. And if possible, lotus village be real and interactive. It’s a good base but it’s lacking still.. I go months without touching this and made the purchases today to support since you guys are working on some of the updates, hopefully lotus village is going to be interactive even if it’s just a temple/sanctuary. Maybe even work with a real project with a Monk of Buddhist belief and get some quotes and advice (compensation to their choice) as it’s quite rudimentary at the moment.

I haven’t been able to stay in amaru for more than 10 seconds which makes it so I can’t even get past the privacy policy sign.please fix this.All it does is make me angry.I have deleted games and apps that I have.All of them have lots of progress.Amaru still doesn’t let me in.
Amazing only one thing
I got this app when it first came out and ended up deleting it because there wasn’t many free options available. I have recently downloaded it again due to the changes made and I’d definitely say it’s better and more enjoyable. The only thing I would say is that it would be really nice if you could make travelling to more than one other location free, I would love to unlock other parts of the journal. Otherwise amazing app.

I absolutely love the idea of this app and how cute Amaru is but whenever I try to open the app it crashes like after a second so Im unable to play it. I really was excited to try this app out but I can’t. I don’t know if it’s to do with my phone or not but I hope I get to try this app out one day.
I LOVE Amaru!
I’m a mom that feels overwhelmed, and sad at times an Amaru helps me take care of myself by taking care of him. When I get up in the morning an he’s shaking an anxious, I’m motivated to get out of bed and complete my first goal of the day, which is typically yoga. Getting up out of bed early in the morning to go to the gym or practice yoga can be so hard, but Amaru helps me prioritize myself and get going. Their is also so many wonderful things to do. Like puzzles, journaling, and a burn journal which is something I’ve done in real life. Thankyou to the amazing creators for making such a wonderful, fulfilling, an helpful virtual self care pet. It’s more than just an app. 🥹 I also want to thank who ever payed it forward and granted me a key. I will be sure to pay it forward an pass it on when I have the extra funds. 💜
Where’s the sound at?
Seems like a really good idea/app but I’m not getting sound. All my other apps have sound but for some reason not this one. It’s a shame. It’s a good idea.
