I have tried other medication reminders. This by far the best app.
How can I take as needed meds and have them on the daily list?
I have to take daily changes for symptoms like stomach ache or headache there are no instructions on how to do it. It’s ok but when you have anxiety can’t keep remembering the meds you took I take Thryoid, Lexapro etc I want to let my dr know the meds , foods ,symptoms so I can get optimal health. I’m trying to. Write a list I don’t know what’s related to what. I’m so tired if I tell anyone they are frustrated and tell me everyone I went swimming yesterday. Is the exhaustion from that? How can I put the meds for symptoms on the lists

A great improvement over the last version (double pill icon)! Allows for a lot of flexibility and different ways to organize multiple meds. After many years of using the “double pill” version, I am finally trying to re-input everything into this app. I was SO frustrated that there was no way to transfer my data over from the other app, but I’m finding that it’s worth the effort. ;~) I have one other request of the developer. It would be so helpful if each time a new entry is started, the app could automatically show the last time the med was taken! It would be especially helpful for as-needed meds because it’s always important to know how many hours have passed since the last dose. But even with scheduled meds, I’m not always on-time with dosing, so it would be very useful! Thank you for such a helpful app! 🌺🙏🏽🌸
No compatible con anterior
Soy usuario, muy contento, de la anterior versión 8.4 Al ver esta última, la descargué para ver novedades y, si la veía interesante, migrar toda la cantidad de información de la app antigua a ésta última, pero veo que no hay opción (o no está disponible si no eres premium) Entonces desisto y la desinstalo directamente. No veo necesidad de volver a pagar de nuevo por la misma versión un poco mejorada, cuando para ello podía haberse realizado esto en una actualización y así evitarnos un nuevo pago y, lo peor, tener que volver a pasar manualmente la infinidad de datos como es mi caso. En definitiva un “sacacuartos”.
New app can’t restore backup from original app
Why create an update to the original Pill Reminder and not be able to restore from that backup. I have to create all the medications and reminders all over again ☹️
Very good, but needs some tweaks
I used to use another app that got way too complicated over the years. This app is easy to use and clear to see what was taken or not. I wish each time slot of pills were grouped together, so that rescheduling dose times, skipping or taking them could all be done at once. Currently, you can mark all 3 or more as taken or not, but not reschedule. I can’t find where to adjust the snooze time. The last thing is when I select Take from the watch companion app, it marks them off at the time they were due, not the current time, which is then inaccurate for determining the next pill time.
Notificación de nueva versión
Utilizo la V8.3 que va de maravilla, llevando con ella años. Sin embargo, a raíz de liberarse la nueva versión, el desarrollador nos machaca insistentemente notificando acerca de esta nueva versión. La única manera de deshacerse de esta molestia, sería desactivando el globo o incluso la notificaciones al completo, con lo cual la APP perdería su sentido. Pido que se suprima esa molesta notificación, y que la nueva versión aparezca entre las mejoras solo si se accede al menú opciones o configuración. Solo doy una estrella por este error tan molesto.
The best pill app on iOS
This app is so customizable and amazing I can’t recommend it enough. The developers have been making it for years and are so nice and happily listen to feedback. I’ve used the paid version for so many years because not one single pill reminder app on the App Store comes close! All the app is missing is syncing to the Health app. (Please make an Apple Watch version of the app)!
Pill Reminder 2 isn’t a paid upgrade and Pill Reminder 2
1. Trying to edit visual images of my medication to fit them in the square takes some work. And for safety, it’s important to have the identifying marks of the medication in case of confusion, besides that - I’ve both pill reminder (love it) and now… I pill reminder2. It isn’t an upgrade, it doesn’t combine or transfer anything entered on the first version, have to manually move everything over to the new version and then keep the original because of the past calendar. I have to take a lot of RXs because I have multiple morbidities. One of the affects my vision, and the other destroys my joints and immune system So putting everything back in is a heavy task. But necessary. I have 3 or 4 medications that the original pill reminder couldn’t find, I hope this transfer/upgrade is worth it.
Good But Unnecessary Restrictions
This app is supposed to be an upgrade to the old pill reminder app. I like things like being able to send reports in Excel format or a dedicated doctor’s tab, but the unnecessary restrictions added make me wanna go back to the old app or switch to a new one. This is supposed to be a personal app where you get reminders and track medication, so I don’t understand why there are frustrating restrictions and missing features like not be able to schedule earlier than the original date, only being able to set specific preset decimal values as the dose amount, not being able to delete old scheduled medications even after you change the start date, no longer being able to have silent (no vibration) reminders, not being able to set when older data is deleted, etc. These are all restrictions that only make it harder to customize your experience and record accurately, which was the best thing about the old app imo. However, this app is still otherwise well-designed and still has a lot of the good features from the previous app besides that.

I really like the way it works for medications you take every day. The “as needed” process is somewhat cumbersome. I believe it would be smoother when you tap on the as needed button to have all the as needed meds listed with the normal options available to pick instead of having to go through the add/select rigmarole.
Great App But ….
The app prompted me to upgrade. I did, and then it wiped out all my previous stored information. The app works great … BEWARE of updating it. Now I have to re-enter everything. 😖😩

Notification turend off
When opening the app, continuous notification that the notifications are off. Not nice if you depend on notifications.
Dose adjustment
After every update, I hope it will be possible to adjust the dose, but unfortunately, that’s still not the case. And don’t reschedule your medicines if you’re traveling to another time zone, because all your previous previous taken medicines will disappear! Other than that, it’s a nice app; you can generate reports and create backups.

Currently stuck.
When I tried to use the app a request for a review is stuck and I can’t check off that I have taken my medication nor can I navigate the app in any way. I have only had the app for a week.

This app does an excellent job of tracking my prescriptions and when they need refilling EXCEPT the one for my sensors for my Continuous Glucose Monitor. I’ve had to set up 3 separate “medicines” in order to get it done. One for when I’m supposed to ORDER it (including lead time ‘cause NOBODY keeps them in stock) & two for actually USING it, since you alternate which arm you put it in. Part of the problem is that there’s nothing that lets you schedule ONCE A MONTH (as opposed to every 30 days). They’re NOT THE SAME, in spite of what the medical community thinks. If anybody else is interested, let’s see if we can combine our voices and make ourselves heard.
Great Reminder
When I started having to take daily medications, I was concerned about my discipline. Luckily, I ran into this app that gives me timed and persistent reminders.

I love this app. I started with the free version, but switch to full version the first day of use. I would rate this a5. Star, but I have ran into trouble changing! Updating doses of meds. I have new medications and the doctors are trying to figure out the right dose, best when to take. But once I had entered meds first time I found no easy way to update any meds. I have had dose change from 1 tab in AM to one in AM and 1 PM; then tried to change 2 Am and 1Pm. And, I have been unable to even find away yo delete the information so I can re-enter it. But it’s still the best I have seen thus far.

I was going to upgrade from my original pill reminder that works so well for me but there is no way to restore from one to another.

Scheduled medication with recorded time not showing menu on tap
Setting has the option selected to show menu when tapping on a checkbox. If the checkbox is not empty, the menu does not display and the box is cleared. Losing the time the medicine was taken turns 5 stars into 3. It's extremely easy to trigger a tap of a checkbox just by moving the phone while the app is active.

Have used it every day for the last two years.

Instead of upgrading an existing app they make you get a new one and re-load everything.

I bought this because I’ve been a happy, longtime user of the first version of Pill Reminder. But I have 5 years of data and history there I want to keep and be able to routinely analyze, but there’s no way (that I know of) to migrate all of it to this new version. So I’m still using the old one. (I wanted to try this version mainly because it looks like it keeps an accurate, real-time count of when I’m about to run out of something—obviously we would all LIKE to adhere 100% of the time to our dosage schedules but we don’t. The older version never gave me a correct estimate.) Please, is there a way to migrate our data from old app to new?

Tengo la primera App y al ver esta que se guardaban los datos en iCloud me la descargué y compré el Premium pensando de que con una copia por correo podría traspasar todos mis datos que son muchos pero me sorprendo de que no son compatibles podrían ser compatibles ya que tengo muchísima medicación y sería un engorro pasármela otra vez, si se soluciona este pequeño inconveniente las 5 estrellas están ganadas.

Good med reminder, but alarm is way, way too quiet even when volume is set on high or changing alarm type. It is however, a wonderfully simple med app however and not at all complicated.

i've been trying this out for about a week, i use an Apple Watch, and an iPhone. i tested vibration functionality, and sound functionality for the alarm, and it's working good. good job Sergio. 👍
No automatic time change
This pill reminder doesn't have a time change to concur with taken now option in case I'm unable to take at a scheduled time. It would be nice if all the times set would all change accordingly to when I do take my pills.
You’re not there yet
I need to be able to turn it off when I receive a notice when I have more than one pill happening at the same time it keeps ringing I’m not sure how to change that but it’s got potential play solve that issue or show me how to once I’ve had the notice I’d like to be able to turn it off for that particular time even if I have one or two or six pills thank you Ken
