- Works perfectly for basic MOV to MP4 needs.
What they complain about
- Converted videos look fuzzy and pixelated.
- Does not support common file types like MPG.
- App crashes or freezes during conversion.
- Support never responds to your messages.
Amazing!
Quick to use!!!
Paid for “error”
Paid for premium download just keeps saying error unable to download or convert due to invalid file name… aka scam
App is good but no support.
App works well. 3 stars only for Trying to submit inquiry about the temporary conversion files that seem to get left behind after conversion. Want to know how to get rid of them as the space savings from converting mov to mp4 doesn’t add up. Support site leads to Facebook page. Tried sending a message a month ago and didn’t get response yet. Please help!
Conversion works but mp4 film only 40 seconds
The conversion from Apple MOV to mp4 seemed brilliant, until I tried to view the 1m 20 film but only 40 seconds is viewable. It seemed to work, but I can’t understand why only 1/3 of the film was converted? Perhaps it’s just a small section until I pay. Happy to pay, but I need to know it works but what if it’s just limited to 40 seconds?????
Might be good but my videos have no sound
So I upgraded in order to convert a very large video for an assessment task. It appears to have worked well but I have no sound and the original file seems to have been damaged or lost. Not sure if this is a me problem or an app problem.
it’s a great app
many years my friend
Not good if you are a beginner content creator
I am only 14 years old and trying to become a content creator. I want my videos to get the best quality possible from just recording from my iPhone. Upon reading other reviews, you have to pay to get better quality. If you don’t the quality is the worst I have ever seen. If you are willing to pay then so be it. NOT GOOD FOR BEGINNERS!!
Ok app
Does what it says on the box
Why so many updates
I have received updates every few days for a few weeks. Same thing. Tweak to interface. I also paid to get the good quality converted files but they are not that good. It works but I don’t think I will stick with it.
YouTube URL doesn’t work
Just another one that doesn’t work. Google has all these scam YouTube converters . It’s obviously illegal to convert stuff so I get it .
So helpful
This has saved me as I work from a Mac and EVERYONE else seems to use a PC.
doesnt work
Invalid file type for .avi, speechless
Conversion FAST But very low quality
The quality makes the video unwatchable.
ok, but...
could you please add a feature for youtube vids?
Simple to use
Simple to use but effective. It does exactly what it says it will
Does not see my iMovieMobile files
Which is why I downloaded it. Waste of time and money. WTH Apple?
Ok but…
This app is very useful but even though it’s free you need to pay £3.49 to make it good quality. I think that’s a bit of a scam because the low quality is really terrible.
Easy to use but poor quality videos
I paid $3.99 to get the high resolution videos for converting my IPhone movies to MP4 for a work project and the videos were very fuzzy and pixilated after conversion. Tried another app, that was free, and got clear converted videos.
Noob this scam
Mmmm
terrible uninstalled in less then a minute
all money hungry
Lucky if it actually converts one
Downloaded and paid $3.99 only to have the app crash after converting only one video. App gives up in the compressing stage and just freezes. Want my money back.
Hey not bad.
I have problem hiding videos on my iPad and I can’t open some links which I could on VLC media player. Other than this everything is fine. Please look over this problem. Well done for developing such a user friendly app. Good luck.
Can I do zero stars?
Paid $3.99 for upgraded version. My iPhone videos come out looking like they were made on beta or vhs. In best mode they are highly pixelated. Looking to spend $4? Have someone kick you in the crotch instead. Time and money better spent….
5 dollars wasted on an app that doesn't work
I paid for this app solely so I could convert 2 video files. It tells me both files are "invalid". Don't be fooled into thinking this will convert MKV files to MP4, because it won't. I'm furious. I want my money back.
Datos no claros
La app funciona. Cumple lo que dice. Convierte MOV a MP4. El problema es que la máxima resolución que convierte es a 720p aún cuando pagas la versión Premium y tu video es a 4K. Esperaba más por el precio. No fue útil para lo que necesitaba.
Simple and accurate
Works every time and love that it’s simple and does the job. Well done!
Want a refund
Does not work or do what I researched. I want a refund.
Doesnt Do What I thought it could do..need refund
Wanted to convert a 12gb mov file which was the output of an imovie project of 1 hr 17 mins.. this app has only 3 options.. high - which gave me same file size i.e. 12gb mp4 file.. the medium option reduced the video file size to 700 mb but then frame size was reduced to 500 x 477 or something like that.. immediately uninstalled the app as it doesnt let me choose the bitrate or fps or frame size which can help me get a better quality output but with reduced file size
Awesomeness
Great product, easy to navigate! A awesome tool to use or my school projects.
Max of 720p
Unfortunately, the highest quality conversion is to 720p. And when converting from HEVC, there are strange “slow-mo” issues with the converted video. Sadly you don’t know this until AFTER you pay for premium.
Perfect!!
So impressed with the simple app! It did exactly what I needed to, convert a video from MOV to MP4. No gimmicks no unnecessary b/s just straightforward. I even tried the Adobe conversion and I was getting “cannot play this file type” on my computer. Used MP4 Maker and boom perfect video.
Does not support MPG files
There is literally no mention of what file types it supports in either the App Store or within the app itself, but seemed like a safe bet that a video converter would support MPG files. I downloaded the app and even paid the $4.99 for premium to convert to “high quality.” Guess what, the MPG files I wanted to support? INVALID FILE! More like invalid app
So Quick and Easy, I love it!
This tool makes my job so much easier! I had to convert the .mov videos online and it was taking forever.I also had to do it on my computer so there was a lot of uploading big videos in to driveBefore I could actually convert it. This literally takes second for a short video. I purchased the pro version because I wanted high-quality videos and it’s worth it so far. At least for short videos it works well.
Doesn’t work
Didn’t convert any urls not a single one
