We found a great cat sitter through Meowtel and it’s so easy to schedule with her. If she’s ever not available I’m sure Meowtel will offer us great alternatives.
They abuse the notifications
I need to have notifications on in case anything happens with my animal when I have a sitter, and then they spam my device with advertisements every day or two. Very annoying very unnecessary.
Awesome service!
This is my first time using a pet sitting service, and I’m so so happy with our specific sitter and with Meowtel overall! I highly recommend Meowtel for cat owners. I knocked off one star only because of the app interface - it’s a bit touchy, either duplicating posts or delays in posting, and the UI for documenting info about each cat could be a bit smoother.
Deactivated Me Without Warning
I was enjoying the app, had happy clients, but got busy at the end of the semester so Meowtel deactivated my account without telling me. I reached out over email multiple times trying to find out why my account suddenly became a client account. Only finally got a response when I called, now they’re saying the area has too many sitters. This feels unfair since I was already a sitter with good ratings. I prefer the local cat sitting agency I like because they still give me clients no matter what and don’t pause accounts. Would not really recomend this app due to poor communication and not reinstating me.
Sitters are Great but App is slow.
The app is used for sitter communication but frequently does not load messages real time. We were away and there was an issue but half the messages didn’t come in for several hours. Very frustrating.

First time using a pet-sitting app and only good things to say so far. App is easy to navigate, and I appreciate the in-app chat feature to message sitters! I appreciate Meowtel’s policies and protections for both the sitter and the pet owners.

Exceeded Expectations
I had been unable to take a vacation in 2 years since my boy had a diagnosis that changed our lives. I was beyond anxious to try meowtel! My sitter was kind, committed and took her work seriously. Updates twice a day with pics and videos- there was no question throughout my trip that my loves were well cared for. I returned home to happy and healthy cats and my own anxiety lifted- will trust meowtel again in the future thanks to the background checks and customer reviews. It feels reliable and it is.

I just happened to stumble across Meowtel while looking for cat sitters. I’m so glad I did. We have now used the same sitter twice and each time it has been perfect. The Purfect App!
As a flight attendant I am often gone for multiple days at a time. While my queen kitty is set up for success alone, I want her to get some love and attention. This app is so user friendly and has connected Winnie and I to a fabulous and trust worthy cat sitter. I love the peace of mind it brings me knowing she’s getting some affection while I’m away and is being checked in on.
Feel Safe
I love that they do a background check on their applicants. I have not heard great things about other platforms and was so nervous. I am so grateful to have someone to come spend time with my kittens so they are not stressed ~ I feel safe with this platform and that’s amazing.
