Incredible Value
I am in awe of the value you get for the price of this product. It does everything most musicians need. I highly recommend it to all my musician friends. It is a winner.
Horrible
Glad I didn’t go to the pro version, way to complicated no instructions
Good and useful for the most part
This is a useful app for learning and practicing songs. Some users may even employ it for a three-hour bar or club set if they do not remember the lyrics. The scrolling feature works well, and the letter size and scrolling speed are easy to adjust. There is one serious problem: the metronome does not keep a steady beat, so it cannot be used as a metronome or click track for practice. I use in-ear monitors during most practice sessions, but when traveling without my usual gear setup, this becomes a serious limitation.
Tutorial needed
I have recently been showed this app from a friend but need someone who can explain it for me. Is there an option for that?
Developer Inaction Disappointing
I had some issues with the app that I couldn’t find solutions for online so I contacted the developer in February. I got a confirmation “Thank you for your interest in SongbookPro, this is an automated conformation email but a developer will respond to your query shortly”. No follow-up so I re-sent the message in April. Still no follow-up so I re-sent the message in June. It’s now August and still no follow-up so I’ve given up. Too bad, I really like the App but the issues I’m having make it unusable in certain instances so I’ve moved on.
Awesome app
It genuinely helps me find the cords to songs and easily learn them. It also creates a format that you can print out on paper. Overall rating is 6/5 stars, this app is great!
Not working on iOS
This used to be good and reliable but it’s no longer. I can’t select any of my songs the app just freezes.
Works Great
How long will it take, until SongBookPro, starts charging a Yearly or Monthly fee to keep using this APP?
Sehr Buggy

Great App!
I’ve been singing/playing on stage for over 40 yrs. Currently performing with 3 different bands with large repertoires. This is the best lyrics app I’ve found. All the features I need and more, yet very simple to use and navigate. So far, it works flawlessly. Works well with my smart pedal too.
Really buggy app
I don’t understand where all these glowing reviews are coming from when there’s a whole facebook page about the bugs. I have repeatedly tried to access my ukelele group through the groups portion of the app and when I try to log into that I just get a repeating circle. We’ve paid for the app to be able to share songs. I have tried to delete the app and reinstall, closed anything open on my IOS device, downloaded the latest version etc. At one point it locked me out because it said I tried too many times. I’ve never seen anything like it. No support either which has. wen reported by many users having similar problems…
Near perfect for me
This app covers off almost everything I need for my work within a band. The only thing it really needs at this point for my use is the ability to quickly and easily control additional text performance notes that I need to make by allowing a simple selection pallet of text style such as bold, or underlined, caps, and the ability to select the colour of the text for notes added to a song sheet. This is particularly useful for things like count in, capo position, and singing notes like pauses, emphasis, and such that need to be read throughout a song. As far as I can see, it’s about the only addition I’d make to this app.
Online Synching issues
I’ve had very little success getting the online sync function to work with Microsoft OneDrive. I’ve sent several email requests to the developers with no response whatsoever. I’d give him more stars but not being able to sync between devices. Makes this painful to use.
Inconsistent
I enjoy this app - when it is working. Unfortunately, I as well as many others have issues with the Songbook Groups functionality which is more often than not, down.
Songbook pro
This is an absolute brilliant piece of software but I could better choose where it looks for songs what programs thank you
No iTunes or Apple Music
Will not play iTunes Apple Music songs! This is the only service I use and have thousands of songs! Please update to use iTunes and Apple Music
Does the job, but not updated
Songbook Pro is a great tool for someone who plays music live on stage. A few upgrades would make it 5 star, and I've made these suggestions, but didn't even merit a response from the developer. One major improvement would be allowing in-line bold and italics on lyrics so I know what words to emphasize or sing on the beat. Another would be to allow me to download tabs from my PRO subscription (official tabs) from Ultimate Guitar.
Meldung kein Internet
Great but one big flaw
Twice now, since I started using it, it does not successfully search online for new content. At this moment, it’s been three days that it’s failed to find any songs. I have double checked my internet connection and even tried using my iPhone hotspot, as well as trying different wifi networks. Very frustrating.
Songbook pro
Awesome program for making a Christian songbook . Would recommend!
No tech support?
I’m trying to figure out to get SongbookPro to let me play along with a song out of my Apple Music library. The AI bot is not helpful at all. The tech support links don’t exist. I’m ok if I need to purchase the full version in order to get this feature to work. I would just like to know that the play along feature will work before I spend the money. Sorry for the negative review. It seems to be the only way to reach out directly to the developer.
Load Songs
It would be great to load in actual song tracks to practice with
Disappointing
For some reason, the MP3’s of the songs keep disassociating from the lyrics for the corresponding song. So I have to keep saving the songs to the lyrics again and again - frustrating, and embarrassing in the middle of a live set. I’m on a brand new iPad. Please fix. Then it’d be perfect. I’d welcome a conversation with the developers to try to resolve this issue.
Pas vraiment friendly user
Voila
Easy to use, tons of personalized settings
Great app used to use paper sheet music then i switched to song book pro. easy to use great for beginners
They are scam
They charged me without my intention and there is no place to cancel the payment or contact support, not recommended!
Really good overall
Really good value for what you get. Sometimes it loses sync or loses connection but if you restart it, it will pick it back up.
Stopped working
I had my whole repertoire in here in the paid version, it’s been awesome for 2 years. Suddenly it’s stopped “connecting to the store” and I can’t add anymore songs, restore my purchase, buy it again. No troubleshooting has worked and you can’t buy again or submit a help ticket on the website. I want to keep using it but it seems there’s no more functionality to fix bugs or any customer support
Huge battery suck
I’ve been using this app to gig for years and in terms of features etc it is fantastic. However, if you forget to close it and it runs in the background even with the screen off? Your battery will be dead in half an hour. It makes zero sense as to why it uses so much battery. Even 3d games being played doesn’t run the battery down as much, it makes no sense. Would love to see a fix
The key to my solo adventure
This app keeps me on track. At 50+ years old I can’t imagine how I could memorize all of these songs. Songbook Pro puts my whole catalog right at my fingertips. It’s easy to share across all of my devices, so I’m always ready for anything.
No longer working
I bought this app at the beginning of February so I could download ukulele chords for songs. As of today it is no longer working. I am peeved to say the least. Please advise how to fix the problem or I would like a full refund.
Leaving OnSong
I was an OnSong user for several years, but issues mainly with page turning, finally forced me to look for something else. Reviews led me to Songbook Pro stating that is pretty much bulletproof and reliable. The reviews were correct. Very happy so far. Keep up the good work!
great app
I like the way you have options of quickly transposing the key to any song. Occasionally any wrong chords or lyrics that are submitted can easily be corrected with editing.
It was good until the update…..
Just updated the app, and now it won’t find anything, or it finds it and then can’t open it….. disappointed….. can’t contact anyone, just goes around in circles
Exactly what a relatively new player needs
Excellent. I don’t usually write reviews but this app got me back into practicing guitar and was a big part of giving me the confidence to play and sing in front of people. The different keys and ability to capo are easy to use and are a Godsend. Thank you to the makers of this app
No working
This program will not enable me to download anything from the internet. I have happy using this app for years and now it won’t work it shows me as being unsubscribed but it won’t let me subscribe although I have been subscribed for at least a year
Bon produit
Great app, doesn’t have a sleep option so drains a LOT of battery in the background.
Would have given 5 stars except for a few niggles. The main one is battery draining when not in use. The other is, formatting of pages for colour coding doesn’t alway work well. At the moment, it won’t import any songs from ultimate guitar and NO IDEA why ! But really annoying.
Game changer
Where to start? All of my music, organized, easily edited, excellent resources and customizable. This app is an incredible value.
Now failed
This has been an excellent app but has suddenly failed and despite asking for help, I’ve had radio silence and can only assume the writer is no longer invested. Be aware before you rely on this. Great when it worked.
Used to be brilliant
So loved this app and now even with the latest version tweaks it can’t search properly or allow me to download music
No icloud synchronicity across devices
Great app BUT not so great for Apple use. My old set list app would synchronise from my phone to my iPad and vice versa. This songbook pro doesn’t have this ability which is a shame. I now have to start again on my iPad because the instructions for uploading files on the phone to iPad are not working and it’s taking a little of time trying. Why is it not made to synchronise across devices?? Also, this is my second time reviewing as the first time it never showed on here… was my review deleted?
AWESOME!!!!!!!
Wish you were around in the late 60’s would be better than using your LP trying to figure out cords and lyrics
That’s A Nope
Glad I tried it out before getting too far. Had nothing but trouble and all I’ve tried is copying and pasting. Formats and indentations all over the place and the app crashes repeatedly. Has also crashed my iPad twice now - I’ve been using it for 20 minutes and it’s being promptly deleted now.
Where are the minor keys?
Mostly happy but it’s a little frustrating that the app doesn’t appear to allow you to indicate minor keys.
What has happened to ultimate guitar search ?
Was a good app, you used to be able to search for songs on ultimate guitar website, however this has stopped working ? Sent email asking for help and why this search doesn’t work and this still hasn’t been resolved
Lost songs
I use SB PRO extensively but get frustrated when songs on my iPad disappear for unknown reasons. I have taken my iPad to a reputable Apple Store and they downloaded all of the songs onto another device then reloaded the songs. I still have the same problem.
