Loved this so much
I love this game so much because it was so immersive and interactive and just beautiful. It was comedic and super Duper emotional at the same time and I loved the beautiful message behind it.
Controls freeze!
Made it nearly to the end and the controls always freeze in a certain spot. I’ve tried troubleshooting and am so frustrated I’m canceling my subscription to the arcade. Save yourself some frustration and skip this one until they work out their glitchy game.

Great writing, frustrating gameplay
I was thoroughly enjoying the story, world building, sense of humor, and vibrant comic-inspired art style. Unfortunately, the gameplay has major flaws. First, the user interface is fiddly: it can be difficult to maneuver the camera into just the right spot to interact with an item, especially when the target is moving. Second, in classic point-and-click fashion, many elaborate, tedious steps are needed to accomplish mundane tasks. The last straw was an extended sequence of hacking moving robots to steal a poem, only to find my solution was not the intended solution and wasn’t working for some reason. These puzzles feel like filler that wastes my time without advancing the story. I’d rather skip to the exciting parts. Future adventure game developers, please take note of what not to do.
Great game - fatal bug
Fantastic, enthralling game with a great storyline. Unfortunately, there was a bug in the old history museum where a terminal wouldn’t rez and that kept the game from progressing at all. Super bummed that I couldn’t finish. Found no support on the website or a known patch.
Best Mobile story game I’ve ever played!!
This game was a blast to play!! It had a bunch of unique character and story and that got me hooked. I did not want to put it down and ended up beating the game in 2 days with 12 hours of game play time. It was such a good game that I sat back after finishing it and wondered what to do with my life. It hit so hard I had a reality crash.
Game froze where I couldn’t finish it
Was a really fun game and enjoyed the story it’s what I look for in games in the App Store but I made it to the end of the game and could tell I was reaching the end until it froze and I’ve tried to delete the app and redownload it thinking it would fix it but a month later getting back on it after it froze and it freezes the exact same place
Very nice plot, weak controls
The plot of the story is well written. The graphics remind me of games back from the early 2000s. Voice acting is not bad. The controls are horrible. To double tap to get him to run is a bit cumbersome. Plus, he runs slow. And walks even slower. You may as well have his run be the normal speed and have fast run be faster. Hope that makes sense. The controls are just awkward. The scanner use is a bit confusing. I have other minor issues with the game, but I would say the plot is the only thing keeping me playing. But I don’t know if it will keep me interested long.
Game does not save properly
The game is very interesting. I'm mad because I can't save the game manually. Even when I DO save it manually, it still doesn't save. I advanced SOOO far in the game and when I came back to play it, I'll have to pick up from where I left off.
The Loading time in between is horrendous
I loved the cinematic feeling of this game and the story is absolutely fantastic but it definitely needs optimisation

This game is fantastic. The perfect mix of retro and futuristic, so cinematic it’s like controlling a movie, and a genuinely great story. Don’t listen to the bad reviews.

Unfortunate bug
I was having a great time with this when unfortunately I encountered a game ending bug. In the scene where Jimmy the Thumbs has Robert’s hand trapped and is raising the cleaver, the empty bottle will not highlight. Only option is the dead fish. I’ve re-downloaded and also uninstalled and reinstalled several times: Nothing works. Seeing as there hasn’t been any activity on the game from the dev in at least 2 years, I’m not optimistic that the problem will be addressed. I’ve encountered this issue on other games in Arcade in the past and it’s one of the reasons I dropped it. The other major reason I quit is the limited types of games offered here. I really dislike shoot ‘em ups, match 3 and hidden object types. If they ever decide to expand their repertoire to include escape, mysteries, or puzzle games like House of DaVince, I would reconsider.
Two minor everyday/accessibility changes to make it 5-star
I am deaf. Here’s two accessibility buttons. I enjoy these games but 2 minor changes could possibly double the market for this game: (1) CHANGE 1: Speedup tap button for dialogs I read about 5x faster than I can listen (audio=painful) and I would like to skip lines of dialog faster, via tapping the dialog, or holding finger down on the dialog. Whether instant “Skip To Next Line of Dialogue” button, or a fast forward button with 2x-3x fast-forward (fast talking mode / fast-forward mode). (2) CHANGE 2: Tap location to move there Mobility impairment means it’s hard to use a touchscreen joypad. Other 3D aventures allow you to tap a location on the floor/ground, to automatically walk/run towards it. Many Telltale games did this. SUMMARY: Even non-disabled people would appreciate these changes too; these are changes the benefit everyone; like people who are too impatient to play a game at normal audio speed. (Even YouTube and Netflix has a speed-playback feature — and now existing audio playback APIs allows speeded-up playback with minimal programming changes — easier to program this feature than it used to be — I am a deaf software developer — sometimes it’s useful to read the closed captioning 2x-3x faster, as I can speedread 600-800 words per minute) These minor accessibility changes would make this game much more enjoyable. Please implement! Appreciated;

Stuck in a corner by the furnace
Was really enjoying this game but I walked down the side of the furnace in the industrial zone and now I can’t get out! As others have had similar problems and having already sunk about 6 hours into the game I think I’ll delete rather than start over. Shame, could have been a 5 star review.
Fantastic game but lots of crashes
I’d have given it 5 stars because I enjoyed it very much, however I had so many crashes after mid game and I had to redo puzzles many times which was frustrating. I am on iPad Pro M1. I got it as part of Apple Arcade and very was surprised by it. Wouldn't have bought it as never heard of it before it but now I would, am gonna buy Beneath the Steel Sky. Love the gameplay, love the story, love the puzzles. Would highly recommend this game!

Can’t even start the game
Just signed up for Apple Arcade, downloaded this game, launched it and can’t even press a single button. Doesn’t load. Terrible. This is a iPhone 14 pro max
Agenda 2030 Simulator?
Loved the original. The sequel is all too like real life is becoming in 2020. Maybe it should have been called Beyond 2020! Some of the puzzles are a little simple and prolonged, but it’s a worthy sequel of a classic.
If You Love Loading Screens
Play this. You’ll spend most of your time waiting for the game to load. If you like 10 or 15 minutes to wait or cook something instead of playing a game, get this one. You’ll be able to play for about 3 minutes, then when it’s time to move to another part of the game, you can set your phone down, make a nice home cooked dinner, come back and maybe play for another few minutes. Then, play for a minute until the next scene and go do some yard work and wash the cars while waiting to continue.

This is the best game I’ve ever played on a phone. This felt high quality and more like a console game. 10/10 They knocked it out of the park. There are no other apps that can compare.
App does nothing
Launches, but at new game/options/extras screen, nothing happens, just plays music. A tap on any of them just makes the white app switcher bar appear. 13 pro max ios16. App deleted.
Revolution: please make more
This game is exactly what is needed for arcade and consoles alike. Every since the heyday of Amiga and Pc gaming the games market has been missing games such as this and Broken Sword. For to long has this type of game been relegated to the PC market.... I look forward to other companies revisiting old classics and follow the lead of Beyond A Steel Sky
Disappointing!
I was enjoying this game until it got stuck on a bug where Leet was trying to hack my you chip in the recycling area
Low FPS on iPad pro
The game is great in terms of narrative. But I wished there was an option in settings where you can turn down the graphics or resolution to increase FPS. This game would have been 5 stars if it ran more smoothly.
LOVE IT! Like a PS2 game
I love this game! The story, graphics and gameplay feels like a ps2 game. This an morphite are my favor mobile games. I’ve never found a mobile game like this to play. The gameplay and story feels just like it’s a console game. I wish there were more mobile games like this!

Love the game BUT... BUGS!
I’m half way through playing this and the feel of the game and the storyline is great but there a definitely bugs, which let the game down. My hacker scanner icon has disappeared and when I tap the corner where it used to be, it doesn’t work. It’s seems to have shifted to somewhere so I’m having to blindly tap the general area of where it used to be. Makes things difficult especially when you need to hack something that’s moving and you can’t just tap an icon. Not sure how to go about getting it back 😩

This game has such a great in depth story and good graphics. The mechanics are great too. This game has been my go-to game for the past week.

I haven’t finished the game yet but I’m closing in on the conclusion now and I’ve honestly had so much fun playing. The writing is witty, some of the dialogue between characters is so sharp and genuinely made me smile. The controls can feel a little clunky at times but it hasn’t spoiled my enjoyment at all, and it’s really the only fault I could find with this game. Would definitely recommend!

Great, but...
A really enjoyable game. However it crashes pretty frequently on my old-ish iPad Pro. Most of the crashes were recoverable but currently can’t get past one that has happened three times, whenever I try to get to the monopod after donning the tuxedo and am intercepted by Songbird. Regardless of the choice I make with her, app crashes. Too bad as I was enjoying it otherwise.

Glitches ruined the game
I really enjoyed the game but had this glitch where I went in the lift at the party and there was no option to get out of the lift! Ended up deleting the game! Shame
One of the best!
It’s one of the best puzzle / adventure games I have played. Storyline, mini games and puzzles all great. Started on my iPhone then jumped to iPad and finished on my MacBook. Controls a bit clunky on all of the platforms.
Bugs!!
The game seems pretty cool. Reminds me the games when I was young. BUT I’m unable to progress since there’s a bug with ember... I’m unable to get the hacking device from her since she took the scanner and the finger and act like I’ve never give her. Well, now no more finger... and no device.
Great story, shame they forgot the puzzles
The 3D was a bit gimmicky at first, some elements worked better than others although the bugs on the camera and controls did get tedious after a while. Having played the original back in the day (Be Vigilant) looked forward to this and it started well, few tame puzzles, nice easter eggs, etc. About halfway through though the story took over from the puzzles and many elements, especially the final showdown, were just reminiscent of Dragons Lair type click to get through type affairs. Promising, and I also paid and played the updated version of the original. That was was better than this one. A for Story. C for Execution.

Please fix the bug/glitch
I have put so much time and effort into this game and now I have glitched in the museum I have done everything I can think of to get out of it but doesn’t work. Please fix it I don’t want to delete it again or start a new game again 😭😭
Far too much dialogue, not enough action
There are way too many exposition scenes and character dialogue without any real action. This game gets quite boring very quickly.
Great adventure...but crashes
Just the style of adventure that is great to play. Graphics are crisp and detailed and story has a good pace... but.. man this thing crashes on virtually every transition and as of this writing I cannot proceed to the aspiration gala as it always crashes no matter what.
