Been using alias to sell sneakers for a while and now they have other categories like trading cards and Pokémon cards and collectibles. Some luxury fashion and bags too. It’s nice you can see the pricing trends over time so you know how to list your items.
Terrible scam the sellers app
I have a quarter million dollars in sales with this company and since switching to alias they send my stuff to a bunch of mouth breathers in PA. Worst group of authenticators ever. Makes me never want to use Goat/alias again.

I won a pair of Yeezys of the Adidas Confirmed raffle. Then decided to sell on alias. When alias received my shoes, their “experts” checked them as fake….? Not only that, they then proceeded to charge me $50 for shipping back to me. Do not use this app. Complete garbage at their main job. Only slight positive is that the customer service was quick and efficient.
Please fix this issue
If i want to check the actual payout on a sneaker I would follow the steps to ‘list an item’ and then check the payout amount and leave. But when I leave the listing will be added to my ‘not listed’ list. Please add a function in which I can bulk select items to remove them from my ‘not listed’ list. I have over 4k not active listings and now I have to delete them one by one by hand.

The interface is a hot mess, it's not easy and it's almost defunct, nobody is paying these prices anymore they did years ago but their numbers just aren't right. Otherwise I would've made sales.

Fees are ridiculous
So they be great shoe on here and they rejected it and charged me $30 to ship it back. Ridiculous also if you list a shoe for $200 they mark it up to 220 the fees on here just insane.

Ich muss eine Zweifaktor Authentifizierung machen und es kommt die ganze Zeit eine Fehler Meldung??!! Ich habe die App gelöscht und wieder runtergeladen aber es hat nichts gebracht. Ich will meine sneaker Verkaufen aber das geht jetzt wohl noch. Ich bitte um Hilfe!!
Good app, Poor customer service.
The app is great, works well and is a good platform for selling shoes and apparel. However the customer service is poor. There is only one way to contact them and that is through submitting a ticket which so far has taken 5 days. The only response I have got is an autogenerated message saying that they are having delays in responding due to high volume of tickets. They need to have more than one way to contact them or make the system way more efficient than it is. It’s not good enough.

Uk seller price cap
Layout is great, looks user friendly but my gripe is the same as when using the GOAT app, UK seller prices are capped at $750. No good if you’ve got grails that’s sell for 3/4 times that amount. Makes no sense especially when other apps don’t have this price cap. This needs addressing ASAP. I would have tripe amount listed if this was corrected. Buyers are missing out!!

They scam!
Sold some Jordan’s 4s brand new in a box and shipped with UPS. Once they received my shoe they said they are replicas. So they return them to me after charging me $39 for return with a 3rd party shipping company called DHL. They will damage your box! Also they return a completely different shoe. I will be taking legal action

Hab die App auf drängen von Goat geholt zum resellen. An sich lässt sie sich gut bedienen, berechnet auch direkt den Betrag in Euro, den man nach allen Abzügen bekommt (auch mit Cash-out-fee). Beim auszahlen muss man seine Kontodaten angeben von der Bank, wenn man nicht in den USA ist. Auszahlungen über Paypal geht nicht mehr. Geld war bei den bisher verkauften Sachen schnell da (1-2 Tage). Finde den Zwang zum holen der App aber so unverschämt

Bad selling experience
I have been selling on Goat for years, then I switched over to Alias because it’s more seller friendly. It started off like normal until they asked me to submit my tax information again even though my account already had my tax documents uploaded on goat. It’s the same company. So I did anyway with the third party company they use (Persona), and thought all was good. Until a week later Alias writes to me again asking for tax documents as if I didn’t already submit it, this time saying my ability to cash out my money was frozen until everything was sent. I was surprised and angered, but I uploaded everything again for the second time hoping it was just an error. I got no confirmation that they received anything and my money was still frozen on my account. Alias doesn’t have a phone number that you can call if you need help, I guess they are too poor and can’t afford it, so the only way is through email. I wrote to them for help, and they respond at a snails pace. Eventually redirecting me to the tax department, I wrote to them and the tax team still hasn’t responded to me after multiple messages. My money is still frozen after two weeks! This has been a horrible experience with them. I wouldn’t take this app serious if you’re a serious seller. If you ever need help like me, you’ll be screwed for a while. Use StockX, or eBay for a more professional experience.

Sent in my first pair and got paid quickly. My second pair have been with them over a week and nothing. I sent an email and keep getting automated responses telling me they’re busy. Awful service, very disappointing.

Before the Goat update, I didn’t need this app. It’s useful now but buyers still can’t make offers which is annoying.

Do not sell using this scammy app
I tried selling two hoodies that were purchased from an authorized retailer and I had proof of purchase. Alias deemed these as replicas but didn’t provide any pictures or explanation as to how they came to that conclusion. So not only did I lose two sales, but I had to pay $30 to get my items back. Please don’t use this company. They’re lying and scamming people just to get them to pay fees. NEVER ship anything of value to them

Holding items hostage
They claim my supreme hoodie that I labeled as used with no original box was denied after “not matching product description.” I was not given a reason as to why it didn’t meet the description, only that I now owe them money to get it back. I tried emailing customer support and they email me back everyday saying “due to a high volume of requests…….. blah blah blah” their customer service is atrocious and the whole process felt very predatory
