Awesome but a bit short
This game is super fun but I beat in in a few weeks but you can always restart the game with your same stat or you may make a whole new save slot so over all great game

STAY AWAY FROM THE FULL GAME PURCHASE, YOU WILL GET SCAMMED! I’m a big fan of Bastion on console and was looking forward to having it on the go without having to carry a clunky portable console. After downloading the game and tapping on the purchase option the charge was made to my credit card but the game would not let me access the full version. After trying to contact Apple and the developers I went to a couple of forums to see if anyone have had the same issue as me, to my surprise I found out that it’s actually a fairly common glitch. But somehow it gets even worse, with many users claiming that neither Apple and the developers have any solutions to the problem and simply resort to pointing fingers at each other trying to blame the opposite party. What I and other users that had this same problem end up doing is simply asking for a refund because no one seems to want to fix this issue.
One of the best mobile games for RPG lovers and more!
So this game is an RPG game with some platformer aspects like for example, going through levels to get better loot and even though it’s old it’s art style and gameplay plus the combat is all incredible this is a 10/10 game that I highly recommend for mobile users and anyone who’s looking for a good mobile game and good story, plus the voice acting is the best of any game in my opinion (Atleast for the narrator) and even though it’s a. Older game the unique art style makes it feel like the graphics are not outdated AT ALL so please PLEASE get this game and give it a go! It’s so good that so far I don’t really want any updates (I don’t think they update the game though) since everything is near perfect (I don’t believe in anything being completely perfect but if I did I would say this is perfect.) So this is my favorite mobile game (plus as people get older the average mobile games where you are a Stickman fighting zombies or something starts to get boring FAST not saying that’s true for you but it’s true for me)
Weirdly poor, stuttery performance
Hades from these guys run far smoother, which is confounding. Been out of the Apple ecosystem a while. What happened to make these old games run so bad!?
Control problem
The gameplay is suitable to my favorite, one setback I hate about this game is the control system, it’s better if you add a move button to the bottom left of the screen and the hit button on the bottom right so that game will be easier for players to function

I’m going to be honest i randomly found this game on the App Store and I downloaded it for fun. The free version is what got me hooked. I normally don’t purchase a game outright but the story and graphics are the best Ive come across in a while. This game is worth the 4.99 I spent!

1 issue
I love the game so much.Cool fights,weapons and a lot more.there is one problem.I played the game for then minutes. my battery was down 10 to15 percent. Is there a way to fix that issue?pls let me know.
Great game, performance issues
On my base iPhone 15, I’m getting some serious frame rate issues. I’ve played through this game on other platforms and haven’t had this issue. Disappointed that this great game is borderline unplayable.
Middling Performance
Frame rate slows to a stuttering crawl when a plethora of enemies are on screen. Additionally, controller support is not fully implemented. Menus should be navigable without touch screen. Also, touchscreen buttons should be eliminated offscreen when controller is in use, which would limit the obscuring clutter onscreen. Poor formatting prevents this from being what would be an otherwise excellent experience.
Fantastic game
Love this game and for only the 1 time purchase I will follow and buy this companies games whenever I see them. The storyline is great, the gameplay is fun. And no IAPs!!!
Pay again?
Paid for this when it was somewhat new and one of the better apps featured…now asking me to pay to “unlock” full game. Do they do this thinking we don’t remember paying? Additionally it runs like trash on the 15 pro max…like very bad, an update is needed Or maybe they just beed more money?

The gameplay is fun, but the save system is unforgivable
I really enjoyed the gameplay without a doubt But it is honestly aggressively overshadowed by the egregiously bad auto save system Just look online for people having save problems and you will know what I mean. It is EXTREMELY easy to lose hours of progress and tons of people have. The real challenge in the game is making sure you don’t lose progress and waste your time due to it not allowing you to save and the ineptitude present in the implementation of the auto save system. I would normally give one star for such a fatal game ruining error, but the gameplay is fun so I’ll give it one extra star, even if the taste is so bad in my mouth I haven’t wanted to open the game again. For the people being charged twice or being resold the game, don’t be afraid to sail the seven seas and play on PC. If a company is going to screw you over screw them back.

I finished the game. Didn’t play it for a long time. Then i wanted to play again. I needed to pay 5.99 (or was it 4.99)again. Although it saved all my weapons which is dumb because it should save the full game. But its overall fun. I think it SHOULD save the full game if its gonna save my weapons. But like I said its fun.

One of the most overrated games I have played, it is over priced for such a simple game and I do not recommend.
Great game with unfortunate bugs
The gameplay and art style is great. I have however experienced some lag and achievements are not granting on completion. I’m currently playing through NG+ and still don’t have the achievement for story completion -_-
Priorities
So, this was a free game, but now your charging us $5 to play a game we already had. What’s going on? This game was better free, but now you’re gonna lose people because we lost all our data and now have to buy it.

So I’ve had this game ever since it became available on the Apple App Store, bought it one time and that was it. Coming back to it now, I now no longer own it. What changed to revoke my access to the FULL GAME I PURCHASED? Why do I need to RE-PURCHASE something I’ve already bought? Apple you SERIOUSLY NEED to double down on YOUR App Store. There are blatant frauds going on. Do not hurt the ACTUAL GAME DEVELOPERS. I LOVE THIS GAME! I love the developers of this game! Do right by them!

Great game, but not so great of a port
Bastion is great - a debut title from one of my personal favourite independent developers. It’s a fairly basic, but well designed action-RPG game. It’s a story driven adventure, with handcrafted levels, weapons and item placement. The adventure lasts for about 6 hours and is well worth it. A fairly simple gameplay is elevated by wonderful art and soundtrack and great writing and VO. So why only free stars? Because playing it on any other device is a better idea - any potato PC can run Bastion, and you will be better of playing it that way. While Bastion has partial controller support, the port seems to be done from before that was an option - as such game’s controls were gutted to accommodate touch screen controls. Playing with a pad feels unresponsive, and control scheme is very impractical - you also can’t navigate menus with it. I also have some doubts regarding including content (just started, and there are some changes from the original, which might suggest cut content - I need to investigate further to be 100% sure). Overall, great game, but if you can, play another version of it.
Second only to Transistor
I love this game so much. I played it first years ago when i was in the hospital and my dad said hey play this. Ever since my passion for this game and all the others made by Supergiant have had my heart. The story, the gameplay, and most importantly The Music. By god the music. Darren Korb knows how to make such beautiful music. So thank you Supergiant for making this masterpiece for me to enjoys years after. Even if my heart belongs to Transistor just a bit more.
wanted to like it
This game was recommended to me by a friend when it first came out but I never had a chance to play it. After playing and loving Hades I decided to go back and give this a try. Unfortunately it’s just not fun. The controls don’t make any sense, damaging or receiving damage is the same color, switching between weapons is awkward and so on. Maybe it was better on a console, but on mobile it’s not a good game.

Don’t buy on iPad
Seemed like a super fun game. Then it prompted me to buy it, and I did. I can’t progress past that screen and the developer won’t fix it. Don’t buy.

Huge bug, can’t play the game I paid for twice, game is unsupported
Would normally rate this game with 5 stars but after previously purchasing the game in years past I was asked to pay for the game again. When I did so I was billed a second time and now am trapped in a restart loop where I can only play the first level of the game over and over. Supergiant doesn’t support this game anymore which is disappointing since they still sell it. Apple support couldn’t help me either - they just deferred to the app developer. Anyway given these circumstances I do not recommend buying this game from the App Store. I also don’t support Supergiant billing people a second time for games they have already purchased - seems shady!

Wont let me restore purchase or unlock
Look. I wanted to play the game so bad that I reentered my password to pay for it again. Luckily it said already purchased, but wont let me play past the first phase and it doesn’t unlock. I would like a refund. Its only $5, but it still stings. The game is good, got me excited to play and now im just angry.

I purchased this game for $4.99 with the in app purchase and it simply does not work. I followed their support page instructions but it still doesn’t work.
Looks like 360p resolution.
Great game, but graphics quality is very poor on the iPad Pro 13”.

Base free part looks interesting if a bit short. However, trying to purchase the full game doesn’t unlock the game even though the purchase is showing up in the app store.

Stuck
I paid the 4.99 one time fee, but the game isn’t let me past that screen it just keeps having me start a new game all over again which I have several times and keep getting stopped at the in app purchase screen. Fix this issue and I’ll change my star rating for the app. Update: They put out a fix and it worked great no more in app screen. Love this game for its simplicity.

Full game doesn’t work. Get stuck at the end of chapter 1 in an endless cycle of unlock the game $4.99, oh but you own it, stupid. Now I need to figure out how to get my money back.

Tech Issues on my IPad Pro
I truly do love this game having played it on a different platform. Wanted to replay it on my IPad Pro and the frame rate drops make it almost impossible at times. Shame as it’s such an awesome game.
Classic game. Terrible performance.
Classic game with excellent art style, music, and gameplay. Unfortunately, the game is marred by terrible intermittent pauses during both loading and regular gameplay. Makes the game very difficult to enjoy. Played on iPad Pro 10.5 (2nd generation). Five stars, without the performance issues.
