Great strategic game
For ppl who don’t know it, it’s 2 lane (mostly) pvz on NIGHTMARE DIFFICULTY! Lots of different units with different skills, and operator’ skills almost never repeat (6 stars only considering hung and nearl) Not enough faction buffs tho, there should be an operator who gives faction buffs in every single large faction, not just a few like silverash and vakaris. Last thing: ALTER MOUNTAIN!!!!!!!!!! <3
This game would be good if it wasn’t tower defense.
I like the character designs and the ui but I would’ve preferred any other gameplay but this since I’m bad at tower defense. Hopefully Arknights: Endfield will be better.

Acquiring Update Forever
I’ve played this before, it’s pretty good. Hence not giving it one star. This was in 2022, I can’t comment on the current state of the game because despite having an iPad with 13gb space and an iPhone with 30gb space, neither can get past the mandatory update when you first download the game. iPad keeps skipping back to around 50% of the download until it runs out of storage and iPhone just gives up on “Hardware error” at around 75%. Have replicated this process four times now, so it’s either busted or doesn’t like iOS.

Recent event is atrocious where you have to manage tiles and having enemies that are an utter nuisance to deal with or outright rage inducing. Other users brag that it’s easy but it’s mostly them having access while others such as I don’t have them. Support doesn’t count due obvious reasons. I highly doubt whoever thought it was a good idea to make some of the stages outright unfair or being for hard for hard sakes even thought of it through besides surface level playtesting.

300 pity on banner, good units all round, not very beginner friendly. I’ll stick to other tower defence games
Often kicks me out
I played the game and I love the characters, the stories, and the game mechanism. There’s just some problem I’ve been often dealing with and that is that the game keeps kicking me. It could be my data, but it didn’t have happened to the rest of the games I have. I think there should be a lower quality options for players who have problems like I’m having. Overall, the game is good.

I’ve played this game for quite some time it’s really good, I just can’t help but notice there are hundreds of operators in this game all diverse with there own stories so clearly your cable of it but on the other hand you can literally count with one hand the amount of poc there are in the game it just seems a shame when this game has shown how good it is at creating different characters
Game keeps crashing after thorns event
I've played arknights since launch and never ever had any issues playing on my 9th gen ipad. But the most recent character events have made it that my game crashes almost anytime I do stages. Now I've done everything I could on my end, even a hard reinstall and still, crashing. It's disheartening that even with my ios updated to the latest I still can't fully complete a stage without being kicked out. I enabled all the options for lower end graphics and still! I really don't want to have to not play anymore but this is seriously bumming me out.

This game is really fun, the character designs look so good and like they cane right out of an anime. I love the banners and the art.
Bad experience
Kept quitting unexpectedly on iPad
Amazing game (base operations is not)
It’s still difficult to manage the base, that’s if you are focus on upgrading the operator and finding which role is used for (in base). It should be categorized by sub description example. instance battle records, precious metal, Ori- and ect (that goes for all stations) also you should be able to click the operator which you already can do, but go to that character menu from there. Other then that it’s a chefs kiss I would rate this a 9/10 since that’s my only gripe about it
Feedback on deaf ears
Arknights is split released with a 6 month delay from the actual china server. This results in negative hype and 2nd hand experience when features arrive to global. 1) We will hear about exciting news and events but wait 6 months to enjoy it which will be dull by then 2) Critical gameplay feedback will not reach chinese devs and your feedback is simply ignored 3) Translated tutorials and story are bottom barrel. Literally nobody wants to read their guides or story and they never revise it. Ak sales are dropping rapidly yet they think endfield will solve that problem. They’re bound for doom if they keep this up.
Great game but just way too big
The games just getting too large to comfortably have on my phone, they really need to put this on PC or Consoles with how big its getting.

Bloons TD but costs $100s minimum.
Want a good character? Too bad, the devs made sure to put an expensive gambling wall to make sure you don’t get that character that is “rate up”. This is a casino that takes advantage of powercreep and low rates. It’s a deceiving practice that shouldn’t be tolerated in games. This is a casino and it should be treated as such.

Doesn’t Fail to Amaze
The only Gacha game I have installed and has been on my phone ever since. If you like tower defense, this game is a must try. Cool mechanics, events, characters. Power creeping exists but doesn’t really affect the enjoyment of this game. You can use whoever you want and it’s PvE. So many game modes and endgame content. Plus, it’s very free to play friendly.

Lack of QOL
No auto-repeat, no dialogue skip in single-summons and recruitment and the translation is a bit wonky. A shame because I loved the TD gameplay and operators’ art
Good game overall
Good gacha,guarantees at least a 5star in less than 60-70 pulls,skins are F2P. Only hard part is that they should definitely make it so that starters can earn more originum not just from storyline winces it’s not really that consistent considering the difficulties of some levels that requires specific units. Other than that,it’s solid 7/10

Boring after a while
I gave the story a chance but so boring and predictable. I can’t even take these characters seriously with all these dumb animal ears on every single one. Then the progression is so slow. It takes forever to get anything new. You’ll have a huge influx of heroes at the start and a roster full of 4 stars 5 star and 6 star and then after that nothing. Rewards are garbage and getting any type of currency to buy any new heroes is non existent. Gameplay is so boring after a while and can’t even auto play. So you’ve to do everything yourself. Then if you want to farm previous levels, even after you beat it with 3 star, you don’t just instantly get rewards and the game auto clears, nope the entire level replays and you just have to wait 5 minutes while the game just replays what you did. What’s the point? I don’t need to see this. I just want the rewards. So instead of insta clearing or auto playing levels like some of these good idle games, here you’ve to wait 5 mins for 1 level to complete. Deleted after 10 hours
Was good but getting more cash grabby
Used to be good with a lot of free materials and a strong limited operator once a year or so. Now OP operators are being released every 2-3 months to entice players to cash in.
Genuinely the best mobile game I’ve ever played
I don’t normally write reviews (I’m sure you can check my account to see that) but I’ve been playing this game since 2023 and I seriously do not think there is another game out there that does what Arknights does. It’s tower defense gameplay makes you really critically think about what you are having to do and how to beat each of the stages and the units that you are facing. The roguelike mode gives you “season pass” esque rewards and there are currently 5 different roguelikes within the game that do not cost any “sanity” or energy to play and go through. It gives you rewards for playing through them and utilizes the units you have to further incentivize building the units you don’t normally use. I don’t think there’s any way I can fully express how fantastic this game really is, if you’re a fan of tower defense, there is genuinely no other game that comes close to how great this game is. Not even bloons imo.

It’s good graphic n design but definitely not new player friendly
This my experience from playing 2 days. 1. I’m too lazy to find and tap character to use skill, can’t it be put on top of character? 2. Character skills are not eyes appealing, can’t we have a short animation upon using skill? Especially some unique skill for 5-6*, what’s the difference between 4*,5*,6* with 3* if all of them doesn’t have animation at all. Just a talents/codes differences? Though I want to hear more of the Japanese voice line. 3. Why 3* is actually stronger than 4*,5*,6* at least in early game? What’s the point of gacha for them? I drawn 6* but knowing that it’s far weaker than 3* cuz I need a lots resources n those are gated by lvl. If u put same amount of resources into 3*, act they are stronger than 4*,5*,6*, higher star just means the got higher ceiling. Please, please, make a difference between them. Only in this game, really, I played a lot and only in this game, 3* stronger than 6* .... 4. Upon playing this game for 2-3 hours, ull know that enemies are too strong, n u don’t have resources to lvl up, n u can’t experience the eyes appealing graphic n voice line. All u had is frustration n accomplishment of completing the challenge, then what’s the difference between 2021 game with retro game? If all we got the same.

Better than genshin
Was five star for 5 years till they told long time fans they’re not eligible for the endfield beta.
They literally chose random people who know nothing about Arknights for the endfield beta over long time fans…. Yeah some appreciative company y’all are rather blow a bunch of streamers instead of giving the slots to people who actually care about the game.
Seriously difficult but fun
I have played games like StarCraft 2, and WarFrame, and seen other Tower Defence type games. This is an original for a game. It’s incredibly difficult (saying this as a new player) and hearing people in discord talk about how they can afk endgame content with meta builds… makes it interesting to grind for characters in hopes of achieving that level of carefree afk endgame content
Dull
The gameplay is simply extremely dull. It is essentially a tower defense game but like many gacha games, it is very grindy. Especially when grinding for the premium currency for gacha, the match takes forever to complete. Using the auto-deployment helps but you can only double the speed (and is horribly inconsistent). The game has no interaction. The base feature is also completely pointless. Adding too many gimmicks just dampens the appeal of each feature. The game is just extremely lackluster, the story isn’t too bad but isn’t memorable. The plus points for the game would be nice character design and guaranteed 5 star with your first 10-pull (gacha is still as predatory as ever for 6 stars).
Great But…
It’s great. I love the game and it’s highly addictive! Great fun! However the auto deploy somehow makes mistakes when i’m grinding for supplies leading to mission failures. I don’t want to sit there for an hour watching over the auto deploy when I can get things done around the house. If there is a way to fix this that’d be great!
