Love grommr
I love this app a lot and met a lot of guys on here, the ones that are actually my type, the big large guys. Wish we could send videos on messages instead of just only pictures. That’s my only suggestion. Other than that, I love this app so much!

NEEDS A MAJOR UPDATE!
This app/website needs a redesign, new policies and honestly they need to hire more people. I’ve mostly go on Grommr to meet new likeminded members of the community, but I feel like we’re limited to a lot of things, and it’s frustrating… I tried blocking a certain person on the app and it gave me a limit on who I can block, it’s ridiculous and it defeats the purpose of the “Block Button”, if something like this continues to have it’s issues more and more people when choose to complain and then people start deleting the app! It’s now year 2025 and we haven’t changed a thing and it makes no sense! Things I’d recommend changing for the better of the app/website. 1) New Designs more pleasing to the eye, and easier to guide around. 2) Change the freaking policy, it’s outdated and it’s time to make better change to things, make things make more sense cause we are getting new people each day! And times are completely new! 3) FOR GOD SAKE, ADD VIDEOS! Makes no sense, people wanna see videos on here it’s time we change that… 4) Payment plan, what is this plan entail, we need give more options for the free plan it’s okay to give a little more! And finally LET PEOPLE PROMOTE THEIR STUFF… Promoting other apps and websites is okay! It’s how people make their money. I really hope that someone sees this, and hopefully this give Grokio/ Grommr and opportunity to make better changes, cause I know for a fact they want more people on this app/ website! You want people to feel welcomed, not limited.
No back button
The new iPad app is missing a back button, which makes navigation difficult. When I tap on a photo or profile in a feed or people gallery, there’s no way to return to the previous screen. The only option is to use the left-side menu tabs, which sends me back to the very beginning of the feed or gallery instead of returning to where I was. As a result, the app becomes frustrating to use and I’m more likely to switch to using the website in a browser. The phone app includes a back button, so this feels like an inconsistency between versions.

No real app update in years
the cashgrab is real y’all… the app UX is poor at best. I wish i didn’t take a million taps/clicks to everything. Search function is trash. this app could easily be redesigned to be something more like twitter or IG but we’re paying y’all for crumbs of updates. Editing profile photos. Don’t waste your time
If you plan on having a conversation with yourself then this is the app for you. The people are stuck up, no one replies. Once in a while you’ll get a response but the minute you say anything that has to do with the kinks, it’s nothing but crickets. Defeats the whole point of this app.
More sub sectors
Would love to see more catagories of furry specials on ferzu.
Just Okay
I mean granted this is the only specific app for the gaining community, but there’s so much potential here only to be neglected. Global posts are filled with people unwillingly bringing you into their own kinks with no ability to unfollow. You can only block but you only have 30 of those. No top or suggested posts either so you are missing out on anything that could be big or relevant. The search system is pointless and you can’t search images via tags. Search only lets you find posts, but tags still work in images? So confusing. Plus it only lets you go back a few months as well so good luck finding anything before that. It’s like an app that is stuck in the past at this point. The sites been around for 12 years now and I really wish things would keep up to times. I still pay to support the community but honestly I don’t know what I’m paying for at this point if there are no improvements being made.

Dont waste your time
I can’t speak for every community on this app, but i will speak on feabie. Its legitimately the worst place you can go if this is a kink you genuinely want to explore with yourself and someone else. Terribly stuck up people if they’re legit, and if they aren’t? Prepare to be scammed, lied to, and generally played for a fool. Im convinced the “moderators” don’t give a damn about anyone who uses this app, in fact, I’m convinced they’re helping scam the users. A joke of a “community” and the sooner feabie is deleted from the internet the sooner we can move on and create something better. I implore anyone interested in this app to look elsewhere, and if you’re considering returning from a previously deleted account just dont. Nothing has changed.

Good at First, but Too Many Toxic Members
I had signed up for Ferzu and downloaded the Grokio app, and the Ferzu community was at first friendly and welcoming, and I did make maybe one or two friends, but then the toxicity ensued when I posted an innocent AI-generated profile pic, in which case I received endless harassment from anti-AI art furries. I reported one of them who made a malicious remark, but the admins did nothing, and I ultimately deactivated my account and deleted the app. Would not use again unless the admins promise real change and enforce the law.

⭐ App Review: Grokio I downloaded Grokio thinking it would be a fun, community‑driven space. What I actually got was an app that feels like it was coded during a power outage by someone using a trackpad covered in syrup. 🐢 Performance The app loads with the enthusiasm of a sloth on its lunch break. Every tap triggers a 5–10 second delay, giving you plenty of time to reflect on your life choices and reconsider why you opened the app in the first place. 🔋 Battery Drain I opened Grokio for four minutes and my phone battery dropped 20%. I’m convinced the app is either running a secret space program or trying to tunnel into the Earth’s core. 🎨 Interface The UI looks like it was designed by three different people who never met each other. Buttons float in random places. Menus overlap. Half the icons look like they were borrowed from clip art packs labeled “miscellaneous shapes.” 🔔 Notifications Grokio sends notifications like it’s trying to win a competition. Examples include: • “Someone might have looked at your profile” • “You haven’t opened the app today. Why” • “We added a new feature. We think. Come check” It’s like being nagged by a needy robot. 🧩 Features The app advertises “community engagement tools,” which apparently means: • A feed that refreshes itself every 30 seconds for no reason • A messaging system that crashes if you type more than two sentences • A search function that returns results unrelated to anything you typed I searched for “Los Angeles” and it showed me three people in Ohio and a picture of a dog. 💥 Stability The app crashes so often it should come with a seatbelt. Love it but only two downsides one is the notifications don’t work right and secondly when messaging someone I can’t see what I’m typing when typing I have to stop typing make the keyboard go down to see what I’ve been typing if you could fix these two things it be perfect in my eyes

Outdated app with biased moderation
The app feels outdated and hasn’t really evolved much over time. The interface and overall experience feel quite old compared to similar platforms today. What’s more concerning is the moderation. In my experience, it doesn’t feel neutral at all. I’ve seen situations where users get involved in political arguments, and instead of keeping things balanced, moderation seemed to take sides. I personally experienced being targeted after expressing conservative/republican views, and instead of handling the situation fairly, moderation appeared to defend the other users involved. There also seems to be a lot of ongoing drama on the platform that isn’t really managed effectively, which makes the overall environment feel less welcoming and inconsistent. Overall, the concept of the app is good, but the execution and moderation standards really need improvement if it wants to feel fair and modern.

Lack of updates is disappointing
The platform serves a good purpose of connecting a community, but the app itself is severely outdated and in desperate need of modernization. There are many basic features (tagging a user, embedding a video, transparent moderation and user management policies and procedures, etc.) that haven’t been updated since the app was launched over a decade ago.
These changes are awful
I’m a user of ferzu. I love the community I’ve found on there, and this update is negatively affecting that community in major ways. You advertised this change primarily with the positive of no more limits on full size photos, only to completely remove the ability to see photos full size in your feeds without premium. You changed the profiles so everyone can only have 12 pictures visible at a time without premium on a site full of artists and people who work in visual mediums. 30 was hard enough to deal with but that was still better. Comments on posts are hidden behind multiple menus now. The profiles are harder to navigate. The menus are harder to navigate, I can’t even figure out how to get backyard o the main non ferzu page. This is an awful, anti-user update and something needs to give if you want to keep the community you have. News flash, forcing aspects of normal usage behind a paywall doesn’t make us want to buy premium, it frustrates us into leaving your platform.

A place to see the people that want to add u and a place to except the people for the private pictures because right now I can’t find any ones that’s wanting to see him and not only that you should maybe add on like hard comments for when people comment on something so that we actually know that it was a comment it doesn’t look like they just like some thing because right now it just looks like everything’s the same

Why is there not a notification bubble when you get a message? I miss soo many messages cos notification comes up but cos there is no bobble I forget it’s there

The app helped me to understand myself in ways I never imagined possible. The site also helped me find my now partner who shares the same experiences and interests as me. This app is perfect for anyone wanting to learn,share, and experience their identity and culture.
Don’t purchase a premium account
Unless you want them to take your money, not activate the premium features, and then never respond to you, don’t purchase a premium account. The downsides of not buying the premium? Limited picture views, limited ability to send messages. Worthless.

I think this is a great app to make new friends and socialise with further people. The only thing I find difficult about the app is the location settings when I change from one of the different groups I have to always put in My Location otherwise I have made some great friends, but haven’t had the chance to meet up yet
I wrote a honest review but it didn’t appear
Not a good app for socializing just trying to get social media not a good app for posting pictures and it doesn’t work good in the instant messaging. Client pretty much fails that everything’s intend to do can’t really do adult content cause the rules are garbage that don’t actually improve anything and the only thing more pathetic than the app is paying for the lack of function. They can’t make the app work without you paying for it shouldn’t pay for it to get marginally better spend that money on anything else.

Safe place, fair rules, good communication with support.
I think this a good social media platform for furries and other LGBTQ+ communities and their rules are fair and reasonable. Also, I had my account blocked or something like that and the developer support was incredible and easy to follow! Recommended this platform to try out!
Extremists and terrorist supporters
They banned my account for posting the truth that the United Kingdom is covering up serious child rape gangs and then called it intolerance! They violate your first amendment rights just because they are a private run company
I love this community
But this mobile app has so many bugs. I scroll photos and it pops out. I click one picture and it tells me to update my plan (I’m already an XL member) I’m having issues with the app in general. I’ve deleted and reinstalled twice since getting the app. Sorry to leave this review but I’m getting over the bugs.
I get kicked out when filtering some parts of my preferences
When I press done after putting down max height, and kinks and interests in the preference filter on Ferzu using Grokio, the app kicks me out.
