Unnecessary App
Unhelpful… requires excessive communication to make changes with amendable booking. They are happy to keep your money if your changes don’t work out. Book directly with ferry company instead.

Sorted out my issue with ease and efficiency
App does not work
Scam: said I could change my ticket two hours before departure yet the app would not let me do it tried to contact life-support and they did not respond until we were in the two hour window and then refused to make the change or refund me!

Straightforward and easy to use
Downloaded this app recently to book a ferry trip whilst on holiday abroad. Found it straightforward and easy to use with the lowest prices I could find. Much like ‘Trainline’ for ferry’s
Appalling
No customer service number. And from talking to the operator it turns out we have paid for something we cannot use (cclub access) as it is full. Bloody scam.
Too many different numbers, codes etc.
I am still trying to figure out how to get my ticket on my mobile… everything is too confusing - too many different numbers I have to fill in. Haven’t found the right one yet. To get Wifi on the vessel you need a code I can’t find anywhere neither. Probably it’s not possible, but even THAT information would help… frustrating

I made a mistake on my booking, and the support was really easy to use, and fixed my mistake in minutes. Great app
3rd Party Booking with no Support
After my original vessel was cancelled I attempted to arrange for another ferry with zero support from Openferry. This will cost several hundred more dollars to book directly with the ferry operating company.

Didn’t get offered the lounge as an option which our travel buddies did when they were booking direct with Brittany ferries. can’t upgrade which is odd as most companies desperate to sell you more. Can’t communicate with the companies ! Just dreadful to deal with and no customer support after care.

CON ARTISTS!! I clearly put my destination port on my booking, like you would when booking a flight etc, only to find after I paid & when I received my booking details they had changed the port from Belfast to Larne!! I got in touch immediately to ask why this happened & asked them to change it… they wouldn’t refund or change it.. just a way of scamming people! £160 of of pocket & all they said was they always list alternative routes! So if I put in my booking days & destination to one place, they show you another that’s 9 hours away!!! Insane. Not only that, wont refund or change minutes after booking & taking your money… I will be contacting trading standards!
Buggy? Poor service? Both?
The more recent updates have been full of obvious bugs such as bookings disappearing and more recently support tickets just vanishing from the account. I’ve created 4 tickets to request a cancellation and refund and although a couple lasted long enough to get a response (and agreement to cancel and refund), all 4 eventually vanished randomly without any explanation or feedback. Leaves me wondering if it’s a person making the support ticket disappear (to preserve revenue) or whether the app has bugs causing the support tickets to disappear. Also, the message input on support tickets misses spellcheck and correction options on the iPhone. All in all, a poor experience. May have to get a chargeback from my credit card provider if this continues longer.

Very intuitive! We needed to change our tickets a few days before and it was all done online without any hassle. Recommend if travelling to Greece
Beware!! Tourist Gougers
I requested a change of port of departure and they quoted me $70 for the service. The tix were only $100, it was a month out, and it only cost $10 to cancel them on the app. Don’t give your money to an organization that will take advantage of you!

Booked ferry. App doesn’t work
When you make a reservation a q code shows up. “Scan the QR code to automatically add your booking to the app”. Nope. Doesn’t work. No way to put my reservation on my phone on the app or in wallet. Need to print a hard copy.
Best booking app I’ve ever used
Book and get e-tickets. I accidentally booked the wrong dates and the support team refunded and issued an e-voucher within minutes..
Very buggy.
Etickets get constantly deleted and you’re required to check in again and again. I wouldn’t rely on it in future
