Just the guide we needed
We are just finishing up a two week trip to Italy and found this guide the most useful. It geo locates so you can figure out what you are looking at and how to get to what you want to see. The information shared adds to your experience. We ended up using it at the archeological museo nazionale in Naples over their audio guide the museum provided. Same with Pompeii. Also used it for the walk through Naples and it truly delivered. We saw more with this guide than we would have otherwise.
Rome Pantheon
Audio Guides were very low quality and took a long time to download. Should have informed us we could have done it before we went, or while we were standing in the so called Fast Track that took twenty minutes. Disappointed. Poor use of technology
Cheaper than official audio guide
Downloaded app for free. You then buy specific guides. I got Herculaneum and a free one. Initially app kept crashing trying to open guide but eventually, after re downloading, it worked. Really good and informative with live map showing where you are. Contacted customer help who were really good. They replied but I didn’t have WiFi so only picked up once home. They would have refunded and had tried to call but I missed it. Overall, good app, great customer service so what’s not to like?
Good explanations for Pompeii but really bad app
NOT recommended. This app gives good explanations of the sights at Pompeii and has a good map of all the sights and highlights. What sucks though is that every time you move away to another app (say Google maps for directions) the app defaults to the home screen, which means you have to find your specific guide again, go to it’s start screen, then open the map and navigate to the sight that you want an explanation of. If you are offline, you can add 20 seconds to that process while the app tries to open all possible guides it offers and can’t do it. You can download the Pompeii guide for offline use and you can access it offline, but every time you go through this startup process again. VERY frustrating and so I cannot recommend this app.

Instable audio voice
Great audio guide with google maps synchronization
This app was just what I needed for a leisurely walk through Herculaneum. Photos help you make sure you’re in the right place, the audio guide is clear and succinct, or you can use the transcript. My favorite feature was the ability to see the available locations on a map (or in google maps) with my location so I could easily navigate to each place. The only improvement for future versions would be to add tracks more locations but I saw only a few places IRL that didn’t have audio tracks in the app. There were some negative reviews so I felt I was taking a chance, but I’m glad I did. Overall a very well done app!
Download the recordings the same day that you go
Thought I was smart to download all of the recordings the night before we went to Pompeii, but they don’t seem to work after some period of time has elapsed. It would no longer recognize what I had already downloaded. And then, of course, it wasn’t possible to download 84mb in the middle of the archeology site. So it ended up being a major fail. I don’t know why you don’t get the entire download forever when you purchase each individual guide.

App appears to be unfinished
Only occasional features inside the Herculaneum have information in this app. While all the Roman buildings have numbers on them that presumably work with a rented audio guide gadget, this app doesn’t connect with these numbers. The descriptions against map features are all upside down. When Chinese Simplified language is selected, the Chinese text is garbled with strange nonexistent characters in between words.
Ottima ma da migliorare
Siamo stati ad Ercolano, le audio guide costano circa o 8€ a persona, così ho scelto di scaricare direttamente dal cel (anche per igiene non toccare oggetti usati da decine di turisti ogni giorno). Contiene al suo interno le guide di tutti i musei e luoghi di interesse culturale d’Italia, tutto in un’unica app! (ogni guida ha un costo singolo, in questo caso Ercolano 1,99€) Uniche due pecche: 1) spiegazioni troppo ridotte rispetto a ciò che dicono le guide ufficiali (a stento dite 30 sec) 2) alcuni punti di interesse (segnati invece sulla mappa di Ercolano e visitabili) non ci sono Bisogna aggiornare
Finalmente
Un comodo modo per conoscere meglio la nostra città… Un’app puntuale e recensioni dettagliate…Dire che a pagamento per i pochi euro spesi e la continua fruibilità forse è esagerato!!!
Useless app
Absolutely useless app. The only good thing about it is good audio however you can’t listen to your audio guide without internet connection even if all files have been pre-downloaded previously. There is no WiFi in pompeii so unless you have good mobile coverage there is no point using this app

Well done app to visit Pompeii. It's a magical experience, walking and listening to the stories, the anecdotes from this beautiful voice. The feeling I had was that of living history at that moment. Logging into the site and starting the explanation is also very simple.

The audio app was not working and I was not being helped . Very poor…. Will never buy again from this company.

Outdated
This app obviously doesn’t work alongside Herculaneum. Content is outdated including stuff that isn’t open and not including the majority of numbers around the walk which was disappointing that I paid 4 euro at the advice of the info centre outside the station. Also their contact form doesn’t work so good luck for me getting a refund.

Non acquistate!
Ho scaricato l’app per la visita guidata della reggia di Caserta. I 6 euro peggio spesi della mia vita. Praticamente una descrizione audio di quello che stavo guardando, letto da una voce femminile melensa che ogni tanto diceva frasi del tipo: “non è meraviglioso?”. Insomma un esempio di come non fare un’Audi o guida! Non acquistate!
Pochi euro spesi benissimo
Volendo visitare gli scavi di Ercolano ed il Vesuvio ho cercato sullo store se ci fosse qualcosa di buono . Ho provato le demo di quest’ app e mi è’ piaciuta . Sono stato sabato e domenica ed è’ stata un ottimo compagno di visita. Sopratutto agli scavi sarebbe stato difficile capire e vedere bene le varie case senza questa guida. Difficilmente scrivo recensioni o do consigli ma vedendo altre persone ad Ercolano che magari dopo ore di viaggio hanno colto davvero poco di quello che stavano guardando mi va di suggerirla Dimenticavo ho usato il viva voce e quindi L’ abbiamo usata in 2 : doppio risparmio , considerato che ci è’ costata 4 euro totali in 2 mentre L’ audioguida venduta sul posto costa 8 euro a persona

Extremely buggy, it was completely unusable. Some time il would freeze, sometimes it crashes no matter what. Searching doesn’t work well. And the 1 out of 10 times it doesn’t crashes if you lock your phones it stops.

It won’t download the purchased guides ahead of time. So many bugs. At Ercolano they have weak WiFi on site but it also didn’t work well and crashed. Too bad. I really wanted an audio guide and it wasn’t worth the €2.

Non all’altezza del prezzo richiesto!
Il GPS non é assolutamente studiato bene in quanto molto impreciso. I punti disponibili sono meno della metà di quelli che negli scavi sono effettivamente te visitabili, infatti di molti punti di interesse non c’è traccia. Non é possibile effettuare una prova decente prima di decidere se acquistare perché dopo appena pochi secondi di riproduzione audio si blocca e ti propone l’acquisto. Per farmi spendere 3,99€ dovreste farmi capire un po’ di più!
