1 star because I want to love this game but it’s impossible to play without sacrificing everything I love
Fun game to grind
Tons of content to play if you are new and very frequent updates with new content if you are existing. Game is pretty generous for a gacha game. Gameplay is fun and for me personally team building is my favorite part. Reason I gave five stars is for me, the game feels very demanding and they have this bond system which in a way requires you to get certain units to make one more viable. This mostly just ends in a cycle of summoning which I guess is a part of the gacha game. Other than that the game is very enjoyable. It may seem like a steep mountain to grind in the beginning, but for me it was a fun process. I only barely just reached level 70 two months ago, so I am still technically a newbie so take my words with a grain of salt. Okay this is the last sentence, but the community is the best. It may be a bit small but all the people are so nice and helpful, especially the people in the discord.
Extremely pay to win pvp
If you dont intend on investing on the newest hero to come out each month dont bother with PVP, the PVE is alright
Not bad.
I really liked playing this game for a long time. Gameplay was good, I had things to do, and no end of characters to unlock and events to do. My only problem is the updates. I had to delete the game to get more space, and didn’t play it for a while, and when I went to replay it, I had 2700 mb of data that I needed to download, and I literally can’t. My phone just can’t take it. Great game otherwise though.

Old new old player long after post
Summon rates are still bad(has to be 1%for SSR still), you’ll be summoning the same 10 rares forever. The “pity pull mechanism is terrible, only occurring every 100 pulls. For the “wish” summons, through which you select 2 unit you want from an event or banner specific list guarantees one of the on the third pull, but that’s as good as it gets. CONSTANT banners, usually 3-4 up at a time, but the gems and tickets you gets through game play slow down as you progress, coming near to a halt at around the level 45 mark, so the banners are aimed at the whales. They do the whole multiple servers thing leading to(as any new player will notice) several mostly dead servers, consisting of basically the whales of server when it was new. So you have to join a new server, and it will be somewhat active the first few weeks(game has a terrible retention rate due to most of what I’m talking about). I’m on the newest one that begins with ac, and for joint battles(server wide, early to mid game multiplayer content) takes about a minute if you get lucky, sometimes takes 2-3 lobby resets(auto reset at 1:30 minutes)to get other players, usually max level people. When the game was newer you didn’t have to wait long at all and there would be lots of rooms open, now there’s none, you make, wait, and hope. Power creep is insane look at any unit from year one, and look at any released in the past year(especially the LLR). The progression walls still exist first wall is at 30, and continues on through at least 60(how far I made it on my old account years ago). Lots of sales that use FOMO(timers), and directly sale power(equipment, more unit summons, energy, character progression items). Game is the epitome of pay to win(as mention before and after this, it’s pay to progress past certain points depending on luck with drops and summons). The wall in question is a combination or enemies having much greater stats than what you characters can achieve at the same(and in some cases much higher levels, again I remember enemies being stronger at 50-55 than my units, a few of which shad all SSR gear at 4-5 stars, on 4-5 star SSR units) level. Stamina is a major issue still, used for everything in increments of 5(and only like 3 events having a requirement this low) with the average being 15. Cap is the 120 at all points of account progression, and I believe is like 5 minutes for 1 unit recovery. From what I see in guilds and friend request and such across a few servers, average time a new player(free to play I’m guessing) quits seems to be about 27, might be lower because joint guilds and making friends both have level progression requirements. If you do play, don’t spend, as the server will be mostly dead within a month maybe 2, then they’ll open a new server, and it fully dies, leaving only the whales who were dumb enough to spend tens of thousands(not an exaggeration, and that’s on the light end)on the game. Lot more, but I’m tired, bored, gave the gist. TLDR- the game is pay to win and progress(at a decent pace, post account level 40 or so), and it’s basically dead, but they get enough whales whenever they make a new server(which is every few months) so that keeps the game going.
Low odds
I spent a disgusting amount of money trying to get a specific character but instead I only got some terrible R and SR characters. I believe that I could spend a disgusting amount of money more comfortably if there was a guaranteed SSR character after a certain number of Hero Draws.
Money pit… waste of time
They give no information on summon rates and it’s possible this the worst gatcha game of all times. They don’t give you any chances to get summons or ways to get the coins to get summons it’s all IRL money and after doing 12 tenfold summons which is btw over 100 dollars IRL money still didn’t get the char. Fun game but waaaaay over priced in comparison to almost every other game in this genre.
Pity
Needs a better pity system. Also, the powercreep is out of control.
Still the best pvp in Gacha and great stories.
The single-player side of this game is lots of fun. Seven years of content will keep you busy for a long time. On top of that, there are several rogue-lite game modes that recur as events a few times per year that are incredibly fun. Finally, the game’s strategic PvP apex mode is just the best. While whales obviously have some advantage, I have had no problem keeping up with only a monthly pass and if I had more time to play I probably wouldn’t even need that.
Lame
Power creep has ruined this game, every player is using the same 4 over powered LLR character no variety
Good game
Really good game, but the difficulty is maybe a bit too much for a noob like me, when I was just trying to win that extra daily crystals. No matter how much I upgrade my heroes, the map events enemies one-shot me the moment we touched. Well, maybe I was just too much of a noob, but those map events are just too high a hurdle
Need help/opinon
Got kicked off and haven’t been able to log in not sure if admins or anyone is able to help have a good amount invested into it and would had to see it all go overall great game draw rate could be better
Great for Fans
I can tell a lot of effort went into this gacha, it’s a bit more than just a quick cash grab. it seems they really want fans to enjoy their favorite characters in this kind of genre (being gacha) and have made an effort to include as much as the original ip as possible. The story isn’t half-baked, not deep by any means, but serviceable. However I’m running into pacing issues, not just with the gameplay but also with how fast I accrue ascension resources and are able to get to summoning heroes. It could get there a little faster is all I’m saying. Also I wish I was more of a fan of the series, this is my first dive into these games, so I can see how fans would be stoked to play, I’m not so keen.

Way too frucking hard
Pay to win, team has not improved in 1.5 years of playing, mindless events and no diversity in the auto style I need in a busy life. Unplayable.
Great!
Probably one of my most favourite phone games to play it can be addictive and it’s not pay to win
Difficulty spike is terrible
I started playing because I heard they did a collaboration with The Slayers anime, which was one of my favorite shows growing up. I missed the collab but hope they bring it back as it’s literally why I started playing. In the meantime I’ve been trying to save up items and get to a good spot by going through the MSQ, doing dailies, and leveling up my squad. However the difficulty spike in this game is insane and makes the normal story mode unplayable. It’s bafflingly to have level 70 characters with fully leveled classes and gear and not be able to progress in content that’s supposed to be way below my level. Not sure if they expect you to buy from the cash shop and this is a way to push you to spend real money??? But it’s frustrating and unrewarding, and makes the game unplayable. I looked it up online to see if I was doing something wrong but EVERYONE is talking about out the difficulty spike and how bad it is… and no way to really get around it. I don’t even know how to progress at this point. Unless you have a squad that is all in the same faction?—however that means you have to hope you get lucky from the character summons to try and assemble a fully linked squad which is impossible if you’re F2P, and impossible if you’ve been playing for less than a year AT LEAST. I recommend only playing this if you’re a super fan of the Langrisser game series as it has nothing to offer if you don’t already care about these characters. Also almost every female character has comically “sexy” outfits with jiggle physics and everything. So much so that you would feel embarrassed to play this game in public. It’s fine to have fanservice, but it feels like this game goes over the top sometimes. Just something to think about if you play this in the presence of other people.
pvp still bad after update
Alright game but pvp bad
Is great, but could be better.
I love this game but I believe it would be better if they did the crossover units again in case the new players want the older crossovers characters like Ainz Ooal Gown from Overlord or Parn from Record of Lodoss war.
Fail
Why can’t I open the app. Says login in fail every time.
love the game. but….
i really love this game! i love the story, characters and events. the animations are perfect and the art style is amazing. the only problem is the collaborations. i think adding a high level dungeon/secret realm where we can get past collaboration shards. for people who missed the collaboration events or people who couldn’t get them. please add this in
SR and SSR drop rate too low
Been playing for a while and the only thing you get from summons are the basic 10 rare / not so rare heroes. Please fix the drop rate. Some special bonuses need other heroes to complete certain task and i’ve been waiting on them for months. Fun at first, but the grind is one of the dumbest I’ve everseen
Waste of time
Tactics me come meaningless at higher levels because everything gets 1 shot. Even if you have a type bonus in pie against a unit of the same level you can get 1shot. What a colossal waste of time. Gameplay at low levels is great but unless you wanna spend years getting the best heroes or thousands of dollars good luck
More pulls
We need more as new player i only get to do 10 pull wish is nothing we at least free 50 pull
Doesn’t work
Doesn’t allow me to play says login failed every time and I’m a new player don’t bother it’s a broken game
Excellent story
It’s the type of rpg I’ve been looking to do for a while.
apex crush after new update
once summon unit dies in fog, game crsuhes, lost 3 match till i figured out, stupid
Ok game but not friendly to newbies and f2p
Game has a not cheap gancha system. Using both premium and non-premium heroes require strategic thinking on moves and fighting styles. This is a good point. But other traits, like on-line pvp arena where you get honor points (to shop) is extremely not friendly to newbies and f2p. Other servers: 70s with gears will concede to lowbies so that newbies can also get token of coins. Global server: selfish players. 70s will fight you and the match will get you to face them. This will drive out newbies and f2p soon. Great to make this good game (in china, japan and taiwan) falls into a mediocre gancha game in NA.
Add pity system
Please add pity system, It was so much better to have pity rather than risking 300 rolls for nothing
Súper fun game.
This game is very difficult but in a fun way. There are some guys like nitroglycerin on YouTube that have good tactical videos to teach you and some Chinese players who can beat the game with Matthew and the other basic characters proving that you don’t need Leon and super rare SSR characters to clear the end game. My only complaint is that many many times I forgot to claim my daily prizes and when the server resets the rewards are lost in the ether. Please add a auto claim function to the game. Also in guild wars sometimes the server looses connection and it doesn’t reset the match I’m on yet my characters are not able to be selected. Update tried logging into the game after a long time and why account is deleted basically
Have a iPhone 12
The boarders are really messed up since some of the stuff is cut off
Do not pay for it
In terms of the game itself, it’s worth play. But keep in mind, don’t pay for it anyway. After playing this game for 700 days, what I feel is completely fooled in recent 3 banners, I personally pulled 1 single hero in new character to 6 star banner but failed to get another continuously. Just a warm remind before you download this game.
RATES R GARB
When I used to play this game I grinded so hard as there was a yu yu hakusho collab but all my hard work was for nothing even though I did around 5 10x I didn’t get a single collab character
Quick pace
Love the turn based play style
DO NOT DOWNLOAD!
One of the most pay to win gacha games I have ever played. They have to be botting the reviews, there’s no other way i can think of why this is rated so highly.
Hellsing
I really enjoy this game. A few changes though would be nice like a bit more family friendly heroes / skins and I’d love to see a Hellsing crossover!!!!
My fault
Make sure you connect your account. Level 60 and lost everything. However the combat was great.
Give it a try, you wont be disappointed
This game is without doubt what all Gatcha's should be. The game is deep and truly fun. I have played this game for two years and have enjoyed every day. The developers are amazing and very generous with premium currency. This is not a game where its ever too late to start, you haven't missed anything that wont be repeated and you dont need to be a whale to join top tiers of the game.
Great game
I’ve played this game on and off for years, the only reason I ever stop is when I get mad I didn’t get the character I wanted in a summon lol
DONT BELIVE THEIR COSTUMER SERVICE
Been playing for year , and they randomly renew clock of forgiveness on wrong account . So i asked them a very simple question whatever account that i purchased the clock of forgiveness when you you renew it , why did you put it on another account , so i provide the screenshot purchased history , they said “ not detailed and can not check it “ but the money has been taken by them AUTOMATICALLY already . This is not the 1st time happen to me , happened few month ago and now happen again , and keep asking me bunchs question that they already knew the answer trying to trick me into another issue also .
Can’t update to 4
It keeps glitching of the game stingy with vouchers but is still a very good game
An okay game
Game is riddled with level caps blocking you from playing making you have to grind up levels and seriously having to grind cause it doesn’t give great experience... for anything literally anything leaving each mission feeing like a waste of time I do like to pay for packs to support a game unfortunately the drop rates on this game is the same as every other game over priced for what they are and you still will just get the bad units regardless The difficulty in the game is usually refreshing having to think on how to make a play however the spikes in difficulty is honestly the worst I’ve ever seen in any mobile game making them game not that fun to play I’d say download the game to play if you really have nothing else to play other than that just avoid it
One of the best game but boring things...
The Arena resetting is so frustrating; losing 200 points every week. The world arena can be painfull to play if you fall on cash players. The arena apex is the most boring game especially when you fall on player who take 2 minutes moving 1 hero. 35 minutes later, still on round 4. The draws rate are ok but after getting 50 heroes, the draws is 1 Srr hero for 100. Once, it take me 112 before to get one. I was writing to the developers but they never answered me back. No paying player can get many heroes; in 7 months, I was getting 65. At a point, the game become repetitive. There is some really frustrating things about the game as the awakening who didn’t reach level 2 for many heroes. (Betty and Elwyn, for example) the items to awaken a hero is really hard to get. Only on special event. There was only 2 in 7 months. So you must be lucky to get the good heroes as Leon and Ledin for awakening higher levels. Some time rift levels are crazy and so long to play, about one hour. Well, thanks for this game. It was fun and especially with some incredible players. I was SylverStar on Barral.

P2W...seriously
Update: 4 years later, I decided to give this a try…pulled more hints, even got a few stars up, got a working faction even. Seriously…how does this game have the rating it has? I had hoped maybe they would have fixed a few things but…nope. Don’t play this. -A grind game is fine if you can grind...but you cannot as everything in this game requires energy. The energy is precious beyond belief, and it’s insane how quick it’s gone. A single level can take you a week before you can get it, and energy refill is expensive. Add in factions amongst units, which is a must for much content, and star levels that require you to pull multiple units or grind ANOTHER limited daily quest...suffice to say this game finds enough ways to stall you into paying that those who are advancing either have way to much time or are whaling in a way that should be genuinely concerning. The cost of a single 10 pull is also ridiculous ...and my god the rates are low. Bringing us back to the star levels and the factions...you need to pull to get units that match faction bonuses, and need to pull multiple to get star levels up....come on. Don’t even pretend to state this game is meant to be “challenging” when the tactics are obviously designed to push players towards the shop. The games sudden increase in difficulty is staggering, and without a full set of perfect equipment and 6 star/faction equal units you can’t even begin to engage in “tactic” based fights. The devs have left multiple comments on other reviews stating it’s meant to provide a challenge to f2p players...don’t listen...and anyone who is leaving positive reviews is perpetuating the very worst in gacha game tactics.
Gameplay is enjoyable, Gacha is not
Very enjoyable game that plays very well, in my opinion. Nice art, nice sprites and I like the soundtrack. Most other games I don’t even play with the bg music on. The game, as mentioned is actually very f2p friendly (at least in the six days I have been playing). The only problem I have and to be honest, this isn’t exclusive to this game, it is a problem that occurs in all Gacha games - the RNG of summons. Just got the Feat for completing 100 summons. In that 100, I got 2SSRs. Pretty painful but hey, it’s one of those things. I probably would have felt slighted if I’d paid for those summons but as I’d sprung so little and gained so much in my current position, I can’t really complain. Maybe the eventual Dokkan guaranteed SSR with every multi will come in future? It won’t stop the salt but it will do wonders to mitigate it.
Really badly managed great game engine
This game has so much potential and a really good base/engine BUT It lacks level appropriate content scaling. Once you cross lvl 40+ the difference in strength of your enemies that are still 5levels lover than yourself is absolutely unacceptable. It leaves the game with little content to be actually enjoyed as the strategic events become irrelevant. The events section is pointless. All the maps are at least 2level higher than you at all times meaning that after lvl45 there’s no way in hell youre ever going to clear it. Costumes and the rest of the paid content is quite poor and overpriced like in most Asian games. No idea how much money people must earn there to spend hundreds on a bad RNG and a poor selection of costumes. Variety of heroes itself lacks creativity and most them are just copies of each other with very few exceptions from the latest updates. Lack of usage or relevance for any heroes that aren’t at least SR Guild content is also terrible and the only good think is the fact you can buy evolution mats if you’re guild is strong enough to clear anything. Rethink this game devs or the community will die very soon!
Room for improvement
The unit building and progression is very good, the free units are usually interesting characters and the play mechanics are well made. The summoning rate for SSR is dire though, and the provision of trinity vouchers for logging in etc stingy, if I am being generous. On the positive side, I don’t feel compelled to spend anything on the game as the benefit is so poor unless you really whale on it. I like to spend a little to support developers, but I have to feel there is some value there, and at the moment I am not going to spend a penny to see Laird’s dopey face turn up yet again.
