Great App
I’ve been looking for the perfect to-do list app for years, now I think I’ve found it! I love it that it’s so simple and has widgets so I can see my tasks everywhere. Definitely keeps me organized with all my daily tasks.
Used to Love This App
I used to love this app and use it literally every day, but unfortunately the app has not been working for months now. Super big shame, as I could really use this app still. Hope it gets fixed, but I’m doubtful.
Good could be better
I have used and enjoyed this app. My only complaint is that I cannot write out a long description of my task. I guess making a note would help with that, but I would like to see a longer description at a glance. I can’t even get back to the complete description once I have added it. Thank you!
App crashing… Still
I have had this issue in the past and my app won’t even open now without crashing, I tried to delete and reinstall it and now I am stuck on a white screen with a next button displayed with no change when I click it. I really loved this app and used it often and had some important items on my lists that I can no longer view so it’s very disappointing that I can’t access them now.
Like the app, but my lists were deleted
I’ve used this app for quite a long time. I love the sensation of checking things off. Recently I got a new phone and transferred my data including app from old to new. I was using my app successfully on the new phone for several weeks. One morning I opened the app to check my lists and received a purchase option. I declined. And that’s when all my lists and data were removed. In fairness I was using the free version of the app… but to lose all my data without warning was frustrating. I had been using the app for a long time (probably over a year) and I was unaware there was a limitation on the free duration period. I’ve moved on to another method of tracking lists. I like this app but I would advise if you have lists and reminders that are hard to recreate, to purchase the app and not use a free version to preserve your data. If not for the data loss I would rate this 4.5 stars. The only thing that I would suggest for a 5 star rating is the ability to nest and collapse within a list. Cheers!
I’m Sold
When the upgrade to the new version came out I panicked. I have been using the free version for a number of years. I use it primarily for my groceries list but have other lists that I use sporadically. I had questions, wrote Shackar and he responded within 24 hours. From my standpoint great customer service. He pointed out existing features that I was not using — basically the search and pinning functions that allow me to find items on the list pin them, bringing them to the top. I’m probably not going to upgrade but the customer service provided is worth the price. I totally recommend this app for its functionality.
Being charged for App that isn’t Working!
I paid for a yearly subscription in the Fall of 2023. The app worked great…at first. However, before the subscription ended (Fall 2024), the app started kicking me out, saying that I needed to renew in order to continue, so I did, but that did not fix the problem. I reached out to the developer & got no response. I have been charged for this product for the past 2 months - even after attempting to and thinking I HAD cancelled my subscription. Today, I attempted to cancel it again, only to be told that I will be charged through DECEMBER 2025! So, I have a product that will not work, a developer who has not replied to my request for help(to my knowledge), and I am being charged for a yearly subscription. Feels “scammy.”
Great Alternative to Clear
I’m a list gal and used the Clear app every day until it was no longer available. Check This is very similar. What ai love best is even though it can be a little glitchy at a times, the developer, Shachar, is very responsive and quick to fix. Shachar also welcomes feedback and makes improvements. This app helps keep me organized. Big fan!
Stop with the “updates”
Wow, went in to make a to do for the day and a recent “update” has the app trying to sell you stuff you don’t need. Its an app to make LISTS, nothing more. That in of its self is the ultimate organizational tool. I don’t need it to hound me with notifications and reminders, or even to think for me. So I am going back to good old paper and pencil. It was great while it lasted . . .
Latest update failed
This is(was) by far my most used app. I had a list for everything. Used the app this morning - went to use it later and it had updated. All my lists are gone. I can’t bring them back !!! I’ve tried everything suggested. 🙁
New update messed up
I like be this app! Easy to use, keeps me organized, and I love be the ability to color code. 5 stars. However, the new update froze the app and I can’t get to my lists. Please fix this quick! Update: I redownloaded app and everything was fixed. All data restored. Emailed the developer and got a quick response. Great service! All the features I like are still available for free. Love the app:)

Two things: 1. App stopped working 2. It indicated my subscription is restored I never paid for a subscription. If this has changed to a subscription service without my knowledge PLEASE CANCEL IMMEDIATELY!!!

Hi After last update app not working in my phone
Disappointing
I was using and truly enjoying the app and then one day without notification my lists and information within were completely gone! What appeared was a subscription opportunity and I thought that if I subscribed that my data would be restored, I was wrong!!!!!!

The app was abruptly updated to a paid subscription and I lost all my data without any notice.
Easy check list app!
This app is simplistic and gets the job done! Making lists is almost a hobby for me. And to cross them off know that I’ve completed a task is so rewarding. This app helps you do just that! It’s easy and simple and a necessity for me! Thank you!
Doesn’t work!
I purchased this app in November of this past year, and it has NEVER worked. When I type in an item to add to my grocery list and hit add, it kicks me back to my home page. I sent a message to the address shown and have never received a response. I loved the app when I first got it, but, not anymore.
Needs just one thing
I love the minimalist look but it needs a badge for each title to let you know how many items are left.
App randomly deletes stuff
App worked pretty well until it updated and deleted all of my lists.

Love this app but changes made in the last version make it less useful to me. I have certain daily items I want to stay at the top of the list but now they get moved to the bottom when checked off. Also I delete things and they show back up. Please revisit these changes.
The best to-do list app, ever!
I’ve been on the hunt for years for a simple to-do list app that I can use with ease. But every single time I tried an app, it always felt clunky and complicated to navigate. Enter Check This - a friend told me about it two years ago and since then, it’s been the most used app on my phone. I basically have my entire life on it from packing lists, to do lists, travel lists, books to read, shows to watch etc etc. Any time I need to add something, it’s SO quick to pull up the app and enter info. Most importantly, the developer helped fix an issue in a day, with fast responses and constant communication. Highly recommend this app as your forever to-do list app!

Was fine for a while…
I liked this app until my lists got deleted, which I’m guessing happened with the latest update. So I won’t be using it anymore.
New feature
I love everything about this app but the one thing I’d like added is a search bar under the main page so I can look up all of the list that has the same item on it so I know if I’m doubling up something. I’d be nice if it also showed what colour/list title it was put under.

I use this app often for all my lists! With the last update, my lists somehow got deleted and Shachar got right on fixing the problem for me and I have all my lists back. Excellent app and wonderful customer service!
All info gone
I opened my app to check off things to do today and everything is blank. I have been using it about 3 weeks and love it. It now opens to a page for a monthly fee of $4.99 to unlock everything but all my data is gone. I paid the $4.99 to unlock everything but my original lists are completely gone. All that work and important information is no longer available to me. Where is it? My data is back and I thank you. But why did you make me pay $4.99/month to get it back. I was quite happy with the old version. If I cancel, will I lose my data again? Thank you for replying to my problem.

Was working perfectly fine until it DELETED all my lists. I know it updated but at the very least it could have given me a heads up or time limit because wth. My lists were how I remember all the crap I have to do and now they’re all gone. 2 stars because I'm mad it’s making me pay now.
Deleting things?
I like this app, but it would be a lot better if once you crossed something off your list you could delete it. Otherwise you just have a massive list to sort through of things you have already done.

Decent product ruined by subscription model
This was a genuinely useful app but nowhere near enough so to justify the stealth update to a subscription service. This change, especially without forewarning, just feels like a scummy cash grab
Like the app, but it could use a few additional features
My life has become a series of To Do lists so I was glad to find your app which allows for different categories, but there’s no menu so one is limited to what can be done. What I would like to see is options for subcategories in each category, e.g., sometimes a task requires 3-4 components to get it done. Also, sometimes a task is repetitive every week or every month, so the ability to retain it but check it off with a date associated to it so when you look at it you know, “ok, I already did it for this month, I don’t have to worry about it for another 3 weeks. Also, sometimes a task is ongoing so instead of checking it off, you could have an “In progress “ designation. And finally, the ability to input notes under a task,e.g. some of my tasks are calling people, but you don’t always catch them on the first try, so being able to input “left message on Jan 1” or “will call me back by Friday “, etc. would be helpful. Thank you!
App Probs
This app would be wonderful IF it wouldn’t erase to do items randomly or clear out whole checklists all of a sudden leaving me to remember what was on the list again. So frustrating.

update made it worse
i love the colors and editing abilities but I found its way too easy to delete a list! i slid to edit and swoosh! it was gone! 😬 maybe im missing something?? update 1-17-23 i have an iphone 8 and the most recent version of this app doesnt save what i put on a list & closes on its own suddenly when i try to add to a list. i went to the app support link & the document is missing. could t report a problem with apple either. time to look for a new notes app Update: 10-19-23 developer made some fixes so i was able tp get my old lists back. appreciate it!
Check This App.
This was my favorite app for to do lists until the most recent update which has changed how you can categorize the lists on the main page. You used to be able to categorize them in order of your own preference and now you are limited to a few choices and it isn’t as convenient.
GLITCHY
I have used this app well over a year and loved it! Recently, however, it keeps reordering items and deleting them. Additionally, it spontaneously closes. I hope these bugs are fixed soon, or I will switch to another app.

It’s great! I love having the categories for my lists! I just wish I could uncheck items that I get or do frequently to stay. Otherwise great app!
Horrible Junk!!
I was using the free version, had a list of important things to accomplish BUT the app managers decided to lock the free app and demand - not offer a 4.99 per month or 27.99 per year or NOTHING!! Do not support this scam app, they are horrible!!!
Change list colors?
So far it’s a great app and very helpful when I need to remember things. But there is no way that I have found to change the color of the lists? That’s the only issue I have with it at the moment!
V1.03 has some issues
Prior version worked well for me, but this one will delete the wrong row of data. When I add an item to a list, it gets added at the top. If I decide to delete that item, and swipe left, that item goes to the bottom, and a different item is deleted! I deleted several items before I realized my list was screwed up. And the sorting options leave a bit to be desired for me, too.
Fantastic App. Responsive Creator.
I use this app every single day. I am Nero-divergent and also have some memory problems. This app is simple, it’s easy for me to use and comprehend. I get to color coordinate all my lists which helps me feel organized. I am much more efficient when I use this app. Without a doubt the best part is the Creator of this app. I reached out to them because I had wanted to organize my lists manually instead of other options. Not only did they respond within 24 hours, but they also put what I wanted in the new update AND reached out as soon as the update was available. This is an amazing app; is still continuing to improve and add new features.
I want my lists back
I can’t believe a years worth of hard worked on lists are GONE not to mention my work to do list and the things that got dropped bc I lost it. I would have paid for the privilege of keeping my lists but to delete them like that was wrong I will make sure anything this developer makes in the future will not be used by me.
Very clean
This is a very clean to do list app. Simple and easy on the eyes. I’m surprised actually as there’s not much to it. Just make a list, pick a colour for your list and it’s done. Checking off items is a simple click and it’s lined out. I do a list daily so I just click the list item again and the list is fresh to restart the next day. I agree with the other reviewer tho, it’s way too east to delete an entire list. Slide left and it’s just gone and no way to retrieve it. You need to slow your swipe and get a feel for it as there’s an edit and delete option mid swipe but it takes a few times to find that spot where it just doesn’t delete. That took a star off Nice thing? No noisy pop up ads and banners. Clean. Easy to use. Fast.
It’s too easy to accidentally delete a list!
I loved the design. But deleting a list is too easy. I accidentally lost an important work list by swiping left on accident!! Should work on slowing down that process, make an undo button or like a second step to the process. The header keeps disappearing, don’t get why. Love the idea of the app would recommend it only if these things were changed about it though
