Just a log
If you just want to manually enter on the data from your sauna session this app is for you. That wasn’t what I was looking for. No stop watch or timer built in to the app so you have to time your session in other ways then figure out/ remember your start time to log it. No cold plunge option.

Would love to see a timer feature to start a session at anytime and support with Bluetooth devices to automatically track heart rate like from earbuds.

Wish there was a countdown timer in app so that you could have a session capture your actual time in sauna without needing to set a separate timer. Would also appreciate if it connected with health more cleanly (height/weight, etc to better estimate calories based on heartbeat etc)

I record my Sauna session with this app and it performs flawlessly. I am particularly please that it updates my Apple activity app. My only request would be if you could create another app that records and updates my Apple activity app with similar data for my Cold shower/plunges. To date I cannot find a similar app that would record this information.

Could use some improvements
I appreciate the polished interface and the ability to track my time in sauna as workouts that are stored in Apple health. However, why can I not choose a humidity over 40% for a Sauna? I have a traditional steam sauna and cannot choose above 40%?? I’d love to see the ability to save presets for time, temp, and humidity!

I was looking for a sauna app to record sessions. While this app provides a log it could use room for improvement. All input is entered manually. I would like to see more user friendly. For example. Heart Rate should be monitored when I hit a start button for my sauna session. Just how apple provides workout apps. It would record everything once you hit go…
No Apple Watch support
Good app, but it was surprise for me that it doesn’t support Apple Watch. Should read notes better next time. I don’t see any needs in it without Apple Watch support.
Does exactly what it states
Simple tracking program for Sauna sessions. Has all the needed metrics to track. Also tracks cold plunges
Poorly thought about
Says can track ice baths and has a toggle but can’t track temps below 30c in the app which makes no sense. The temp field should allow for more values to track ice bath temps.
New feature request
Enjoy being able to log. It would be nice to start and end a session.
Apple watch app missing
Not so useful if you there is no apple watch app that measures everything even in some public sauna you can not bring your phone with you and you cant log the sessions
Tolle App mit Potential :)
Finde die App super und macht im Grunde was es soll. Saunagänge tracken und diese dann an Health übertragen. Die Übertragung der verbrauchten Kalorien finde ich gut, jedoch glaube ich werden zu viele Kalorien gut geschrieben. Vielleicht hier vom flotten Spaziergang auf einen normalen gehen. Was ich aber fast besser finden würde wäre eine Synchronisation der Zeit zur Achtsamkeit. Da passt es besser als zum reinen Kalorienverbrauch. Viel Erfolg beim Weiterentwickeln.
It’s Magical
I track my time in the sauna, and this app magically turns it into exercise minutes!! Perfect for Challenges. My wife and I use everyday after going into our home sauna!! Feature request: easily allow one person to track and submit for 2 users or allow easy sharing of the stats so one person can track, then send an easy link with the sauna information to the other. I find one of us will forget to submit, so then it’s a bit of work to go back through older entries to get the other’s updated.

Eigentlich gefällt mir die App ganz gut, besonders, dass man auch hinzufügen kann, ob ein Aufguss gemacht wurde. Aber leider, leider gibt es keine Ergänzung für die Apple Watch. Und da in den meisten Saunen aus verständlichen Gründen Handys verboten sind, kam ich leider noch nicht dazu, die App zu benutzen. Wer also eine private Sauna sein Eigen nennt, der ist hier gut dran. Alle anderen sollten nach einer App schauen, die auch die Watch unterstützt.

It’s so nice having something to log times but if you could add the ability to look at weekly, monthly, yearly like a fitbit app that would be awesome as you could try and do more temp or time and/or compare weekly/monthly/yearly stats
Kind of a rip off
It’s so basic for an app that costs money. I thought it might track you through your sauna session so you can see how your body is reacting and maybe get some feed back. All it does it let you manually enter your sauna info. You enter time, date, duration, and temperature, that’s it. You could just dictate that to Siri or stick it in a note.
Good way to keep track of sauna time, but lacking essentials
I like tha app in general, but it doesn’t integrate very well with health app. Live heart rate data logging with sauna would be nice

Love this app. Track my time in sauna without hassle or confusion.
Not worth $1.99
Does not sync with apple health, does not track heart rate or calories burned. It just logs the basic infor. Sauna, 10 minutes, temp 175 and adds a button to say of you did a cold plunge or not. There is no benefit to buying this app. And if you contact support they will not get back to you.
Super App aber…
HotLog ist eine super App für alle Saunagänger die es lieben Daten zu Dokument und zu tracken. Das einzige was dieser App dringend fehlt ist eine Apple Watch App mit der ich die Einträge auch von meiner Apple Watch aus starten und tracken kann. Oftmals hat man kein Handy dabei aber die Apple Watch schon. Ob das bei den Temperaturen sinnvoll ist oder nicht sei jetzt mal dahin gestellt. Die Möglichkeit zu haben wäre super.
Great app - as long as you don’t migrate to a new phone
Love the app, the interfaced data to health & consistent tracking of my sauna time. However, after damaging my original phone - the data didn’t migrate to my new device the way I had hoped. Everything prior to today was great, permissions are identical on all devices - but today’s entries no longer sync. Which is pretty frustrating Realizing there’ll be a lag in developer response - I opted to download my data in the csv (which is highly detailed & helpful), uninstall everything & reinstall and add my old data back in. Good thing I didn’t have any big plans this weekend Lol
Add timer
Just bought the app, seems pretty good for what it has but definitely wanting an Apple Watch app where you can have a timer to keep track of exactly how long you’re in the sauna for. I always put a timer when I go in the sauna so it would be amazing to be able to do this.

…welche die ganzen Logs löschen. War letztes Jahr der Fall. Und bessere Exportmöglichkeiten, die auch funktionieren anbieten. Konnte meine Logs nicht mehr wiederherstellen. Sonst alles super für den Zweck. Danke!
Naja
Zeichnet halt manuell hinzugefügte Saunagänge auf. Der Übertrag in Health klappt nicht und intelligent wäre eine Koppelung mit HealthKit und Armbänder, die den Puls während des Saunagangs überwachen.

Does not track calories or pair with Apple Watch
The whole reason I down loaded this app was to track the calories I burned in a sauna. It does not do that. I saw an article on saunahelper.com and it stated this app would track calories and pair with Apple Watch. I’ll continue to trouble shoot but for now, I don’t see it working at all. All it does for you it what the title says. Logs the info. That’s it!
Easy to use
Super simple, seamlessly moves into Apple Health. Suggestion: I’d love to be able to track my cold plunge time and not just click that I did it. I go from sauna to cold and back again. And I want to know how long I’ve spent in the cold plunge.
