The best!!!!!
I’ve been doing yoga with Kassandra for over 6 years now. I started on her YouTube channel but I LOVE the app. No ads. Easy to search for and find what I’m looking for. Kassandra does a great job of making yoga accessible to all levels. And I LOVE the shorter videos like 10, 15, and 20 minutes.
Beware international travel! App does not work in China
I love kassandra’s yoga videos. I got this app to take Yoga on the road with me during my asia trip. The videos would not play or download anywhere I was traveling in China. I wasted a lot of time with tech-support doing all sorts of troubleshooting, and they assured me that the app works abroad everywhere and would not refund me or extend my subscription due to the tech issues. I finally gave up on troubleshooting it. Then when I got to Thailand the videos finally played! So tech support has no idea what they are talking about and are completely unaware that different countries have different internet regulations. I never got to use this app for my yoga practice as right after I arrived in Thailand my 1 month subscription expired.
Schade.
Love the yoga, glitchy app on iPad
I have been a devoted follower of this app for the last five yearS. I LOVE THE YOGA but since the last update to the iPad there’s been all sorts of little glitches. Eg it repeatedly says there’s no Internet connection when I try and reschedule a video for another time but clearly there is an Internet connection because every other app on the iPad works. Works just fine on the iPhone. No means of contacting the developer through the App Store.
Kassandra is the best
My husband and I discovered Kassandra on YouTube, but it’s so much easier to sort through her classes on the app. I’ve tried various online yoga teachers over the years and Kassandra is by far my favorite. She explains things so clearly that I rarely even need to look at the screen. I use the app 5-6 days a week and love the wide selection of options. There are some “guest” teachers on her app as well so you can mix up your practice. Big fan!
Not a good app for beginners
For someone who knows nothing about yoga it’s to fast and doesn’t give enough beginner poses. I wouldn’t recommend for beginners.
Great app!
I love this app! It has great filters to search for videos and you can schedule them on the calendar! Only thing I wish it had was a suggestion tab for leaving feedback on diff types of videos to update and when you save them to your library it would b nice to write notes on what I liked and didn’t like so I can choose the video that’s best for me right away. Overall love the app and love to support Kassandra! And her amazing critters in the videos too!!!!
Well made with a few “premium” perks
I found YWK on YouTube, and got the app to get access to some series and programs that aren’t available on her channel and to be able to save videos to take with me on unplugged vacations. Videos are also really well organized and easy to search, moreso than on YT. Beyond this, the benefits of the app are the ability to schedule specific videos (altho the reminder notifications only ping TWELVE HOURS before theyre scheduled, and theres no way to edit this that I can find) and to journal in-app about your practice. I wish the Community tab was a forum built within the app, but it directs you to a Private facebook group (and I don’t have an account, so I don’t get access to that despite being a member). All this to say - paying for the app has some benefits, but you can find free ways to access 90% of the experience without it. I love Kassandra’s teaching style and attitude about yoga, so I’m happy to support as a member, but hope they come up with new ways to enhance the app experience!
Simple, effective!
Note: I already had my 200hr certification before finding Kasandra’s marvelous practices. Purchased this app for 30 days of practice in my birthday month, after sampling Kassandra’s free YouTube sessions for a while. After a full year I’ve completed 167 practices and 63 hours of yoga with her. The most important point is that her practice designs are wonderful: accurate alignment, well designed flows, technique is flawless. Her guidance style is easy humble and very accessible. The bonus is the great app search capabilities, monthly plans and tracking as well as amazing variety of practices and practice lengths. Well done.
Not free
Kassandra is an amazing yoga teacher; I do her videos on YouTube almost every day. Thought I’d try the app but it won’t let me use it without signing up for an account. I thought it was supposed to be free?
What happened to Yin catagory?
I love this app! I use it regularly. But after the recent update under the “Yoga by Style “ area the Yin classes have disappeared. Thats my favorite part of the whole app. Not sure if its me or the app.
Scheduling component lacking
The scheduling component is quite clunky and difficult to navigate. Instructions to set Up the app ar non-existant. Most likely will not use the app after trial is over
Perfect for all levels (FREE 1-week trial)
I have been following Kassandra for 3 years now on YouTube (yogawithkassandra). I was just starting out, and came across her free 30-day challenge & fell in love. Her words of encouragement, grace, and inclusivity made it easy to follow and her back on track. I recently got her app & it’s like finding her for the first time all over again. -The app will send you notes of encouragement when you complete a session - there is a calendar you can choose to follow or create there are weekly/monthly classes to follow along with -you can search for pretty much anything you’re looking for (slow-flow, entry-level, back pain, pms, etc) I highly recommend her abundance class. I took it once over a year ago & I have been using the tools since then. You can revisit/work through the program as many times as you like. (This is not sponsored or an ad, this is a genuine response to how much her classes have changed my life)
Cancel my subscription please
I for the life of me cannot find a solution to cancel subscription. Please cancel
That yoga planning hack you were looking for
This app is very useful to keep you on tracks with your yoga practice. The look and feel is slick and simple, just like Kassandra’s teaching style! You can choose to practice at your own pace or you can commit to daily practice with a different theme every month. There is also some exclusive content you won’t find on Kassandra’s free yoga YT channel ;)
Background refresh
Love the app. Shame it refreshes so much in the background, it drained 50% of my battery in a 3 hours!
Great app for me
I tried many apps/yoga teachers and found that Kassandra is my favorite. I love her style, cues and flows. The monthly calendar is great as otherwise I would use a few flows I originally found and liked. With the calendar I challenge myself to try at least one new flow each week. Highly recommended!
Nothing
I’ve enjoyed these videos on YouTube so I thought I’d get the app. I was all set to continue with “30 days of 10 minute morning yoga” series. Now the only day I can find of this series is Day 1 - none of the others. There’s no way to contact them just a string of FAQ. I’m canceling and going back to YouTube.
great app with some problems
This is a great app. Got it a week ago and have been using the monthly schedule and the yin/yoga for runner’s options mostly so far. Love that i can schedule practices. Four stars because it worked perfectly for one week and now half the videos i scheduled won’t download or play. They say they are 0:00 minutes long and won’t start. Tried deleting and reloading, closing app etc but nothing seems to work. It’s not all the videos so I can still find some yoga practices, but it’s frustrating.
Amazing!
This is exactly what I needed. The variety, and organization is excellent!
Same videos on YouTube
I do Yoga with Kassandra almost daily so was looking for new videos. I specifically love yoga videos that are 60-90 minutes long. I downloaded the app hoping to find new videos, but it’s the same few videos that are for free on YouTube.
Background music please
This is a great app and Kassandra is great, but specially for yin yoga the background music is esencial!!
Must have yoga app
This is perfect for all levels of yoga. You can enjoy yoga if you’re a beginner or an advanced yogi. I love all of the choices of yoga on this app. There are various levels, flows, times, etc. There are yoga monthly challenges, you can save your favorites, and create a schedule. I implement yoga almost daily because of the convenience of this app. I recommend this app to all yogis out there! Yoga with Kassandra deserves 5 stars!
Excellent Value
A very well-designed app that is both beautiful and easy to navigate. The classes are well organized and filters make picking the perfect class for your mood a breeze.
Never been consistent about yoga until now
I’m a former competitive athlete that started with Kassandra’s free videos on YouTube. It’s quality stuff and I believe in paying to support good work. The nice thing about the app is it makes a monthly schedule that’s easy to stick with and you can build a habit from it. I also like streaming it to my Apple TV. I never could get myself to practice more than once or twice a week before this... and now it’s part of my day. This is such an awesome complementary practice to my other activities. Can’t wait to dig into the exclusives like core work and meditations.
Well worth the fee
I used the free videos on YouTube for a bit then made the move to get the app. It’s easy to find classes, and I like seeing the days I have practiced on the calendar. I mostly use the Morning Yoga Movement because it makes yoga SO accessible to my daily schedule (and therefore my yoga practice frequency has vastly increased), but the quantity and QUALITY of classes on the app make for good variety. Thanks for all the effort, Kassandra, the app is 💯 worth the money.
