Love this game but the community center
So I love this game don’t get me wrong. It’s like a great game concernedape did good but here’s the thing why am I still on year five and still don’t have the community center done like I will be fishing every day and somehow I still can’t get the fish that I need and why when I decide to go fishing it’s a bad luck day like come on

Love the game, hate the mobile controls
If this game supported the iPad’s magic keyboard or actually supported bluetooth controllers (let you navigate your inventory with the bumpers, have the action button be consistent across tools, etc) this would be great. Really enjoy playing on my laptop or switch, but the mobile game controls are not my favorite.

Impossible
When you first start a tutorial it is impossible to hit the present. No matter which way you come at it it just won’t do it. I tried on an iPhone 15 pro max and on an iPad and it doesn’t work. Took about 10 minutes on the iPhone but no luck on the iPad. It shouldn’t be this difficult to start
Saving Issue
I’ve had multiple days where tons of progress was made be completely lost due to an unfortunate error where the game gets stuck on the saving screen after going to bed. This has happened around 4 times for me, and frankly it ruins the experience significantly. Other than the issues stated above, this game definitely exceeds the price point in terms of story, gameplay, and visuals. I would wholeheartedly rate this 5 stars once the issue is resolved.

Terrible for iPhone
As much as I’d like to say this game is good, it’s quite literally impossible to play if you’re an iPhone user. Buttons and text are covered by your screen and it makes it more difficult than it should be to play. Please fix this!

So ive had this game for about a month and a half maybe more and im at 140+ hours but im disappointed i see people play on computer and its so much better you get little icons that if you click on the character it makes like a ! Or ? But on mobile it wont do that im just a bit disappointed i feel this game could bring more and im aware this is made by one person so i need to cut you some slack i just feel this game could be more 🙂 have a great day and stay dewy ^^

Horrifically slow and has absolutely no help for advancing in the game. You can never really tell where you are because you can’t see enough of the game. Waste of money.

I love this game and wanted to play it on the go but when using my iPhone it cuts part of of the game screen off, so I can’t see my tool bars. It impossible to play that way.

I played Stardew Valley on my iPhone for a long time, and everything worked perfectly. After updating to the latest version, the game became unplayable. The entire screen is zoomed in and cut off. The health and energy bars, the toolbar, and even the "Loading..." message are cut off and extend beyond the screen. Rescaling the interface doesn't solve the problem. I've already tried everything to fix the issue, but nothing has worked. The problem occurs in every save and even in new games. I'm using an iPhone 14 Pro Max with the latest version of the game. Please fix the screen scaling issue. I really love Stardew Valley and want to play again, but it's impossible now because the interface is cut off.

I just purchased this game. I set my profile up. It took me forever for it to actually click on the first gift now what it talks about planting and reading neighbors and everything else and there’s no instructions on how the hell we get there. I literally am in this little room and can’t get out. I even tried to go to your app support so that’s a bunch of BS too. What is happening please please help me. How can I enjoy the game when I literally cannot even start it?! I kind of think it’s weird the graphics reminds me of the old Atari game system back in the 60s with a little ball bounce back-and-forth. I could have better graphics but besides that, why did I pay for something that I cannot play? Where are your instructions? Please please help me. Isn’t there even a place where I can email you or get a hold of any of you

I love this game and appreciate some compatibility with backbone controllers, but if controllers were fully integrated, this would be a game changer!
Unplayable on latest iPhones
The UI just don’t work properly with almost all buttons getting clipped at the edges and stuff hiding in the Dynamic Island. Please fix this cause the game itself is really good.

this is one of my favorite games to play and I love that I can play with friends, but why not cross platform? If you guys could do that it would be amazing!! Also, one last problem. When I am fishing and I get a hit, unless I tap directly in front of me, the game thinks I am tapping to move. If that could get fixed it would mean the world to me. Thank youuu!
Adaptations needed
The game is playable on newer iPhone’s with dynamic island, but it needs to be optimised/adapted for this. It’s obstructed and just too zoomed in. Stuff like the item selector and the energy bar are covered by the edges of the screen and the dynamic island. It just feels too zoomed in and the placement of these needs to be changed. I can see they recently released an update for the app, so it’s not totally abandoned by the devs. Why wouldn’t you fix this?

Zoomed in menu
As much as I want to like this game, I’m going to give it a very bad review for iPhone. The menu and UI is zoomed in and you can’t see certain items like a pickaxe or the exit icon or even the settings icon Awful out of the box experience and wasted my time

Buggy and poorly optimised for mobile. I’m sure the game is decent on other platforms, but I couldn’t move beyond the issues on mobile, so uninstalled.
INCORPORATE MULTIPLAYER
I found it quite disappointing when my friend and I bought this game, which has multiplayer incorporated in it’s other platform versions, not available on mobile. It was very discouraging and even despite the hidden multiplayer feature, the game is buggy & actions cannot be completed, games will freeze etc. We can’t seem to understand why multiplayer has not been formally added to the mobile version of the game, and even more so confused as to why it refuses to work at a distance. I think with today’s technology it could be easier to add, considering the game hasn’t been updated for over a year.

Won’t save new game
Brand new player, just purchased the app, won’t save a new character so I can start a game, not usable at all
I love this game but the bugs are killing me!
I have been playing stardew valley on switch since I was 8. I’m now 16, at 10 I got stardew valley on my iPad and there’s frequent glitches of my screen going black. It’s messed so much progress for me, and it’s overall just very frustrating. Usually if I don’t play for awhile it will stop happening. But after a week or so of playing every day, it goes back to the bugs. I’d love to see this being fixed!
Fishing is TOO HARD
I love stardew but I have had to quit twice because I just cannot fish. Days and days of trying but nothing except basic fish. I managed to get to year four by buying fish from the caravan but after completing everything else except one fish in the community centre I am stuck doing the same thing over and over. Fishing is minecraft is easy, fishing in Skyrim is lovely. Fishing in Stardew ruins the whole game.

This is a great game. Unfortunately this version is buggy. When I start the game on my iPad 10, and the day I get my cat, I always wind up with TWO cats, but only one water dish. This needs fixing.

Broken game
GUI is literally broken. Bought in the beginning of the month used it for maybe an hour, got frustrated and quit. Wish I didn’t buy it on the App Store. Should have just gotten it on steam.
Some problems probably just me?
So I do love the game, but some problems being my cat likes to block the entrance to my own home until my character passes out, which sucks, and the amount of times I have to turn my phone so I can actually get to the other areas because of the black bar my phone has when I’m on a game, and sometimes I can’t find people in time for the quest limits on the amount of days. Which does suck but otherwise I love the game. It’s probably just me mostly having some problems like that. Maybe some others might have similar problems but so far in reviews I didn’t see anything mentioned like this..But I do love the game still despite the some problems I have.
