Game breaking bug within 5 minutes of playing for the first time
The game won’t let me build the hatchery, tried uninstalling and reinstalling. I have a couple hundred slime and it requires only 15 lol. Shame, the game looks good but it doesn’t want me to play it
Great Game
Would be five stars however recently the game went and glitched out and no longer even functions correctly. It just stays at a constant limbo state and I can’t upgrade anything or even watch ads to get double rewards. Even my generators are constantly on but give no benefits. Had this game the longest out of all my games… sad I will have to see it go unless this is fixed
Broken
I’ve played this game and enjoyed it but the high end is just pay to win and almost impossible to progress past a certain point. Secondly now that I’m coming back to try it again the game either freezes after showing the company logo or freezes at 80% of loading and there’s no way point and it has apparently been an issue for a while with no fix.
Solid Enough
The core gameplay is solid, the art looks nice too. But animations can be choppy, micro transactions are overpriced, littered with optional gambling ads. As much as I enjoy it, it simply bubbles down to being just ok. Which isn’t bad, just… meh 🆗

I love idle apocalypse it is the first game I got and my first favorite and I love the codes but I used a bunch and I don’t have anymore codes so I was wondering if you could make some more because well all the codes you make are just pure fun especially the enidsux that is good one so please make more and I am excited for your response - idle apocalypse fan
Unplayable Bug
This is a really good game, but recently after the phone updated it keeps crashing or freezing. It’s in an unacceptable state and it doesn’t look like an update is coming out to fix the problem. Technical support hasn’t helped either.
Great game but never lets me play :(
I love this game but it doesn’t let me play anymore. Every time I open it the bar loads to 80% but never goes any further. I really just want to play the game again but it never works I swear I have tried everything.
Please Fix…
Keeps ripping me off when I got to double my items after a new day starts…gives a message stating I’ve already taken advantage of it for that day when I haven’t. I’ve paid in more money on this game than I care to admit…really fun until this started a few weeks ago…now I’m just annoyed and feeling ripped off. PLEASE FIX!
Gets boring after a week or two

Fun but the developers abandoned the game.
This game is good but I have some problems that don,t effect the gameplay, while you can technically get everything for free theirs some skins and a special floor you can’t get without money,another thing is that it feels like you have to by the deal in some of the events because of the skin in it and because the biggest prize is impossible in the time you get,finally I think that the biggest problem is that the developers abandoned the game the game got new content 4 years ago and it was just a skin after that it was just performance and bug fixing.Idle apocalyptic is a great game and is really fun but these issues can be a little annoying.
PLEASE FIX ADS
Please fix the ads offers, every time I get an ad offer I agree to watch it but no ad appears. I also bought the the no ads pack and this issue still is occurring.
Recent update problems
For the most part, this game is great. However, since iOS update to 18, the game has glitches. Tap inputs are laggy. Sometimes 2-3 second lag. The daily offline double bonus doesn’t work at all. There may be other issues I haven’t found yet.
Was enjoying but
Now they want me to pay money to unlock the event. Excuse me? Icing on the cake is, the purchased content for events doesn't show up in the in-app store. Lol. Brilliant. Also, be warned that 80% of ads are the obnoxious kind that require interacting three separate times.

game broken
i love this game, but i got a new phone (iphone 16 pro upgraded from the xr), and now it’s unplayable. nothing can be upgraded, nothing can be built. it’s such a shame as i had just redownloaded the game before getting my new phone and was really enjoying getting back into it. ios 18.1 for the record.

Freezes and crashes
This used to be one of the better examples of its type until the last group of “updates. It now often will not launch and if it does launch it freezes and crashes constantly. It is unplayable in its current state.
Bugs with kitchen
Dear GR, please update the game to fix some bugs occurring with the kitchen. It is causing me to be able to not build things, not scroll past it, and other things. After my last Apocalypse it was there already, which is not supposed to happen, so I know something is wrong. Thanks.
Favorite mobile game of all time
Best in the business
Unplayable.
After some time of not playing I redownload the game to see how much the game has updated. I get back on and all my progress is gone! and im not gonna spend months just to get back to the point I was at. So I guess this is my goodbye to thy game, farewell.
Generator Interaction
Really a great game except for a few bumps here and ther that are really not that bad and doesn’t hinder the gameplay that much but the major thing I would add (not really big) is more interactions in the generator rooms because I’m clicking for around 45 sec and most of it is blank space and when your tower is long you have a bunch of them so I would appreciate more generator interaction
Can’t even build the first floor
Just logged into the game and it gets stuck when I attempt to build the very first room. When you click the build icon, and the option to pick ‘yes or no’ is displayed, selecting ‘yes’ only causes the icon to depress, but doesn’t trigger a confirmation. I’ve tried uninstalling and reinstalling the game, but nothing changed. I’d be happy to update my review if this issue is fixed.
Can’t Double offline loot
No matter how many times I tap the double button no video pops up.
Amazing Idle Game
It’s just a good game all around. Cool and consistent theming, clean pixel art style, actually fun gameplay, or fun compared to most other idle games you’d find on the AppStore. It was one of the first few games I downloaded on my phone some years ago and I can confidently say it still holds up. Also no forced ads, there’s still ads but they’re just for rewards. All worth it but negligible. If you like idle games or are just on the fence about them I absolutely recommend this one.

Lost progress but had fun
An update deleted my progress and I was sad and didn’t want to play the game and grind again but before that I had a blast

I used to play this game a lot but now it doesn’t work anymore no idea what it’s about but i was thinking maybe the iPhone 14 pro but who knows. I wanted to play it again but I was saddened to see that I couldn’t do anything if I destroyed the world then it would go back to right before, I even wiped my save but I couldn’t even buy the first upgrade after the goblins. Sad to say I can’t play anymore even tho I’d rate it a 4/5
A Good Idea
This isn’t a game you can leave, you have to stay in the app or your production is terrible, and you need to check in every 4 hours or production stops completely. I couldn’t get far enough in the game to report on its grind, but if the opening is anything to go by, it can’t be good.
Best Forever-Game
Bets longterm game period. There was a lot of care put into the details and dialogue that clearly shows. Resource managing and unlocking progression never gets old. Name another mobile game that is free, runs offline, actually has a decade worth of content to unlock, all without any (progression) updates since launch. The ONLY complaint I can have is that events are TOO micromanag-y and take up 3 days of your life if u want top prize. If you like sim games, idle games, etc, you will greatly enjoy this
Unplayable
Since the update early this month the game won’t load, and no update since has rectified this issue, unfortunately I decided to delete this app.
Great game, Ad glitch
The game is struggling to find ads to play, like when I click on a button to play an ad and get a reward it just doesn’t work, easily 5 stars if this was fixed.
Great game but events are pay to win
I really enjoy this game and I think overall its great however im quite upset at the fact it’s impossible to get the too prize in an event unless you pay real money. During the other tower event i tried so hard to get the top prize by playing this game about every hour except for when i was asleep and constantly keeping the 8hr bonus from watching an ad up at all times and still was only able to get the 3rd highest prize despite having most of the upgrades maxed. Please fix so I don’t need to pay $14 just to get a prize in a game lmao i already watch ads for this game almost everyday and it’s really annoying no matter how hard you grind it it’s completely impossible to achieve the top prize besides paying real money

For the time it takes me to cause an apocalypse, like a stats and record section, there could eventually b a leaderboard but for now i hope to soon see a simple stop watch like thing showing how much time it took me to start an apocalypse and a count down for long my apocalypse will last something to tell me how long my last time was while i try to beat that time or make it efficient or w/e. 😃 and spiffersthegrand is right 😓😞 at the least make the event pay option cheaper and after a minimum of around $30+ all other pay options become diamond cost, 250-1000 as always, we can still support buying lots of diamonds just cuz we want to 😎🤩🤑

Suddenly lost everything
Loved this game until I came back from a break and lost all of the skins I’d earned and all of the extra rooms I had permanently unlocked only now I have to buy them again. Ridiculous. I’ve spent money because I enjoyed it and now feel ripped off.
Gramps nether store
I finally was able to unlock it but now, I can’t purchase any of the upgrades in the store. I click the icon and it just pulls up a blank empty page and it’s annoying. That aside it’s a five star.
Progression takes a while
First off let me start by saying, I do like this game. The animation is really great and I love the things all the cultists and champions say when you’re on their floor. My only gripe with the game is that it feels like it takes forever to progress. I won’t lie to you, my last apocalypse took me about a week and a half to do because I didn’t want to “prestige” for such a little amount of souls. It’s even more of a deterrent because of new events where you need items that are really only accessible if you’ve played for quite a while. While I understand it’s maybe for balancing purposes among other things, it’s really discouraging to see that newer players hardly get to experience the events. I just wish progression was a little bit faster so I didn’t feel like playing the game is a chore. It really sucks to open the game after a few hours just to build one new floor then have to shut the game off again until you can build another floor. Like I said, I DO like this game but it just feels like a grind for the newer players.

Who ever man, woman or sorcerer that concocted this game is an evil genius. best part about this game is it doesnt feel rushed nor does it really force you to cave into purchases. There are ads but thats a small price to pay for decent boosts. Awesome game. Definitely was made with love and a touch of evil.

The game is amazing but it won’t let me advance because I need “mage gremlins” or something but I already have them, please fix this.
One issue
After I started the apocalypse for the very first time and had to start all over again I have to build a magic workshop to make a resource but I have to upgrade the mud farm to make said resource however I need said resource that I don’t have to upgrade and get resource

Love the game great way to pass the time but I’ve gotten to a point where I need to upgrade something but to upgrade that I need to upgrade something but I can’t unless I upgrade the first thing
Perfect Idle Game
Great art style, great mechanics that make you strategize, funny dialogue, no forced ads, basically a perfect mobile game in my opinion
Developer unresponsive
I can’t say an unkind word about the game. It’s funny, addictive, and is built around a fun and surprisingly deep resource management system. If that were all, I’d rate this 5-stars. Support, however, appears to be nonexistent, which is inexcusable in my case because money’s involved. Four days before writing this review, I made an in-app purchase of some stuff that disappeared a few hours later when the game crashed. “Restore purchases” doesn’t work, but my real money’s gone. I’ve been polite and patient about this, but have received no response at all to my two emails advising them of what happened. I’m kind of hoping they’ll see this review and finally get back to me in some way, but who knows?
Fun, but expensive
Let’s start with my general opinion - this game is great for an idle (or idol) game. However, there are a few too many upgrades that are paywalled, and not cheaply either. And while the game does allow you to earn diamonds over time, they can’t purchase a lot of the things that you might want. Now, purchasing to remove ads, fine. Purchasing a Diamond generator only with money, fine. Purchasing Quality of Life upgrades like casting spells automatically, fine. But some of these paid upgrades should be available without purchase, or more costs should be reduced. Even without events, we’re looking at something like $60+ on the basic, available from the start stuff. Plus another $14 CDN for every event to unlock that specific skin. A mobile game like this is not worth that kind of money. I really hope games like this will start adopting some form of a “pay cap” system which makes it so that after a certain purchase amount, further content is either greatly reduced or free. I’m ok with you charging 2-5 dollars for an event. 14 is just ridiculous.
