Very secure and easy to use.
Useless
the app constantly logs out and asks for full log in details, currently I can’t access online banking due to a ‘technical error’ that’s been ongoing for 3 days. The app itself is useless and is confusing to navigate and find important information. In terms of savings you’re far better off with the likes of monzo as they actually have good interest rates.
Vital for customers who don’t live in Northern Ireland
The app works very well and it’s easy to check your balance and make payments. The only improvement would be to allow cheques to be paid in by photographing them as some other banks do. It’s inconvenient to have to post them to Belfast.

Electronic Mailbox missing in the app
Well…. I’m using this app long time. Recently got an e-mail that have some new documents in my electronic mailbox. There is even instruction in the e-mail how to find electronic mailbox for desktop app users and mobile app users. So I did login clicked menu on the right bottom corner and….. there is no electronic mailbox at all. Simply nothing. Spend 20 min to find and from my end mailbox is vanished. As a IPhone user I checked App Store to see if there is some update on the App but my app is up to date.

Great customer service
No longer possible to log in
Trying to log in to the iPad app now is now impossible unless you have Danske ID installed on the same device. Stupid system. And, as a 35+ year customer no longer fully living in NI, testing my relationship with Danske to the limits.

New to Danske
What can say is that it’s not as upto date with features as the AIB and Ulster Bank Apps who also especially the former have apps for Apple iPad and Apple Watch. Also in the categories for ins and outs, why don’t you have subscriptions and internet shopping? Also why isn’t Apple Pay here ? It would be handy if anyone loses their debit card. Pull your socks up Danske Bank

It doesn’t work!!
Having banked with Danske (formally Northern Bank) for 50 years, I must now find another bank! This app has suddenly stopped working, telling me I need to update - I try that but it just takes me round in an impossible circle. I can’t get into my account any more! Sorry to leave, but I need an account that I can access!
Top 2 improvement requests
My top 2 improvement requests: 1. Push notifications when money is paid INTO an account. This would be super useful. 2. Make debits on the transactions screen red, rather than the default Danske blue colour. Credits are already shown in green. Make debits red.
Not ready for release
Not developed enough to be released. Much more difficult to use than old app, and no option to return to the old one. So many glitches.

Tried to log on to the mobile app and I encountered a problem it was asking me to use my old 4 digit passcode to set up a new 6 digit passcode which I have already done and the old code is no longer usable. When I try to fill in the old code in it says wrong code, 4 chances and account will lock. How am I supposed to use an old code to set up a new code which I have already set up? Baffling to say the least. Stop rolling out updates that make the app unusable.

Endless error messages to the point where it’s practically unusable. Rubbish.
Reconciliation - please make it easier
Can you please amend the reconciliation on the app so as a user can see all unreconciled items together (i.e. same as the website) instead of having to scroll through numerous entries to find unreconciled items.
I love this app!
I love how simple and straightforward this app is. Whether I want to open a new account or rename my accounts it literally takes seconds. Good work Danske Bank!!

Great to see the app constantly being updated, new features and bug fixes. Works effortlessly. With the new features it’s so easy to complete most of your banking at home!

My apple phone won’t accept this update as it onlly goes to IOS 15.8. I have been with danske bank for 40 years. To FORCE this update on customers is unacceptable, 😡

Now unable to use app. Went to go into app. Message telling me to update app, but my phone can’t install update as phone isn’t new enough! Now can’t access bank account
