Love this app!
I was skeptical at first but now I happily pay for the guidance this app brings to my wardrobe. Checking if things are in my palette and match my style is really fun. I’m sure I could even be using it more but even what I am getting out of it is worth it to me
Bad Product
The app doesn’t do what it advertises. Doesn’t help style and put outfits together. It’s just trying to sell expensive apparel for retail stores. Don’t waste your money. Specially if you’re petit under 5.5 feet tall
Nice Suggestions, but Omits Plus Size Stores
This app is good. My only problem is that it omits selections from plus size stores like Ashley Stewart. The pieces it recommends are too plain for my taste.
Wants money before you know it works
They for you to go through this whole sign up process and then demand money before you can see if their ai process works or is useful. Offering a trial day or 2 would be helpful so I would see if paying for the app is worth it or not. Without that, I wont use it.
Not As Good As It Used To Be
I’ve been using this app for around 3 years. It was pretty good when it first came out but just lately the outfit suggestions are awful. The AI chat gives me recommendations that are nothing like what I asked for and it keeps recommending dropshipping stores I’ve never heard of and wouldn’t buy from. Unfortunately I’ve cancelled my subscription.
Fantastic
I have tried many apps but this one is by far the best one. I have my entire wardrobe in it. It gives me styling options from my own closet. The match function is awesome - I take a picture of an item when I am out shopping and get immediate feedback on whether it is the right color, shape, fit. I am obsessed with this app!
TOTAL SCAM
Do not purchase! They’re charging me almost $30/month for a $5 monthly subscription. Never even downloaded the app. Impossible to cancel!
Pretty Impressed
I was apprehensive to try this, and I’ve become pleasantly surprised. The technology is quite advanced and accurate. The only thing I wasn’t too pleased about is that you have to pay extra to get more colours in your palette. I think it should have been included with the subscription price.
Careful with tricky subscriptions
I downloaded this app on my phone using my apple account. I quickly realized it was not what I needed and canceled the subscription. I was charged $10 for the first month and I’ve been charged $28.95 over a couple of months. There is no email communicating why the change in fees and I in fact am being prompted to subscribe when I log on which led me to believe I was no longer subscribed. The app no longer appeared under my subscription list or expired so I genuinely believed this was resolved. Only upon further scrutiny of my accounts did I realize I’m being charged more than double the initial fee with no email exchanges or option to opt out via the app/ Apple ID. We have to be increasingly careful with subscriptions but this is not ok. I genuinely thought I had unsubscribed as there is no evidence of the subscription and the premium features are not available to me.

The Style DNA app has helped me figure out my body shape and color type. There were clothes in my closet that I didn’t wear as much, and now I know why; it may not be my color type or a bad fit for my body type. When I buy any clothing I always check with the app first. The app has saved me money because I am buying clothes that look and fit nicely on me. It has also helped with buying the right lipstick and eyeshadow colors. Thank you, Style DNA.
Rip off
Give me my $ back. I paid a 1 time fee that gave me nothing and still wants a monthly fee to do any kind of action. Customer support returns 404 error. Don’t buy!

Such a great idea…
I had high hopes for this app, maybe too high. It keeps giving me the same frumpy looks even after changing my age and style. But the part that annoys me the most is the shop my style search function doesn’t work. Say you want to search tshirts you get shoes, pants and everything else under the sun and even those things are not in my recommended colors. I see the possibilities of this app but it has a ways to go especially for the price.

This app has a lot of potential, it gives you a great overview of fashion and color choices, it can improve and it will be impressive
Easy to delete closet items and usability issues.
This app shows real promise, but there are some major usability issues that need to be addressed. The most frustrating problem is how easy it is to accidentally delete items. While scrolling through my closet, I tapped the trash icon by mistake and instantly lost an accessory. There was no confirmation prompt, just immediate deletion. Because of this, I also lost multiple outfits tied to that item. Months of work curating looks were gone in seconds. That is incredibly discouraging and completely avoidable. A simple confirmation dialog before deleting would fix this. I want my item back! 😭😭😭 On the positive side, I appreciate the Kibbe-inspired body and style analysis. That feature feels thoughtful and aligned with how people actually think about personal style. However, the AI styling component needs significant improvement. When asking for outfit suggestions using items from my closet, the app does not effectively incorporate my actual pieces. Instead, it returns vague descriptions or item numbers, which makes the experience feel disconnected and unhelpful. The AI should visually and clearly reference the items I’ve uploaded to make styling feel personalized and useful. Overall, the app has strong potential, but these issues… especially the delete function, undermine the user experience. With better safeguards and a more refined AI styling system, this could be a much stronger tool.
Money making machine 🤑
I’m sure the app and advice is great, but when everything you want to do costs more on a subscription, I’ll take my basic colour analysis and use free AI tools to do the rest.

This is such a helpful app. Learning your color palette is a game changer and for me, having a guide tell me what clothes work for me is incredibly helpful. Makes online shopping easier for sure.

I’m enjoying this app and it’s helped me analyse my own wardrobe. It’s given me confidence to try braver choices
Nothing works like I expected
I just downloaded this today, and paid for a 12 week subscription. I don’t have a problem paying for it, as long as it does what it’s supposed to. My first complaint is that I don’t think there were enough questions to really determine my “style”. For example, when I took a picture of my favorite items in my wardrobe to check for a “match”, none of them gave me better than 60%. These are clothes I know I look good in, and I know fit at least one of the options in the style quiz. None of them supposedly matched my color palette, even though all of them were in my color palette. Second, my AI model is quite thin. I am not. I purchased the version where you could put your measurements in and get an extended pallet, and still… my model is skinny. I know things look good on skinny people! One of the big reasons I wanted this app was because I wanted to see how it would look on an apple shape. My model is far from apple shaped. Then I tried to interact with the AI assistant. When I asked how to change my model, it gave me two different options of how to change it (neither worked) before it finally gave up and said “oh yeah, no… You can’t do that on this app.” In the end, I will take 12 weeks and investigate. I doubt that I will find anything or valuable about this app. If I do, I will update this review.

Getting worse every month
I started using this app two years ago and I found it to be very helpful in finding colors that best suit me. There were a lot of features that were available for free back then and now, less and less of them are available. I even messaged the company to inquire about it because I paid for a complete color analysis and honestly, it wasn't worth it. I paid $11 just to see more shades on colors that will look good on me. The app today (3/7/2026) is not the same app it was 3 years ago. It's so limited now that it's just a nuisance.
Subscription needed
Yeah, the subscription being necessary and the selections of outfits limited. I’m sporty and apps keeps suggesting dresses - would be useful to ask first what do you consider your style to be and expand from there. For my simple use - just need the colours, not going to subscribe.

people pay BIG BUCKS to get this done in person but i’m so glad i found this app. i had no idea i was wearing the entirely wrong color palette for my skin. now i feel way more confident in every out for :) you have to get this

I cancelled my membership and they kept charging me for a year after. When I contacted them and sent proof, they said, “Sorry, you have to cancel in two different places so we can’t refund NINE of those months.

You should try it for a while
Overall it’s ok… I wouldn’t pay much for it and I won’t use it for more than a year I will look for something better. What I like: It tells me my colour palette and my body shape. It tells you what pieces of clothes would be good for you before you buy and show matches in your closet . It was useful for me to know which of my wardrobe items were match so it helped me to purge my closet. But also it depends on a lot of the pictures you take of your clothes, if you can find them online great, but if you have to take the pictures the match might not be consistent. It depends on the light or the angle. What I don’t like: what bothers me the most is that I want to see what outfits can I create with the clothes I have in my closet after the purge. And I find it does not propose outfits with all your items only some of them, if you want the app to consider them you need to re upload the picture. Even though it’s supposed to know where you are and what season you are on it might use items that are for summer in winter for example sandals, shorts etc. So I ended up removing these to force the app to use my winter clothes, but instead of creating new items with what was left, those outfits were deleted and not replaced. Another thing that I noticed is that If a Cardigan is tagged as for example a blouse and you want to edit the tag, you can only indicate it’s a sweater, leading the app to wrongly match these items into outfits. The overall it’s ok, but if you are not looking to buy new things but mostly to use what you already have it might not be worth… it has a lot lot of improvements pending to be done . Another thing you can’t do is for example you see that an item in your closet is not in an out fit you can’t ask the app “create outfits with this item from my closet with clothes I already have in my closet” or you can’t say o I like this outfit you have created with my clothes can you also add some earrings or I need a belt for this pant add a matching belt, or indicate I can’t use a belt with this pant remove these belt and add another accessory. Or this is a scarf not a hat, please fix category. So many things need to be fixed when it comes to using your own closet. So it’s kind of ok but I think I need something to make outfits for me with what I already have instead of trying to take me to buy more things, specially if I’m already paying for the app. Another thing you can’t do is tell the app for example show me outfits of clothes to buy within a price range. Because if you show me an outfit of new clothes I can love it, but I won’t pay 300$ for a t shirt. So I need affordable options.
Game changer
I never realized that I was a color girl!! My entire wardrobe consists of neutrals but when style dna suggested a blue, I went for it and omg I could have never guessed how good color looks on me. I feel like I have so many more options now when purchasing clothes. I’m seriously loving this app.
Scam!
I don’t have an account nor did I authorize withdrawals but they keep charging me for a subscription I don’t have. They haven’t canceled yet despite several requests and following the instructions. SCAM AND/OR FRAUD

Didn’t Meet Expectations
I signed up for the free trial and added the £9.99 palette feature, hoping for a personalized style experience. Unfortunately, the app didn’t meet my expectations. The interface is clean, but the recommendations felt generic and not tailored enough. I cancelled my subscription easily, but there was no clear message about refunds, which was confusing. Overall, the concept is great, but the execution needs improvement.
Can't uninstall
Why I can not uninstall this app ? Its suspicious!!! So i downloaded this app but it says it didn't go live for men clothing yet. Decided to uninstall it for the meantime but it can only be removed from home screen and the app is still there !!!?!

I have always heard of people getting their colors done and finding what works for them. This app does it! Now I know what to look for when I am shopping!
A poor attempt at driving sales through partners
Tried this app and will continue to play with it through the month, but honestly it feels like a thinly veiled attempt to drive purchases through partner stores to monetize on kickbacks. The ai chat is worthless asking it the question “what should I wear today” yields outfits with pieces I don’t own. Furthermore it frequently refuses to generate outfits for pieces I want to know how to pair more effectively from my closet. This isn’t a technical challenge just pure bias towards increasing sales. I would expect that from a free service not one with a monthly charge. Furthermore it will recommend outrageous outfits. For example it suggested I wear a cardigan with nothing on underneath. I will say the flesh tone gap through the cardigan was funny with the AI visualization.

Agree this is not transparent when signing up
As per another reviewer I signed up for the trial and as soon as you do that you get another button flash up and it’s not obvious until you’ve clicked it that it’s a 3 month subscription. I haven’t received a welcome Email either to clear this up so I’ll be emailing the support. I thought I’d trial it but there’s not enough categories to resonate with my style and have reworked most of the suggestions. Perhaps this works for some people but I’m struggling with it and would appreciate a refund for the 3 months as that wasn’t my intention. Anyone thinking of trying this please be aware that this happens before you automatically click the button in error
