Got my mojo back
I was feeling frumpy and old. I have gained weight and I am just uncomfortable and I needed to feel better fast. Of helped. Of course I am able to put outfits together on my own, but this app shows me how to actually wear the clothes I own in different ways. I love using the app to create the outfit of the day. It’s really fun to see my own pieces styled. Of helps me to love my wardrobe and keeps me from overbuying.

Great concept and very good execution so far!
This app is ideal for those of us with a closet full of good intentions. You buy what you like, what fits, what looks good and what’s comfortable. Then you have no idea how to style any of it. You spend mornings staring at racks with that deer in headlights expression, am I right??!! Outfit Formulas helps you sort it all out, one day and one outfit at a time. The app is pretty simple, very flexible and allows you enough creative freedom while keeping you focused and eliminating dressing paralysis. By providing you each day with a structured formula, using wardrobe basics you probably already have, Outfit Formulas eliminates dress stress, and actually makes choosing what to wear fun! In the 8 months I’ve been using the app I have worn so many pieces I hadn’t worn in years. Also, I have identified what I will never wear again because I’ve established a personal style and that’s made parting with things quite easy. I think with most apps, and this one is no different, there’s always some room for improvement. Nonetheless, for me, this is a game changer. I now have a closet filled with outfits that bring me joy instead of stress. And I’ve enjoyed seeing a community of women who have completely changed their attitude about dressing. It’s actually fun! You should try it!
Inaccessible!
I wanted to like this app, I really did. But it is inaccessible for users with low vision. The app does not correctly support iOS Dynamic Type and larger accessibility text sizes. When my system text size is increased, text is truncated, controls are pushed off-screen, and some functions become inaccessible because the interface does not scroll properly. This creates a significant accessibility and usability problem. I can’t believe this is happening in 2026 in an app I’m PAYING for!!!
Too Many Updates!
Literally every 3-4 days when I go to open the app it requires an update. It’s a bit excessive. I like the app for outfit suggestions but the AI functionality isn’t great, if you let it remember items you’ve styled before it will then keep suggesting those items (“you could swap your white tank top for your cashmere sweater, wanna try that”…uh no because it’s summer and 90 outside…). I don’t think I’ll renew after the year is up.
Love this App
I absolutely love Outfit Formula! It has become part of my everyday routine, and I use it every morning when I get dressed. One of my favorite features is getting a text the night before reminding me to plan my outfit—it makes my mornings so much quicker and easier! I also love that Outfit Formula doesn’t just help with clothes; it helps me put together the whole look, including accessories. I feel much more put together without having to spend a lot of time figuring out what to wear. An unexpected bonus is that it has actually helped me shop less and shop smarter. Instead of buying random pieces or outfits just because I like them, I’m much more intentional about buying clothes that work with what I already own and can be mixed and matched. Outfit Formula has simplified getting dressed, helped me make better use of my closet, and saved me time AND money. I highly recommend it! ❤️
This is the worst app
First of all they trick you into signing up and won’t let you out for a year. So fine, they had my $100, let’s see if I use the app at all. 6 months later and it is totally useless giving shorts and sandals ideas for all days. Packing list is worthless too. What money I’ve ever spent.
Takes the guess work out of getting dressed
I love the way this app is set up. Easy to use. The formulas can be tailored to where you are. The lists help you build a wardrobe you actually want to wear. Getting out is so much better when I feel more “put together”
Something changed
I’ve been a subscriber to GYPO for years, long before the app. I always loved the formulas and looked forward to each season and actually enjoyed getting dressed every day. But since this app came out and all the changes have been made, I find the outfits boring, sometimes downright unappealing. I’m finding myself using it less and less. I don’t think I’ll subscribe much longer.
Frustrating IRL
I love the concept of this app SO MUCH. The ongoing frustration I have is that I constantly fall in love with an outfit suggestion (the very specific one that’s being suggested) and 9/10x it is sold out. I know there is the *shop more options* feature but that doesn’t help me much when I’m in love with the first version of the outfit being suggested in the app. It is currently June 6th. I need to see the July calendar NOW so I can buy all the seasonal items in stores BEFORE they sell out, peak season. If you don’t want to show the calendar, fine. At least make the list of upcoming pieces available so we have a shot at buying them. This concept is a beautiful one in theory but EXTREMELY frustrating in real life as it’s not solving my problem… it’s just creating a new one. If this improves within the app I’ll be happy to come back and update my review to 5 stars. 6/11 - More feedback: Based on the pictures submitted by users the app could do a better job and helping people understand how to dress for their body shape. It appears to me, as an observer, a lot of users take the daily suggestions as a copy & paste formula not understanding it doesn’t look good on their body type. With a few tweaks to their choices they could actually look amazing. That being said, you can see in the same pictures, many of the ladies have been given a confidence boost from using this app as a guide.
Fantastic, engaging and so user friendly!
The Outfit Formulas App and whole styling experience has been outstanding. The daily visual outfit formulas with details to shop my closet or links to shop for all different budgets, sizes and colors, definitely changed my way of getting dressed and feeling great in my clothes! I could not assemble outfits nor did I have time to figure it out. Now I get a a month of outfits at a time, and reminders the day before (if opt for) comes with the prescription of outfit of the day and links to the app, so I can think ahead! I love the private Community feature, it allows me to share or just see the way others have styled their outfits for the day! I really like how it provides the weather for my location and lots of options to accommodate the temperatures! Using OF has given me confidence to dress in current fashion and feel great about how I look on any budget! And it has opened doors to see how others do too! Such an amazing community of women who face the same challenges and feel great as a result! So many functions with the app, like AI to allow me to see myself in an outfit before I try to assemble, and it can alter easy. And outfit selfies can be stored for later reference! Some many bells and whistles really make getting dressed so fun!
Will continue to charge your CC after cancelling
Do not recommend; this company will continue to charge your credit card annually after you have cancelled your account. Every year, I have to contact my CC company and dispute the charges.
Love “See it on me”
Seeing how I would look in each outfit through the “See it styled on me” feature located in “Tools” on the app has been a real game changer! It was exciting to see that I actually CAN wear stylish outfits I had ruled out because I thought were too young looking for me or not my style. I love being able to know exactly where to get the pieces to create my favorite outfit selections each month. And I love the feeling of not dreading upcoming events because of having nothing to wear. I feel pretty much prepared for any occasion now. I gave 4 stars instead of 5 because the app has been late making the “See it styled on me”feature available three different months in 2026. I like to see how I would look an outfit before deciding which items to purchase and sometimes by the time the “See it styled on me” feature gets up and running, the shopping list has already been out for three weeks and many of the exact items are sold out. It would be really nice for that feature to be activated on the 15th of the month when the new outfits are released.
Disappointed in changes
Used to be brilliant, but I think greed got the better of the developers, and now it’s basically AI. The Facebook group has gone (fortunately unofficially replaced by regular users). Don’t really see the point any more - the AI is slow and glitchy, and it’s boringly formulaic and far too expensive.
The outfits are hideous
While I understand the outfit examples are simply meant to be a formula, the color options don’t match the seasons and the outfits seem extremely outdated. For example, why are we pairing dark jeans with a brown ribbed short sleeve sweater in the middle of May with clunky heeled sandals and a taupe blazer? It is literally a capsule wardrobe mixed and matched each month without checking to see if some of the items actually make a decent outfit. The outfits from last year are way better and on trend than the ones in the app this year. All of the suggestions to dress things down are the exact same also, swap a blazer for a cardigan or nothing at all. This app isn’t worth the money personally. I guess if someone has zero sense of how to put an outfit together this may be helpful, but for someone that has any fashion knowledge on capsule wardrobes or color seasons this is not a helpful app for them.
I Love Outfit Formulas
I’m an OG OF user. I tell everyone about Outfit Formulas, especially AFTER they compliment my Outfit of the Day. I plan ahead, substitute what I already own and always leave the house feeling stylish. Even on work at home days, I am styling my OOD look.
Another update fail for me
Apparently the new app update is supposed to have a community feature. Mine does not. Good news is that it didn’t freeze the calendar and make the app unusable this time. Absolutely not worth the money.
Weather adjustments needed!
For those of us who live in colder climates, it would be helpful if the app would make adjustments to shifts in weather patterns. For example, when snow comes to Colorado in mid May, Sandals and tank tops are not practical.
Charges after canceling subscription.
I used the free 7 days and cancelled before…these people have charged me 2x. On the phone with Amex to block them!!!!!
Love This!
I’ve never been great at figuring out how to put outfits together and my mind goes numb when I look in the closet and try to figure out what to wear. This app has become my favorite! I used the closet staples list in the app to figure out what my current wardrobe already contained of the staples and where my gaps were. I got rid of most of what I have and never wear using Ali (AI helper) to help me decide what to keep or to donate. Now, every morning the app gives me an outfit for the day using mostly my closet staples with a few seasonal pieces mixed in. I leave the house feeling more confident and with an extra pep in my step. I love this app!
Charged for free trial
I started the free trial and immediately knew I didn’t want this app. I cancelled it immediately but it looks like they still charged me $50!! Do not do a free trial!!!!
Update 3.0.1 on April 22 is broken
The latest update does not allow you to look at tomorrow’s outfit or any future outfits. It is stuck in March. Not helpful 😞
Nothing exciting
I would like to give this a 5, but seeing just clothes doesnt really inspire me. I hope someone could wear this and put a video or picture of them together with the posted clothes. Otherwise, give you ideas on what to wear.
This app changed my life
I was skeptical at first but after 3 months I am obsessed. One less decision to make. Each day a formula and example is give. For what to wear that day. You can customize it by using the colors that work best for your skin tone or favorite patterns. The app even tells you what to have on hand in your closet or what to buy. They even will provide links to buy the different pieces. No real decision making required and you have clothes that you will wear.

My Addiction
I have been using this for over a year and am now a lifelong member. I use this every day, my confidence soars because of the DAILY compliments I get from each piece, and each outfit works great for being 42 in education. I highly recommend this app and service to EVERYONE!
AI Slop
What used to be a helpful app has gotten bogged down by AI features that don’t work. I like the concept of adding my own items, but what’s the point if the AI won’t use them to generate the outfits? It’s just infinite incorrect generations. The AI is ruining the app
Love the Suggestions
I enjoy this app a lot but I wish it was a little less expensive. The ideas are super helpful and stylish, and I have bought several items from their clothing purchase suggestions. I’m hoping they partially monetize it by partnerships with sellers instead the future. I do really like it and would recommend the app-I just wish it was a little less $
Outfit Formulas is Life Changing!
To say I love this app is an understatement! I have never looked as good and put together. Saves time, money, and makes shopping so much easier!
AI Assistant doesn’t remember anything
If you are in a chat with the AI stylist and you have to flip to another screen in the app the whole conversation disappears and you have to start all over again. The styles they are proposing don’t meet my taste and there is no way to change my preferences.

I rejoined after a couple of years away from outfit formulas and I love the app. Easy to navigate. I’m in Canada and have noticed that the shopping links take me to Canadian websites where available (love that)! The favourites button makes me feel like I have an additional capsule tailored even more to my tastes and style. The calendar allows me to navigate through different months and seasons.
Wonderful and life changing
If you want to reset your style and the way you dress, please try this app!! It was life changing for me, my style and the way I shopped were at a standstill. I always bought the same, I felt not confident to try new. This App uses AI to show you what the outfit looks on you, which encourages you to try new ways to dress!! And AI has helped me to put together the clothes I already own every day. No waisted time picking stuff out, no dumb shopping you never wear! I Love it, highly recommend it, getting dressed and styled is fun again!!
denim almost everyday
The app will ask you what your color season and what you need to dress for day to day (work formal, work casual, work from home, errands etc) and your color season, but then recommend formulas that are completely unsuitable to your needs or coloring and will make you work with their AI bot to “personalize “ but that doesn’t help you visualize what an outfit is. It just asks you if you want to switch out jeans for a pair of pants and a sweater for a blazer. Not worth the money.
Shocked that I finally like my closet
Outfit Formulas is a must have app for any woman who feels like she has a closet full of clothes and nothing to wear. The formulas are so easy to use and have genuinely helped me look and feel better every day. Love it!
This is a scam
**In response to the developer’s comment below: I have contacted you and you refuse to help. You keep dismissing my claim. I downloaded the app and canceled the same day through my apple subscriptions, but I’m still getting charged monthly. My Apple receipts show a zero charge because I canceled within the free trial, but my credit charge keeps getting charged $19. Please don’t fall for this!
