Wow , just wow, must have for all music lovers, especially music around the world !
This is my first review for an app that actually adds value to my life as an existing adult! I love listening to background music that keeps me going and engaged. One day I downloaded this app and started moving around the country in the app and first started listening to radio stations around random parts of the world. I landed on this radio station playing live I guess which played like random French songs and so many cool old songs similar to ones you already know but more variety. Maybe I’m just raving about this radio station but the value that this app provides is amazing, if an app like this charged money I would definitely buy it as it is like having access to be anywhere in the world where there is a radio station! Thanks radio garden!
Viciously aggressive
Cool app. Too bad the ads are so vicious. See term coined by Doctorow, C., that cannot be printed here. Deleted.
Android app better
Android works better for example bloomberg 11 30 works at android but not on apple version please fix it
Used to be good
The past several months full screen ads cover the entire app and no way to close the ad. If I want to change stations I have to restart my phone.
Does what it says.
The app is unusable due to ads unless you pay the monthly service fee. If you’re willing to do that, it’s not bad.
One of a kind application
I do have a few gripes, though the uses and accessibility of the app easily topple any frustrations I may have. I love it. It’s undervalued, in my opinion. I wish I could get a job with this company.
Uses cookies for personalized marketing
I prefer impersonal marketing. Deleted.
Great app that needs some tweaking
I love this app, think its super cool, love how it makes me feel getting to listen to real radio stations around the world. The only complaint I have is about the ads. Occasionally I’ll get an ad that pops up and is impossible to get it to go away. Other than this, though, the app is perfect and great on iPad.
It’s …ok
The adverts come thru when the station doesn’t. Can’t get any stations outside of the UK despite living in Ireland (EU)
Ads render app in-navigable
Was a very good app until they plastered it with irrelevant ads that are hard to bypass. Still very cool to be able to listen to global radio.
Radio Garden is the best
Best internet Radio app ever. All I need is an internet connection and I’m listening.
All ads
Not able to use the app. Ads pop up and cannot be removed.
A gem of an app
I’ve enjoyed using Radio Garden for years. I normally default to a few countries, but decided to browse the « center » of the map this morning; I was disappointed by the implicit perspective put forth therein. I hope the developers can recognize that true neutrality is rarely possible.
Pointless for UK users
I only downloaded this as a UK resident so I could listen to radio in Germany and Cyprus, however, because of the legal battle, any radio outside of the UK is blocked. On top of this, it continues to be blocked if you have a British phone but are actually in another country.
Obstructive ads lately
It’s a lovely app! The design is great. But recently the app started to show ads full screen without an option to hide the ad and there is no autohiding of the ad after a while.
Thank you for bringing the world closer to me.
Whenever FM radio gives me the feeling that someone is on the other side of the music. Thank you very much for developing this app, which makes me feel warm all the time.
Abhorrent Ad Functionality
I’ve been using Radio Garden both on mobile and desktop for a while now. The ads on the mobile version have not bothered me as it’s a free app, until now. A recently circulating Pinterest ad does not allow you to leave it without closing Radio Garden and restarting it. This needs addressed immediately. I have a screenshot of the offending ad which displays a fake “X” within the ad’s image and can share upon request. This is an infuriating design meant to drive ad revenue and is repugnant at best. This practice of allowing these companies display these ads in such a way must stop.
Good app but needs an offline mode
I gave it 4 stars cause its useless without internet but other than that its a good app to listen to music on
Another great app that sucks
Too much cutting out and too many ads. This app is almost useless.
Warning for UK users
This is an amazing app, and was quickly tempted to get the premium version, but only then was informed STATIONS OUTSIDE THE UK DON’T WORK due to copyright. This might not be the developer’s fault but they must make this much clearer. I’ll keep the one month sub to enjoy UK range but obviously cancelling after that. Very sad.
Really enjoyable !!
I love this app not only is it fun to tune in to but I also play this game with my mom and I where we randomize our location and try to guess where we are based on the geography and radio, we're almost never right but it's super fun nonetheless !! :D
The app no longer works well
The app was reliable for more than a year. Only one or two occasions when one of the saved Favorites failed to work, and then only for a day or so. Now, none of the Favorites will connect to the station reliably, if at all. No assistance when you send an email to the provider.
False radio advertising (good for discovery)
you can find some radio stations but some are actually some peoples itune music content mixed and mashed up and streams from non radio stations some with poor quality and im kinda saying that theres better radio stations apps but this one has a punitive advertising atmosphere where you cant easily find proper radios stations or at all at first with weird somewhat bad talk radios or some that are not actually talk radios but they sound like them and there's imposters that play random songs or are just mimicking radios or streams with old songs classics and fresher songs/hits and theres a-lot of streams like that in random places of the world like if you switch to different radio stations and then switch back to the previous one you were listening to. the previous one and other one switches to completely different songs depending on what place your hovering over this doesn't apply to all stations or streams. and apple music radios are the only proper radios that i can discover which is the only good thing i can find using this 2-year due for an update app with some unofficial and undefined radios or streams some annoying and some on repeat or bombarded with ads some unavailable but still play ads so theres a lot radios that are deceiving and A small portion of the online only streams featured on radio garden do amount to acceptable listening. expects from real radio stations. However unless you know these few actual radio stations' exact broadcasting locations on an unlabeled map or by searching the call letters, neither of which will you be able to do to find a previously undiscovered station, they can only be found on radio garden after shifting through countless imposters. So many options yet hard to find 100% of what you want. this lowers the value and usefulness of an app also layer additional advertising to streams that are already saturated with ads as well as to streams. sorta a low quality browsing experience for legit radios. the apps stated purpose is to actually help users to find radio stations but i get entertained easily so i dont ask so much for certain things and enjoy some stuff even if it lacks something in it. the only bad thing about this app is that theres garbage non radio streams copyright restrictions that has geolock streamed content blocking submissions and certain streams and radios and a weird set up due to the discontinued app being flawed and it's obvious this is not the best app for radios but its still fun in my opinion. stars because its free and endless its glitchy for some people to use i think. sadly no convenient carplay option but a special global radio experience and a unique app indeed the music sounds like where it comes from in certain places in the world great concept. i found fred again scared USB made in 2026 jan 23 in this app on apple music but sadly some channels on radio garden dont get updated ever since two years ago
Only uk only
There isn’t much to the app in the UK cause it only lets you do UK territory which is annoying. I think it should be international but in America you can do it anywhere. Why is it not like in the UK? I read the statement and it’s not what is the point very disappointing
My favorite way to discover music
This is one of my favorite apps. But the ads just keep getting worse and are honestly a danger to people who are driving. I want to pay, but i feel so abused with the overwhelming ads i honestly dont want to give someone my money because they keep getting more annoying. Just stuck dealing with it because im used to abuse. I give money to people who dont resort to mob-like tactics to get more from me.
Best Radio!
This is an amazing app that has introduced me to so many new genres of music!
Purple Screen of Death
I loved the website and wanted to save stations, but I can’t give the app version a good rating. I’m on iOS 18.3.2. It works fine after a fresh download/the first time, but opening the app a second time (whether force closing or waiting 10 minutes in another app) leaves it stuck on a purple screen; no music or globe, only UI features. I can only hope it gets fixed 🙏
Amazing app, but needs CarPlay support
This app is really good and it’s very intuitive to use. There are so many stations available! The only thing I would suggest is adding CarPlay support, I love listening to different radio stations whilst driving and having to select one before starting is a little bit inconvenient. Devs PLEASE add CarPlay! Keep up the great work!!
If you’re from the uk don’t bother
This app used to be good but now I can only listen to radios from the uk
Too many interruptions
The music constantly stops after a couple minutes because of a pop up ad. I have to pick up my honey, open it, then X out of an ad and press play again. Actually dangerous while driving.
Best app
Fantastic app
Lacking
Still can’t find my station
Excelente!!
Consigo estar conectada às melhores estações de rádio de Angola, especificamente de Luanda, sem nenhuma interrupção. P.S: sugiro apenas um melhor design gráfico da app. O resto é excelente!
Copyright is cringe
What’s the point if you can’t listen to stations around the globe due to copyright law
Awesome app, pity about the scam ads
This is a medium-well polished app with the basic features you’d expect. The opportunity to listen to radio stations around the world is something I am honestly thankful for. Docked two stars for scammy ads that hide the close button and occasionally are indistinguishable from malware popups.
Best radio app
I filled out the station request and not a day later it was added, this app is goated
Sliding
Such a good concept but they’ve leaned too far into sleazy advertising and ridiculous subscription prices.
Almost perfect: missing CarPlay integration
I really like this app and have been using it for years, however, it would be perfect if it was CarPlay compatible. There really shouldn’t be anything preventing this, so not sure why it’s been so long and it hasn’t happened yet; I am partly posting this so the developer can see that it would be valued by users. Otherwise, thanks for creating such a useful tool!
Uk issue
Can use if you live in the uk
It’s alright I guess
It’s cool at first but then it gets boring, cool for showing your friends.
Wish I could cast!
I LOVE this app. I started using it after we moved back from the UK to help with re-entry shock. Immediately after that, COVID hit, and this app was something that helped on days we were feeling cooped up. Now, I listen with our son, so he can explore different music. One thing I really wish we could do is cast via AirPlay or Chrome’s cast feature. We have a better speaker in our front room that would be great for weekends when we’re getting chores done or having friends over! All that to say, thank you Radio Garden team for your work, it’s been a godsend!
Nope.
The ads are wildly intrusive, and $25 a year is too much to pay for what is essentially just an interface to someone else’s content.
App was brilliant before stopping users listening to stations outside the UK
Used to be able to listen to every station around the world now can only listen to UK stations. Kind of defeats the purpose
not that good
This used to be a good app when it would let me listen to stations across the world now it will only let me listen to UK stations and says other stations aren’t available outside of UK
Pointless
What is the point of this app for those in the uk if we can’t use it for other countries. Absolutely useless.
The best
You can listen it every station on the world that’s also
Lacks of updates
It use to be one of the best out there, that’s if not THE best. Until they stopped updating the channels, very disappointing.
Sleep Timer missing
Indeed a very upto date app but missing sleep timer function hope developers take a not
Doesn’t work outside the uk
It’s great if you only want uk stations. If you try to get stations in other countries unfortunately it won’t let you
Was OK, now deleted
This was a great wee app, worked well for UK Internet radio and, with a VPN, for countries outside the UK (licensing issues stop listening otherwise). Latest update has introduced full-screen ads with that really tacky and irritating tiny and/or hidden 'close' button. Nope. Deleted.
