- App freezes or stops playing unexpectedly
Gracias chicas y muchachos
Vivo hace mas de cincuenta años en Virginia, EEUU. Las emisiones de Radio de la Ciudad y los tangos me mantienen conectado a mi herencia Argentina! Gracias a todos!
Cuts off
Stops, starts, stops ,starts stops…… Less than 10 ft away from WiFi.
Latest update
Now the phone is after 2 mins of listening any station overheating.
Improvements needed
There needs to be a car mode interface while driving and i should be able to scroll all of my favorites instead of clicking “show all” to get to all of them.
No track names on app
Can’t see track names on the app but can see them on website
Great app, best on an iPad or high quality device
I really enjoy this app. The sound is very good while I listen to 1010 Wins news. Sometimes it stops working but it starts up again in a few seconds. The sound is just perfect, especially on an IPad.
Holy ad cancer Batman
Immediately upon first launch I was met with a full screen popup ad with non functional close button. Had to close the app completely to close the ad. Tried a few more times and it was about 50/50 ads vs functional app, then the app asked for a review. So, here I am leaving a one star review.
Better than shortwave!
Appreciate being able to connect to stations around the world, and not having to support a big tech giant. Thanks!
Pop up ad nuisance
Allows pop up ads on iPhone that can’t be closed.
Good app but “Eats” battery
Good application and has a wide selection of stations. Easy to use and good quality. HOWEVER, drains phone battery fast. I use iPhone 17 Ma Pro. In five hours the app had used 39% of the battery. Looking back and similar usage each day. Approx 4 to 5% per hour used. Developers please correct!! If this is corrected would be 5/5 rating.
Mehh👍
Very good minus the ads 👍
Straight trash
Constantly freezes/pauses and then gives you a pop-up letting you know your phones been infected with a virus. Shady AF business
Nice app. Excessive battery drain
New release 5.11.8 quickly draining battery on IPhone ios 26
Ad loaded visuals
Careful not to accidentally sign on push ads
Jumps around
Too many screens which pop up annoyingly. Also tends to freeze so that you can’t stop a station from playing. Needs simplification and refinement.
GB preseason 👏Steelers
I love to listen and they make it soexciting as if you were at the game 👏🤣
Useless App
Useless App
Comercials
The commercials at the beginning are okay as long as they are staying short and as they are not starting to appear while hearing a radio station. It’s acceptable because I appreciate that the app is free. But please stop the adds which require any click or action before the radio starts. When using the app while driving it is destructive if any click is required after choosing the desired station to hear.

A returning customer.
I am glad to have the radio.net app back on my new phone. I utilized this app several years ago and I remember that it was a good experience having the ability to access stations which oftentimes aren’t available online anywhere except for on radio.net! Many thanks to all our hard-working friends at radio.net.
Garbage
The music doesn't play when you press the play button, it's completely silent, and some kind of white notification pops up periodically. In general, garbage
Word of Mouth
When you punch above your weight, word gets around quickly. We enjoy KELS Pirate Radio from Florida's Gulf Coast where a Pirate named Gaspar used to ply these waters hundereds of years ago. Come on down. The water's warm and the beaches are incredible and uncrowded.
Good, but
It does give me access to stations, but it is swamped with ads and that makes it very slow
Limitations
Having begun to use this app only ten minutes ago, this request to review is very premature; however I will say that the app appears to be limited, compared to the old app I used, which has now been withdrawn (can’t remember its name). I used to find Rokit radio’s Jazz Central on there for example, and am unable to do so using this app. This is the only observation I have of it at this point. Thank you, however, for providing it free of charge. I like the idea of being able to find podcasts on it.
JSB
Love your station!!
Invisibility
Not all games broadcasted
It gives you what you want
Any radio station from around the world you can think of is probably on here and you do not have to pay monthly unless you want to have ads removed but I don’t always find them as an issue
Too Many Pop Ups Affecting Functionality
The app has real issues now. It’s been overloaded with these pop up ads, affecting the functionality of the actual app. I’m closing out pop ups then needing to hit play again, only for the app to stall and then I hit play again and I get another pop up. Round and round we go until maybe I get something after trying half a dozen times switching stations and trying play again. I’m thinking of deleting and trying a different app.
Keeps dropping out
Keeps dropping out, even after refreshing an uploading latest software
Radio net
Great way to hear different stations
Too many commercials
It is a paid service but we still have to endure way too many commercials. What’s the point!
Gotta Love It!
Tres sympathies
What happened to Boccherini?
Suddenly many of my favourites are for PREMIUM MEMBERS ONLY or no longer available. Thanks anyway. AND if you continue to babble commercials after EVERY SINGLE PIECE, I shall DELETE you again. Please be fair.
Enjoy
Truly, Mar Hill Network has been a blessing to my spiritual journey in keeping me on the right path. I began listening to Mar Hill when I was incarcerated and now I out I still glean from the fountain of life that you broadcast. With very fibber of my being thank you for all you do. God bless!
Love listening to
The Game
Why is there 1940s on 1920s?
Years ago, the station was wonderful with 1920s radio music. Tonight I’m listening to it for the first time in quite a while, and I’m hearing things from the 1940s. That isn’t fun.
Great
Incredible app. Thank you. Only reason I took off one star was it always stops when using it on carplay.
Buggy
Always shuts off
Language learning tool.
I love using radio.net as a language learning tool. My favorite French station is Ici Paris - pour musique et bonne humeur. After having spent several Summers in Graz, Austria, I enjoy radio Steiermark for keeping up my under standing of the dialecte and enjoying Austrian folk music.
Radio?
I thought radio was a free speech? As in no fees. Oh I guess gotta make a dollar in this so called “land of the free”.
Battery drain issues
Pleased with the app's performance when I use it with CarPlay. However, many hours later it's still active in the background (showing in battery usage), and is a real battery hog. The only way to stop this is to restart the phone.
Goodbye !
“Pay a subscription or we sell your data to 192 different companies”…. Erm, no ? Easy choice to delete this. Happy to pay a one-off charge, but I’m not supporting the model now in place.
Trop de pub ! 😡
Trop de pub ! 😡
Awesome app for radio
Easy to use app has most stations has allowed me to listen to great stations from around the world.
Buggy
Pauses for no reason when I go to certain Facebook pages. CarPlay app doesn’t load after a few uses and the app has to be reinstalled. Been going on for months.
Radio Caroline East USA and Radio Caroline West USa
Have to use Tunein to listen to the above mentioned stations.
No audio
I’ve downloaded the app to listen to KC radio station but there’s no audio heard The ads come on every time but no livestream of the station. What am I doing wrong?
Need more time
I think the potential for internet radio is vast, I just need to get better at navigating the stations and the ads.
