I couldn’t download the scenarios
Needs clearer objectives
We really like this game, and we usually play to solve the ‘who did it’ question but we rarely win the game because there always ends up being other objectives in order to win, it changes with each case and they do not tell you what they are until the end when you make your guess. For example, we solved one and guessed correctly at the murderer but then to win they said we missed the weapon and some other objectives that were not defined at the beginning. Kind of frustrating but we still enjoy following the clues and solving the crime.
Bug
Il y’a un bug avec le lieu K pour le scénario le dernier bain. Ce qui a empêché complètement d’avancer jusqu’à la fin de l’enquête.

Missing cards?
In some scenarios it tells me I need spesific cards like ?- cards dream-cards and more, and I don’t have them and in the box it self it shows me the cards I’m supposed to have but it doesn’t shoes the ? Cards and dream cards. How do I get them
Too many bugs
Me and my friend group were playing “The Divine Will” and major sections of the plot were skipped over. We were never able to discover anything about a nun/monestary, never had any options to save character 23 from being beheaded, and never were able to actually resolve the puzzle in the end (no solutions were accepted by the game because it was apparently incomplete, but it gave us no options to continue the game). Quite disappointing since the game was otherwise fun - will revise my rating if they ever address this issue!

Прикольные продуманные сюжеты, особенно где высокий уровень сложности. Момент обыска занятный и интересный. В нынешних реалиях было бы удобнее чтобы в приложении отображалась карта с открытыми персонажами, возможностью возврата к диалогам и сказанным фразам. Жаль нет возможности сейчас оплатить к базовой версии игры новые сценарии через апл, только докупать доп коробки разве что, чтобы новый сценарий поиграть

App doesn’t work
I can’t play the game, it asks me to allow my camera, but it never asks!! And the option isn’t even there in my settings. So I can’t even play. Disappointed.
4 stars for the game, 3.5 for the app
I’ll admit that at first I was conflicted by this game. I purchased what I thought was a board game. But is it really a board game with an app element or is it a video game with some paper peripherals? I’m still inclined to see it as more of a video game, similar to a toys-to-life game (Skylanders). It reminds me of Murder Mystery Machine which you can find on Apple Arcade, but I’m sure you can think of many other mystery cop procedural games to compare it to. You investigate scenes, scan cards, read dialogue, and ultimately find answers to questions using your reasoning. Although the cards are attached to a board resembling a cork board, it helps to keep your own notebook handy. It is supposed to take 1.5 hours to play but we usually take 3 sometimes 4 hours. Smartly, like most video games, you can exit and save your progress and continue later. The preceding was all disclaimer. I rate the game highly in terms of fun. We played it for hours nonstop. My criticism of Murder Mystery Machine was that they didn’t shell out money for voice actors. On the contrary, I’m actually glad Chronicles of Crime didn’t do that here. Reading the text goes part of the way to reminding us that this is supposed to be a social game played in a room with your friends and NOT a video game. Play the parts yourself! Because the game also supports community-written scenarios, in future not having voice acting will prevent the custom scenarios from feeling inferior by their lack of audio recordings, although I do ask that the developers check their scenarios for typos regularly or have a “report” button for players when they see one. As far as the game goes, I really wouldn’t change a thing. The app? At least it’s bug-free as of April 2021. It’s missing some key features in my opinion. 1) Crucial. Landscape mode. I have a large ipad Pro with a magic keyboard stand. It opens up much like a laptop. This app only operates in portrait mode. It’s cumbersome to say the least. 2)Annoying. Cards don’t always scan. Sometimes you have to hold them upside down. This might take a minute. Couldn’t I just tap to slide out a dialer, punch in the card number printed on the card and press the button for star/magnifying glass/person/location? It’s a very old-school “cop” thing to do. 3) Would greatly improve actual play experience. I know you’re very proud of the VR thing. I own a VR phone viewer. I would like to use it, but not at the expense of having to rely one player’s smartphone for the duration of the game. This game is awesome using an iPad. The only part that isn’t better on a tablet is the crime scene investigation. Couldn’t another player open up the same game in progress on their phone and use the viewer while the rest of the game runs on the iPad? This would also ensure that no one else can “peek” while the player has the headset on. Then we could all return to the playing the game on the large iPad or laptop. This would be a simple matter of two devices with the app connecting via bluetooth. The larger device would simply tell the smaller device to open up Crime Scene ## in viewer mode. 4) Wishful Thinking. There’s got to be a better way to create a notebook. Perhaps an app one could use with a template notebook in PDF that can be written on with an Apple Pencil. Or maybe one could photograph the card layout and annotate them virtually in a bubble map and link cards together with virtual colored “string”, label rows and link according to location, create suspect data sheets. Let’s replace paper in just this one instance. Yes, this means going all in on the virtual stuff, I know, but I own two iPads, everyone here has a smart phone, and we have a cheap VR viewer headset. Let’s use them all in the service of one game! That would actually be cool. We’d feel like Noir detective from the future. Thank for all the fun!

Seems pretty fun, puzzles are challenging. Not all family members enjoyed it though, my son forgot his PJs and was upset so that fouled the mood.

Allow notifications!
You need to make sure you allow notifications when you first open the app otherwise it can’t request access to the camera and is then useless.
Camera doesn’t work
It never requested permission and is not even an option. I have a year old iPhone on the newest software, and my husband has a brand new iPhone with the newest software. This renders the game useless to me.
Solid app, but any chance of a save function?
Love it! But would be even better if you could save progress on the app
QR code and landscape mode
The app does really need a landscape mode for iPad, and to recognize the QR code quicker. It’s impractical to use the ipad on portrait and holding the card very long for it to be recognized.
fun games, but
1900 and 1400 are pretty fun and i have enjoyed figuring out the crimes. but 2400 is abhorrent with only 2 scenarios and complete with spelling errors and grammar errors. i think that 2400 has a lot of potential but when i bought it and wanted to play, i felt like i had been scammed.

Great app to play with a great game. My only request to the developers is to please add Chromecast support! We play using our large TV and currently have to use a really long cable. Chromecast would be perfect! Thanks.
So much potential but...
Wanted to like this game, its well written and execution is nearly there. The main problem is often you will connect all sorts of information and potentially know the solution but may not know the exact steps to get there. What this game really needs is a hint function for things that are critical steps for leading to the next part. Often times you need to ask something specific to get more critical information and that one small detail can derail you. There needs to be a better solution guide too after you solve the case. My suggestion would be specific key steps that would be green and showing if you completed it, and red if it was missed with a hint, and ???? If you didnt get that far yet like something like this below. Ask so and so about this clue (complete) Maybe you need more info at location B ???? ???? ???? This game requires too many specific steps without enough guidance or ways to ease that specificity.
Camera doesn’t work in app?
Can’t seem to get the camera to work on iOS 14.4.2, not even an option to allow camera access in settings. Had to use an old phone to play this brand new game 😑 After playing on an old phone, it was a blast though. Am I doing something wrong?
Polish Version
Hello, I love your game, it’s great to play with a group of friends or family. I think I like Millennium series better than original version, however expansion pack Noir is just lovely, and I think this part is my absolute favourite. So I have a question, because I play this game in Polish language not English, do you know when or if expansion pack Welcome to Redview will be available in Polish language?
Unable to look at crime scene
I’m unable to look at the crime scene without it bugging out and flying all over the place without moving my camera
Fun game, make sure your battery is full
This game devours your battery like no tomorrow. If you plan on playing, make sure you have at least 75% charge. App developers: if you change the design to only access the camera when needed instead of keeping it on 100% of the time, you will fix this. In an hour of playing the camera is only actually used for what, a minute? You’re keeping the camera open for a whole hour and it’s caused me to have to stop playing part way through because it killed my battery.
Ridiculous in app purchases
It is an absolute outrage that you have to pay for more episodes after buying the main game You inly get a few plays out of it otherwise! Total con!
QR super slow.
The concept is fun, but the execution is a bit flawed. Used two different devices, in a well lit room, and 50% of the time the QR would struggle to read for at least 15 seconds. This is abnormal for QR.
Fantastic Game
Brilliant game, we love it. Genuinely don’t understand the mixed feedback on this as it’s given us lots of fun and I’d recommend it to anyone who enjoys a game with their friends/family and playing detective!
Great game but VR got buggy on iOS 14
VR mode graphics are jittery and shaky. Makes the game impossible to play. Gotta give this 1 star for visibility even though it’s really a 5-star game.

QR code’s for objects don’t work
Seriously disappointed on this one. I can’t play the game because every single QR code’s for the objects don’t read. It simply says « This is not a code from the game »
VR mode currently makes it unplayable
Just got the game and super excited to play, but the graphics when you try to go into VR mode bug and spin constantly and you are completely unable to see anything going on. Maybe a bug introduced in IOS 14?
Reading vs listening
I don’t know if I just didn’t see this option but I wish I didn’t have to read what the characters are saying. In my opinion, I think it would be better if we can listen instead of reading. We do like the game a lot.
Bugs need fixing otherwise awesome game
it’s annoying i really love the game but with all the bugs its really hard to enjoy it more. feels like those of us that backed the game are going to end up having a worse experience than someone who buys it later on. will stop playing for now until some of the kinks are sorted.
Fun while it lasted
A great idea, and fun while it lasted, but after you play the six scenarios the game is worthless. It seems like there should be essentially endless possibilities with the number of characters and locations and clues etc, but once you’ve played a story, you know what happens and all those materials are worthless now. Paying $5 for one extra round is a ripoff, especially considering how poor the grammar and spelling is in the DLC. Hoping for much more content to go with a really great concept!
Ignore the cheapskates - excellent game and app
This is a really excellent product well made and well supported. £5 for a couple of hours quality time with friends or family is hardly a bad deal. New stories don’t just make themselves. Unlike other apps this is really a board game and people forget how tiny this market is relative to digital games. I love this game and am very happy to see updates
Doesn’t work on iPad!
VR spins graphics constantly when investigating a room. Unplayable!
No camera access
The new version never requests access to the camera! You cannot even grant it access via the Privacy menu in Settings as apps only show up after they have requested access. Help!! **EDIT** Found it only requests camera access during the tutorial. If you try to skip it (as I did) it will never request camera access.
