Thank you TTW
I am so thrilled to have come across this wonderful app, I have searched many times and never came across this app until recently and believe God himself sent it. I was searching for a way to learn and comprehend the Bible and what I once thought was overwhelming and not revalant to my life has become my favorite thing and I’m so excited everyday to discover more about Jesus, The Father, The Holy Spirit and it’s sticking and making sense in my life!!! Thank you Lord for teaching in a way I understand!!! ❤️
Offensive
I’ve just listened to Sandy Adams in 2 Chronicles 21. His description of taking a funeral of a man who drank himself to death and then saying what a wasted life he led I find really offensive. It is obvious that Sandy Adams has never had a family member or close Friend who has struggled with alcoholism or addiction. If you were to ask 9 out of 10 addicts what they would like most it is to be free of this illness because that’s what it is an illness but it’s not that easy and so to call somebody’s life wasted because of an illness is appalling. Would you say the same about someone who struggled with MS and couldn’t do much with their life, no he wouldn’t. So why say it about someone else’s illness? It is an offensive comment to thousands of people from someone who has obviously never walked that journey themselves or with someone close to them.
Very good
So. Far so good. I like how they explain each verse. It helps me get a better understanding and makes it useful for all ages. Great app
Deuteronomy
All of your plans are really good and I’ve been following it for a long time, but I say this out of a place of love and constructive criticism- but Peyton’s attempt to try and make Deuteronomy “fun” is cringe and very difficult to listen to and learn from as a listener. I truly hope you consider re-recording it as I cannot finish the bible plan and it’s not his jokes but rather an attempt to make the book interesting and comparing the lessons in it to “wedgies” and “noogies”, which is suitable for a much younger (pre-teens) crowd. I did however love Romans and have actually done that plan twice so do know I love you app, just not the way Deuteronomy is being taught. Kind regards
Great Bible app!
Fantastic interpretation of hard-to-understand Bible stories! Highly recommend!
Gratitude
Thank you for all the hours and years of work it has taken to bring this app to life. Because of you I don’t just read the Bible, I study it. I understand who is talking, the era and what is happening during that time. All things important to understanding the meaning of His Word. For this seventy one year old woman who came late to truly knowing God, thank you from bottom of my soul.
Suggestion
I really love this app and the short insights Kris shares. It would be even great if there will be a transcript as well of the portion of the sharing about the Word. It would be easier for a person like me who likes to take notes. With the technology available (i.e. AI) i think it is doable. Thanks TTW team.
Bible plans
On the whole the plans are well presented (at least when Kris or Peyton are doing the talk) and provide some useful backstory and context to difficult parts of the text. It is presented with enough challenge and the use of humour is appropriate and effective. It encourages me to seek further clarification when the text is not easy to understand.
Like the content
I enjoy the content but the plan does not keep track of what i have heard. Finished Journey 1 but shows i am @ 65%
Love the guidance
This app has really helped me in my walk to know and understand the Bible. The reading of the chapter along with the great commentary to help explain it in a way I hadn’t thought of when trying to read alone is awesome!
Chris and evolution
Chris, you better get your head on straight might even be handy if you started believing in God‘s word instead of evolution that makes me sick.
Content is great but that guitar!
You content is amazing and the way it is explained is fantastic. However the guitar is extremely distracting and too loud and sometimes stops me starting a plan knowing it’s going to blast in my ear and I need to try and pick out your voice through it.
Great content, incredibly slow app
This app is unbearably slow once you click an item. It takes up to 30 seconds to load the content. It would be an easy five star rating if the app worked without any delays. Please fix it.
Easily understood
This app takes the guess work out of what the Bible is saying. It points out parts I never noticed.
What???
I was listening to Romans 9 New Testament in a year. It was a great teaching on election then at the end, after the young lady says the wrap up, Pastor Kris’ voice reruns taking the Lords name in vain saying that someone found him. I have no idea why this clip is present. I listened to it twice to see if I missed a running joke that someone was after him but found none. I am a very liberal individual but to hear a Pastor use God’s name in such a way was odd and off putting. Perhaps those is a valid reason but I do not know what reason you could have.
Thank you
Chris Langham’s recordings are way to fast and frantic. I was using 1:1 speed. The music is also not conducive to meditation. Awful change and not an improvement. Slow down Chris.
Psalms series
Could you remove the lady saying “join us next time…” with the poppy jangly guitar music? It is so out of keeping with the mood and spirit of the moment as you reach the end of reading each psalm. It really spoils the moment. Furthermore, having her say “join us next time” isn’t going to make do so. It might even stop me.
Two Thumbs & Two Big Toes Up!!
I love this app. It has helped me greatly to better see and understand the Bible. I hope someday Pastor Chris and team create a plan on the parables of Jesus.
New update makes everything inaccessible
Can’t get past first screen. App is now useless.
Can features be added?
I am really enjoying the journey with this app. If any features could be added: Apple Watch app, so you can carry on your journey without needing a phone. Text highlighting as it’s spoken, this visual aid helps when reading and following along listening to the narrator. Being able to click a word in the text and the look up option lets you get to the dictionary feature of iPhone and iPad. Hope my suggestions help? Keep the good work up, loving what you have done already. Alan in Wales
How to search
I’m doing a plan on the Bible app. And it’s not playing the devotion. So I came to TTW app and I cannot search to find the plan? Please help I’m looking for Roman’s Explained Pt 3
TTW
Absolutely love TTW!
Plan 6
TTW is not what it should be. For example I can’t get out of Proverbs 36 on to plan 6.
Great
Simple clear and dun to listen to
May God bless you all
I don’t know how this is free but I feel blessed to own this. One problem, it takes wayy too long to open up sometimes
Great App!
Loving it!
App not working on iphone 8
Cannot log in again after signing up. Content not loading the first time I signed up and entered the app
Fantastic Teachings- Wish I Could Favourite
I really love all of these teachings but I wish I could favourite and save specific lessons that I found very impactful. Otherwise a great app!
New features
I love TTW and I've been using it with a group of brothers from church since we first found the studies in the You version bible app. There we had the ability to share comments with one another on the days study in the form of text which almost all of us did. I was so looking forward to this feature coming to the app but instead we got voice notes. I was sceptical at first but I thought I'd give it a go and as the organiser of the group I've tried to take the lead in leaving notes for the group but I just can't get the guys to engage in the voice note idea, I get the idea but in practice it doesn't really work. Please bring text notes to the app live we used to have in You Version.
Great News
Thanks to all who put this wonderful helpful bible app together. I really appreciate, and enjoy it. Awesome 🙌🏾
2 day wonder
For the two days it worked, it was great. Didn’t want to work after that. Such a shame, such a good idea, guess I will have to look else where.
Voice notes repeatedly having error uploading
I’ve been using the app for half a year now because of the voice note function that You version doesn’t have. Recently I’ve encountered errors uploading my voice notes and after 3 minutes of recording, the voice note is not recoverable. This has become quite frustrating and I’m wondering if it’s worth just going back to You Version and writing out a text commentary instead of risking the voice note uploads failing. It’s a great app and I really love the idea, hopefully the bug can be fixed!
Matthew Ch. 24
Is it possible to hear Kris Langham’s viewpoint on Matthew chapter 24?
Awesome!
This app is so helpful not only to bring the Bible to life, but gives so much wisdom and understanding for everyday people like me. I am so thankful to have it!
All white male app 😫 💤
No female teachers or teachers of colour? Some diversity would make me more comfortable using this app. But an all white male teaching app means I won’t be using it.
Great little Bible study every day
I’m loving this app. I love that you can speed the speaking up and that you get a Bible reading and some thoughts on it every day. The thoughts are practical and to the point and not theoretical. Just one improvement suggestion … I could do with the notification staying on the app all day to remind me to do my study for the day. I get a notification at 7am but it disappears.
Updated plans
Please can you leave the old versions up as I prefer them. Give us the choice of moving to the new updated version or continuing with the original as it is very frustrating when you suddenly update a plan with a totally different teacher when people are still trying to work through the old version. I was really enjoying the app until you started doing this now I am reluctant to start any new plans. Thank you.
Early Morning Devotions
Each morning I wake up about 5 am, make some coffee, get my journal, and settle in to a chapter in a book I’m learning about in TTW. Inductive bible study is something I really appreciate and connect to, so this format feels a lot like that method. I love it! As I listen, I journal some facts, impressions and, literally, some devotional thoughts as well. I always end in a written prayer and sign off with Amen and sign my name. This makes it my devotion or letter to the Lord. I’ve been doing this for almost two years and with TTW for a little more than a year. I’m 65, and I’ve been a believer for about 50 years- crazy! Thank you all at TTW and all of the supporters, and please remember that you are making such an impact for the Lord! Thanks again! Steve
Listening with kids
Love everything about this app except the teachers who keep cursing to make a point. Can we stop with words like st**id and idiot and the likes? It takes away from the holiness of the time we’re spending doing Bible study.
My account was deleted
Not sure what happened by on all my devices I was signed out of My account. And so I tried to log in again but my account. Was gone. Couldn’t even reset my password
