Excellent App!
I’ve been using this app 4-5 times a week for years, averaging around 40,000 punches a year. I can say the app works well and is reliable, and even gets the occasional update, such as a new “High Volume” setting, a male voice, and the addition of new combos/kicks. My ONLY REQUEST is the option to add in a warning sound to signal a round is ending soon. You’ll often hear the sound of sticks striking together 10 seconds before a round’s end in a real bout, and that would be perfect to allow me to switch to a punch-out flurry without having to look over and see how much time remains. Better yet, the ability to set when the warning sound triggers (such as 20 seconds before the end of a 3:00 round) would make an excellent app perfect. Side note, I like that it shows you how many days punching you’ve accumulated. There may be an upper limit to the counter because in 2023 I lost several days, but I think I’m over a week now in punches thrown. Crazy!!
Good app but
Was using the free version, worked great, some bugs but nothing that bothered me much as I am just a beginner. The app updated and I lost the voice combination. Why they didn’t leave that feature and instead reduce the amount of rounds for the free version. Paying the small fee for more rounds is the better way to go. Poor monetisation decision. Deleting the app now
Good and easy
This app has a round timer and calls out punches to throw. You can pay $6 to unlock it. No monthly fees for trainers that I don’t want or need. A couple shortcomings for -1 star: you can create multiple workouts of different rounds / lengths, but you can’t pick different punches to be called out for each workout. Be nice to have one workout that was all jab / cross, another with jab / cross and hooks for example. Also you pick punch call outs from a list which is tedious. Be much better if you could just add punches and combos by tapping 1,2,3 for jab, cross, left hook for example. But this app is simple, easy to use and effective.

Gets The Job Done
Works fine. 2 major issues I experience. If you leave the app the callouts are disabled upon returning (regardless of any background settings selected). The other issue is that the app timer appears to be off by a bit. A workout will say it’s “15 minutes” but be longer. I start the workout on the app and on my Apple Watch and the workout is always longer than the time indicated. It’s not a huge deal but I have to guess how long a workout will be when adjusting the settings.

Buggy & doesn’t work
Awful, Siri speed can’t be changed. The workout names disappear instantly. No custom punches/combos. It’s super limited. Also, it adds a workout to your health data anytime it’s opened. Deleted. Getting refund.
Simple but good
Would be better with kicks. Works to get some stress relief and wake up first thing.
Doesn't even work.
Can't see or hear the combo callouts in the app. Why does it have to be so difficult to access and use what the app Claims it does? Pretty much all these boxing apps are terrible, and very user unfriendly.
Allenamento
App ben fatta , però bisognerebbe aggiungere la scelta delle combinazione durante l’allenamento.
Boxing
The best boxing app ever it tells you how to box And keeps track what time is it and how many rounds you are you doing
Awesome app but started crashing on me recently
Can’t use it anymore if it keeps crashing
Used to be good
I’m not happy with this app any longer because they suddenly without warning require a log-in and I have lost my custom workouts. That option now requires you to purchase the app. I used this less than a week ago but now I can’t do anything that I used to be able to do. It’s not the money necessarily but not even getting the option to keep my info or a notice that it was changing was crappy.
Great Bixing App! But some technical issues
I’ve really enjoyed using this app. It’s has made creating my own personal boxing workout easy. I look forward to using it every morning. Unfortunately, it has a tendency to force quit right in the middle of the first round. If they can fix the glitch, I’d give it 5 stars.
Great boxing workout app
Great way to track your 12 rounds of heavy bag boxing
keeps crashing?
latest version crashes upon open
If you get no sound, restore purchases
A regular part of my workout routine. Would be 5 stars if their customer support was more responsive.
No sound
I used to love this app until I couldn’t hear the combo’s being called out. I’m not sure what happened. The app is vibrating but no sound. Please restore.
Nice but has bugs
I use the app all the time, but there are bugs and there’s no way to report them. There’s a “send email” button, presumably to developers, but it does nothing. Pausing when the timer is close to zero crashes the app. When the workout is finished, the button to end it is covered by a tooltip, so there is an annoying delay if you want to restart the workout, which happens often because the screen lingers over from the last time you used the app. None of these are dealbreakers, but it would be nice to see them fixed.
Great
AweSome App
No call outs
Please figure out a solution to the recent disappearance of combo call outs. Only round announcements. So it’s on but not calling or displaying. But still counting punches?!
Great
I'm 11 and I'm learning boxing from my uncle and this app really helps me (ง ͠° ͟ل͜ ͡°)ง
Crashes, inconsistent, waste of $
I’ve never experienced so many issues with an app outside of this one. It is constantly crashing and often times the audio doesn’t play or is choppy. A waste of time to download this.
Please Help
I purchased the full version a few months ago and used it for a while. I pulled it up today to work out and it says I need to purchase the full version again. Any suggestions?
NO SOUND!!!!!
I understand people have to make money. I had an awesome boxing Callout app on my Samsung and switched to apple and figured I’d try this one. Looked awesome !!but at least let me hear the HEAR THE CALL OUTS and see if it sounds horrible or just not worth it. I tried another and it was not good at all. It’s a real shame because not many choices on apple for this sort of app. I only needed to hear the call outs for 2 minutes and would have probably purchased lol. Well nice app other wise I guess.
Limited Functionality
Limited combinations and defensive callouts. Paid version has less features than the free version of the Precision Striking app.
Really improving
This app has been getting better and better. The developer is actively adding new features and fixes pain points quickly.
Limited
App it limited. The ability to add custom combos is greatly needed.
AGGIORNATE
APP BEN FATTA MA CI SONO DUE COSE DA AGGIUSTARE; 1) LINGUA ITALIANA 2) FARE IN MODO CHE LE COMBO APPAIANO IN MANIERA PIÙ LENTA SUL DISPLAY IN MANIERA TALE CHE POSSANO ESSERE ESEGUITE. PER IL RESTO APP MOLTO BUONA
Impressive
No subscription fees. Great call outs of punch combinations! Works perfectly!!
new update screams in your ear
there must be a bug with the new update because I began my workout today (with music playing, thru headphones) and the voice greeted me with an ear-splitting, ground-shaking shriek of a WARMUP with so much feedback and chatter it nearly broke my headphones!!!! Please fix this!!!!
Nearly perfect
The only thing that is missing from this app is the ability to be able to make your own combinations up for your workouts. Any chance of adding this? Devs?
Box
Nothing on it to use unless you Buy the full price app!!!
Help!!
It’s a great app except for when it crashes and semi operates in the back announcing the breaks but not the combinations.
Good Training
Just what I needed. Timers for rounds and it says out loud what combos to make. Suggestion: It would be a great feature to add if there was a section that would count how many punches were done, how many calories burned, and how many minutes used. And that there could be a timeline, lime the apple health app. You can go back however long to see averages, etc.
No features without purchase. No trial of features
You literally don’t know what you’re buying...
Great but needs a little something extra
Love it and works wonderfully with my boxing workouts. My only wish is as follows: 1. Option for 10 second warning (just like in boxing matches). With that one enhancement this would be a 5 star app for sure! I have the paid version.
Sound effects too loud
I appreciate the changes being made, but the sound effect volume is still way too high to be used with headphones. It’d be great to have a volume slider for that too.
Worked great until last update
Worked great until the last update. Now it auto closes midway through round three. Super frustrating.
Fun way to get cardio
It’s a fun app. Does what it’s supposed to do. I wish it was a little more intense :) I guess I could do burpees during the breaks.
Disappointed
The only thing the lite does is makes sounds as a timer........ my regular clock does that. Even if the allowed for calling basic combinations like 4 different sets I might have gone further but this just left me wanting to see more but I’m not paying for something I may not like. Basically not enough evil to bring me into the app to try a minimal workout
Funziona
Ottima app..ti da anche le combinazioni ma appaiono troppo velocemente...utile!
Would be great but...
It randomly stops during my third round, every time. Screen lock is disabled, so not sure what the issue is.
Review of app
App is great but needs update. It should tell you at the end of each round how many punches were thrown. The voice over needs to be louder as well. The 12th round should have a saying “championship round” to hype you up. And at the end it should give you a total of punches thrown.
App
This app is awesome for the reason that I am at to start the workout and the timer puts me in and out of the workout Great
Crashing
Crashes as soon as you click to start workout
Great concept. Would be great to adjust volume.
Love the app. But I listen to music at the same time, would love if I could increase the counts volume without increasing the music volume.
Why is it crashing
Can’t get my work out in
Rounds not recorded
I purchased the app last week. The range of combos and round options are really good. However the app doesn’t record your rounds and progress. Is this going to be fixed?
