I, The Forgotten One
I’ve been playing these games and reading these stories for years, and loved every minute of it. Recently having read “I, The Forgotten One”, I can say without a shadow of a doubt that it’s the best story I have played to date, despite the great quality of the competition. Never before have I been so invested in my character, and I look forward to the sequel. Well done John Louis!
EXPENSIVE
£5 for 1 chapter is such a ripoff
Help T - T
It’s a really good app, but yesterday it crashed. I’ve deleted and re-downloaded twice and it still won’t open up for me :(
Cheese
Great writing, great stories, not so great function. I will redownload once these bugs are fixed.
Great stories but the ad system is annoying
I’ve noticed that for a lot of games, the amount of times where you’ll have to leave for 20 minutes and then watch an ad to continue is ridiculous. For example, the “Life of a Mercenary” game has several moments where you’ll need to wait, then watch an ad, and then only a few screens later the same thing happens. It’s very frustrating.
AMAZING
I have had this for about a year now and I love it, stories can be a little expensive, but you can trial before you buy, as-well as replay them.
previously downloaded games are gon
All the games that I have purchased from more than 5 years ago, before I signed into the app, are now entirely gone. This new update is absolutely horrible, and I have no way to recover these lost games now

Lots of interactive fiction with one big downside
Hosted Games has a great variety of interactive fiction. Everyone who likes IFs is sure to find something to their liking on here. (My personal recommendation is the Fallen Hero series, regardless of one’s preference.) The omnibus is very convenient in that all your Hosted Games purchases are bundled in one app and you don’t need to switch between 10 different ones. There is just one thing I wish they would implement: a cross save system between multiple devices. I prefer reading IFs on my iPad because of the bigger screen and the always visible stat tab. However, I often find myself reading on my phone during commuting. It is really inconvenient that the “save files” aren’t shared between my devices as this means I either have to play the same IF twice simultaneously, or I’m forced to pick one device and stick to it. If the huge amount of uploaded save files would pose a potential problem, maybe you could add a system where the reader has to manually upload the save file of their choice and they can only do that for three IFs at a time or so.
I forgotten one
Can you guys do a sale like a 3 day free trial of I forgotten one pls
Good
I don’t know if I’m missing something but there’s like no save points so if you die you have to restart the entire story and it just takes away from the story, in the first zombie exodus I loved it because when I died I just respawned from the beggining of the last chapter while still being very invested in the story
Price increase
There are loads of stories which are amazing but I’ve found recently that the prices are getting a little bit to much, like lords of infinity at £12 is crazy I understand the writers need to earn a living but prices shouldn’t pass £5-6.
My favourite stories
My storie is death at the rectory I’m trying to find the knife where is it
Never works
The stories never load. It always claims to be a network error.
Still doesn’t work
The game still does not work
In Love.
Every story is unique, you name it and someone will write it and do a decent job. From period drama to fantasy you will find something for you.
Fraudulent
Posted: 18-06-2020 Device: iPhone X Title: Fraudulent Rating: 1 Star I read a story yesterday and it ended as if I was required to pay for the full story. So I purchased whatever the price was and read the story, to find that it ends basically at the beginning. While it might start out looking promising, this app is fraudulent and is set up to rip everyone off! By the looks of things, there are NO FULL STORIES. Paying to remove advertisements is a waste of time, because there are NO ADS!
G
I Wish You Would Make Some Games Free it really annoys when I play some of it and I really get into then it says purchase for more like you might as well just let people purchase the game Before they can play
Evertree Inn-Sanely Good
Loved the Evertree Inn series! Cannot recommend enough!
Extremely Glitchy
To be clear my rating is a not a reflection of the actual games/books but of the app itself. I love Hosted and Choice of games but these applications are terrible and have so many bugs! I purchased a new game that was on sale and it brought me to a screen that continued to glitch out and eventually crashed. The app already took the money out of my account. I tried to restore purchases but it does the exact same thing. So I wasted my money and the games completely unplayable for me now!!!!! FIX THIS.
Fantastic Stories
This app has many incredible stories, my number one recommendation is 'the Wayhaven Chronicles' which i am constantly recommending to people.
Updated review: im having issues
I can't purchase any of the games. Theres an issue with opening them, it gives me a blank screen. Any ideas?
Great game
I really like this game. It’s just so immersive. Highly recommend this one
Some sort of issue regarding opening books
There seems to be a bug with both this and the choice of game app. Whenever I click a book to read, a blank page with the word: ‘details’ comes up at the top of the screen- yet there is no text. There is nothing else. Hopefully this is patched soon. I was really enjoying the app.
I love this.
I have been getting hosted games products for years and years. They never let me down, they offer so many different stories of different genres that you can interact with and make your own. If the idea of being able to make choices in books sounds good to you then I think you will enjoy this.
My review:
Need to make a change to my review. Well written games I definitely suggest trying out is the Wayhaven Chronicles series, i followed the creator on Tumblr and learned the series is maybe going to have seven all together and in the first book the first seven chapters are free to try out. This is honestly an amazing game, the dialogue is so beautiful and witty and you really feel involved in the story. Ten out of ten stars if I could rate it.
