Super easy to use and great app
Terrible tuner
I was tuning my cello for the first time in a while, so I got a tuning app to help me get them right. The app kept saying string too low or too high no matter if I tightened or loosened it. Then I would go to the next string and it would do the same thing, so I would go to the last string I tightened and then it would say it’s off again. It had me tightening strings so hard my bridge snapped!! Don’t get this app, there’s much better and accurate tuners out there.

It’s a very nice app but you have to tap in what string your tuning next which is sort of annoying 💔 but other than that i think it’s a nice little app
Perfect tuner
As a 3 year cello player that still can’t tune a cello, this app is GOLDEN
NOPE
The tuner is too sensitive and when you play a note twice it changes the second time even if you don’t move a peg, I even tested it by playing piano and it changed the second time, if you want a tuner just buy one instead of an app.
Great and accurate
So accurate and I really recommend. I love the fact that it lets you play different instruments like the cello, viola and violin. I play the cello and sometimes it gets off cause it’s always in my car. So yeah I really recommend it but my only complaint is that it doesn’t let you play the guitar Eco alien stuff or the base OK well this is all I wanna talk about bye.
It works sometimes but it’s frustrating
Overall, I think this app is very easy to use, it has guidelines and it isn’t too hard to understand. Although I was trying to use it for the cello and it kept on saying that my tone was too high, then low, then high then low, etc. it was very frustrating and I just eventually gave up on it and I don’t use it anymore.

It seemed helpful but when I used it I did exactly what it said and my string got really loose and came out of the peg we spent an HOUR trying to fix it but it still sounds weird. I have to give it credit though because I don’t think that would have happened if I knew how to tune
Favorite tuner
In my experience, hearing my own instrument helps me to be more precise on tuning in a room full of other instruments tuning. Love this app

First time I’ve ever broken a string, it does not even tune it right and told me to go untell my a string snapped never use this horried app -cello

This tuner app is really good as I have done violin for four years but still can’t tune on my own. The only thing is, one time, it said my string was low and it kept making me tighten it to the point where it broke. :(

It made me break my D string
I was tuning my D string and it would continuously say that it was either too low or too high and I kept tightening it and loosening it when suddenly, my D string snapped and launched across the room. Now, I need to go and get a new string. I am furious.

The A string is too low, so I tighten it a tiny bit and suddenly it is too high! Would not recommend to people who are new to violin.

Spyware?
The app seems to sort of work but it insists on permanent access to the microphone with no option to set for “only while using the app”. Also I think it broke my brand new A-string (and I was being patient, careful and conservative in adjustments). 🙁

It was a really good app and tunes well. But I may have accidentally broken the string on my violin because it told me to tighten the string but it is a good app and I recommend it but i also recommend only getting a professional to tune a violin

A string ‘super low’
Don’t get this app if you’re brand new and using it to tune. I just got a cello and was using this app, it kept telling me my a string was super low and I snapped my string. I thought it was to turn because it is brand new.

So basically I got a cello for Christmas and I was VERY excited. We got everything sorted out and then it came to tuning the cello. I downloaded this app hoping it would work, to figure out. It’s just doing what it wants to do!!!Loosen it, to high, to low. WHEN I HAVE NOT DONE ANYTHING YET!!! I don’t recommend for cello users.

I use this app to my violin and it broke the string because it was tight too much, but it said that the A string was too loose so I tightened it and it just broken in half would not recommend
It helps me a lot
Simply tuner has improved the way I tune and also taught me how to do it at home with out having to go get my violin teacher to do it for me. But, sometimes I think it’s not that accurate but still amazing and I still recommend to people!

Every note is reported as to low regardless of perfect tuning. Misleading
gets the job done
I regularly use this tuning app for violin practice and, well, it works. I’m grateful that there are no ads but the app seems kind of over-sensitive. I swear it keeps picking up the ticking of the clock nearby and says I’m too low even though I’m usually in tune. But it’s a solid app, perfectly functional although nothing remarkable and a little flawed.
