KEEP THE GAME
I plead with you to keep this game active. I only recently started playing within the last few months but I'm addicted and love it. I hate to see it go so soon. I love gaining new characters and vehicles, and I love the challenges.
This game sucks
This is so stupid all you have to do is add your Nintendo account and that’s and you can’t play anything else like that. You just have to add your account that’s so dumb even with people who love Mario Kart can’t even add regular accounts to join that you need a Nintendo switch account. That’s so stupid.
It’s so unique, but I wish signing in was simpler 😔
I love Mario kart, I’ve played it since I was nine, the characters are so interesting and unique, and so are the tracks. It’s honestly almost better than the switch version, because of the rewards you can collect. I never get bored playing this game, but PLEASE make the next update to simplify sign in because it’s SO confusing that’s literally the only problem thanks for your awesome, bug free game have a nice day ☺️

The game is fine but Apple gets mixed up with the game age rating it says the average age is higher than mine and then it says my age rating is 4+ and it’s 4+ too but in App Store it says 9+ and I already have the app

New players and children BEWARE!
Sad to see this game end but it’s not unexpected. I have played since the beginning and it’s turned into a money grab. They probably bled players dry reducing income so they’re flipping us off and leaving. I’ve complained to support multiple times. The monitoring of names is horrible. Offensive and obscene names occur with more regularity than they should, making this game inappropriate for young children. The response from support is, thanks we rely on players to report, but it’s hard to find how to report players making it time consuming and not easy to do. I’ve been playing this game since it was introduced and it has gone downhill. Early on you could occasionally buy a gold pass, play regularly and advance in the game. Since then, the regular rewards and the gold pass rewards have decreased dramatically. Someone starting now will have to spend quite a bit to get to the same point I’m at. It is now a pay to win game. The controls have always been troublesome and can be erratic, releasing items at will or steering the wrong way. The multiplayer races are annoying, slow loading, unfair and frequently crash. They have also added a battle version that doesn’t belong in a racing game. The newest glitch is racers “magically” appearing in front when leading or close to the lead.

This game has been my go to for years. To see it’s going to be going away I shed a tear. I’m going to miss the late nights with my friends shooting each others balloons or the early morning races waiting for work. It feels like a little piece of my routine will be gone.

The selection of courses are well organised, though I would like to see a separate mode where all the courses released in Tour were playable without the weekly tours. Edit: As for earning experience points, sometimes, it doesn’t award you the points. Edit 2: I‘ve just found that when a multiplayer battle starts, it freezes, please FIX THIS. Edit 3: Continuing from edit 2, it does apply to just multiplayer battle, it also applies to races as well, I had to change it to 2 stars due to the issue. Edit 4: On Athens Dash 3T, WHY CAN‘T YOU GO OFF THE SIDES OF THE RAMP NEAR THE END, THIS INFURIATES ME!!! Edit 5: I bumped it up to 4 stars, because it’s sad that service will end by next month. Hopefully, a full version of this will release, with all the content included, because it’s a fun game that definitely deserves better, especially with how much it offered over 7 years :(

I have played this game on my dads phone for many years now That I have gotten my own phone It has caught my attention that this game is shutting down so I am trying to play this game to its fullest extent. Nintendo please add a offline mode or something with the data saved from the online version thank you to whoever reads this.
Little disappointing
Honestly I thought that this would be amazing but I was disappointed in with it takes ages to sign in and make an account. They don’t give you any instructions and it’s confusing. I don’t have a switch and thought I could play it on my phone instead but it just showed my account and said no devices were linked so you can’t play it on your phone. I wouldn’t recommend for kids who don’t have a switch or can’t handle the account making because it takes way to long. Honestly disappointing Nintendo. Please make it more clear for beginners like me and co. Please reply I hope this helped.

Please Fix Multiplayer!
I love this game and play it every day. It’s easy to pick up and put down and I love that it’s free to play. The issue is always with the worldwide multiplayer. Waiting ages for races to load and then there being a problem with the serve that crashes it. My issue with this is that it’s impossible to get streaks in Kart Pro. Every time I start a winning streak and the race crashes my win is not saved and I have to start again. I also don’t like that there are obvious cheats available for multiplayer. Some players are completely unaffected by bananas and other items. I also notice them disappear from the track and then reappear much further ahead after a couple of seconds. It’s not a level playing field which does take the enjoyment out of it. If multiplayer worked properly and cheats were disabled it would be 5 stars no question

Fun but too casual
Great game, very fun, but a lot of the items have been dulled down compared to the previous games. Even blue shells basically do nothing to you. Also, you can’t fall into the abyss and die / off the side of platforms and bridges like in previous games, which makes it less fun. Because of these changes it feels less like a fast-paced racing game and more like a casual game. Still fun though.

Upset at foolish shutdown
Really upset at how as soon as I started to get into this game it’s been announced it is shutting down. The game is still extremely popular, loads of people subscribed to gold pass, it really would not cost too much money to keep it running. The fact a tiny team of people on basically 0 budget are making their own server is clear proof that Nintendo didn’t need to shut down this game, yes maybe cut costs, but just shutting it down is foolish commercially, limits their own earnings and just pisses people off Shame on you Nintendo

Sign in is annoying and glitched
It makes you sign up. I changed my password because I’ve apparently tried to before. Then it still says error when I use the new password to sign in. Unplayable game when the stupid process of making an account keeps you out.

Such a great game!
So I only got this game recently but that doesn’t mean I’m not loving it. It is so, so good with all the new tours and battles. I love the fact you can have friends and send them coins as presents and the shop and currencies are great. I have so many drivers, karts and gliders that I can use in my races. Talking about races, the tracks are so good with their boost panels and tied boxes. Overall this is just such a good game and rarely lags. The only thing I would love for Nintendo to add was items that are not included like the piranha plant, the golden mushroom and boo. But apart from that it is so good and totally free. It’s a must-get type of game. Well done Nintendo!

Drifting is difficult but overall great
Used to be fun but now it is another cash grab game
I loved this game, especially the pulling the pipe to get a new item, but now they removed that and if you want something new, you either gotta use your gems, which are hard to get, or buy it. The tours are boring because of the same old characters and maps coming every single time. On a positive note, the most fun thing is playing with my bros in multiplayer Vs CPU’s, that is the best part about this game.

Love this game, the design and nostalgia but my biggest issue is with all the bugs. There’s been multiple times when I complete a challenge card but reap none of the rewards :(( I’m missing thousands of coins/rubies/ stars bc of this. also I hate the AI of the multiplayer games bc it makes it near impossible to win… I’ll hit a driver with an item, only for them to spawn right in front of me a split second after :/
