Diamonds now expire
I’ve literally been playing this app for years and years. Today I get on there to get my daily check in prize. The notification I have says my diamonds will expire in days. If anyone plays this it’s hard to get diamonds unless you purchase them. I will no longer be playing this unfortunately. I’m very dissapointed. I let my diamonds pile up then play many chapters in a row. Now I can’t even keep my diamonds and I’m forced to use them? No. I will now be deleting this app. I’m so sad.

Money required for better choices
The game itself is fun and I love the idea of spinning things your own way. If you want to play for free though, the story doesn’t ever go the way you’d like- you’re always a downer in every bigger choice option and somehow you and your leading man still manage to fall in love in the end. Makes it a lot less fun. The issue is that to choose a premium choice, it costs 8 to 12 gems when they’re on discount, and gems are expensive. You can go through over 100 gems per a chapter sometimes. There’s an option to play other games to win gems for this game, but that also doesn’t always work out- a couple times I reported not receiving the gems for completed tasks and all their automated support told me is that the system says it went through so I must have received it and they close the case. They also don’t have much options for otherwise winning and earning gems- and when they do, it’s not enough for a premium option. You have to build up your gems for a while before you can spend a couple. But also they have expiration dates. So *shrugs*. Overall, great concept, but unless you have spare cash to buy up gems for their premium choices, it’s pretty dull and takes away all the fun always doing the one free choice.

Si tan solo dejaré ganar diamantes de otras maneras, solo te hace pagar o esperar a que te den como 15 al día y cada decisión cuesta 8,12 y 15 diamantes. En un solo capítulo tienes que tomar como 3-4 decisiones con valor de diamantes y solo te dan 15, no es tan justo. Pero sus historias son muy buenas, ahí si le daría 5 estrellas

Storylines keep you interested but , to get to better parts of a story it cost a lot of diamonds . So can became boring.

I really love the stories! It’s surprisingly immersive & I love all of the options. Stories are well written & interesting. But the amount of gems you need to make the choices you want or to style your character the way you would like is ridiculous. There needs to be easier ways to earn gems/diamonds without spending actual cash. For this reason I will probably rarely use the app.

I like it, however what keeping me from loving it, is the gems… you want me to keep paying for gems; on top of having to deal with ads…. It’s so frustrating that it makes me want to stop. Please fix the requirement for so many gems. Crazy ridiculous.

Graphics looks good. Story so far can go a few interesting places. Worth checking out chapters: interactive stories is def worth a look if you enjoy the role playing games that don’t sacrifice on story (which by the way, is vibing extremely close to 50 shades territory. just saying, lol.
Find one that doesn’t cost as much!
Love the story concepts and having the short stories and then be interactive to you, making decisions, but they charge way too much for diamonds and give you no opportunities to earn any within reason. Stick with a short drama apps or ones that don’t cost as much.

I’ve done the coin wheel about 5 times and guess what I’ve gotten every single time? Maple coins… 200 to be exact every single time. Then when you earn diamonds sometimes you won’t even get them.

Does any Black work at Chapters?
I have been a chapters VIP user for over 3 years. I have spent hundreds of dollars in this game & I am disappointed in the way the Black users are treated by Chapters. The hairstyles for Black characters are abysmal & the way there are barely any stories with 2 Black characters in the cover. It’s clear that making sure all their paying users are represented doesn’t matter but they have no problem taking my money. Not to mention I have run into clearly racist users in my comments who have harassed me with no way to report them for racial harassment. Those users are still on the app. I’m wondering if this app is worth the money I’m spending on it.

Disappointed
They have some great stories on here but my biggest gripe is the animated story Massimo, although he was devilishly sexy, the dialogue was disappointing throughout. Voices mismatched, confusing at times which brother was who. Kiara, Massimo’s arranged wife was slightly annoying with the same facial expressions during intimate scenes (which cut off just when you wanted see more), but she was strong, feisty and a great choice as his wife. I’m not exactly sure why they blurred her cleavage out either when dressed in a chemise, ruined the story and it was frustrating. Kiara’s ex at won stage looked like one of Massimo’s brothers. If you’re going to do a story that grips fans, please do it right. Oh, and consider doing animated stories for the other brothers.

Event still showing but when you click on it, it says it’s over and there’s a counter for 11 hours
I am very upset because I have spent days trying to collect as many diamonds as possible to enter their get the gown game, which says there’s 11 hours left but when I click on the get the gown button, there’s nothing and it says the event is over. So unless somebody wants to put the gown in my closet after all this time and money, I have spent to get the most probability or somebody needs to fix it before the timer runs out. It’s very upsetting. if it was over it should’ve had the counter down yesterday and it shouldn’t be even showing up. when I clicked on it and saw that there was 11 hours left. I assume the game was still going and I continue to try to get diamonds. I need help asap and tech needs to fix this issue or someone does because this is not fair. I tried to get as much diamonds as the game says to win the grand prize and this is what I get. The timer is counting down still for 11 hours and some minutes, but then when you click on it, it says the event is over. That is not fair.
No Ads for play options?

Sloppy writing and too expensive
I gave this app a shot. Bought a pack of diamonds and a week of VIP to see how I’d like it and it was disappointing, to say the least. I had like 800+ diamonds gone within two stories (about 18 completed episodes). Almost every other line of dialogue is a gem choice. If you pay for a special scene with gems, it will then prompt you to spend MORE gems within the same scene to get what the original purchase should have given you anyway. Remarkably greedy, especially in comparison to similar apps. Not to mention the buggy writing I’ve already come across in some of the stories. I played a reality show style story where someone was voted off but still appeared in later scenes. There were scenes where they would reference the wrong character’s name or completely negate information from earlier choices. Also, some of the diamond scenes are completely WORTHLESS. There were diamond scenes i paid for that were like 3-5 lines of dialogue with no special interaction happening at all. So yeah, very disappointing. I tend to spend quite a lot on these sorts of apps when the value is there- unfortunately this one will be getting deleted. The greed is just astonishing.
Why did they change it
I used to love this app, redownloaded it to replay one of my favourite stories (the boy I hate) and they changed what the characters looked like. It was really off putting. I wish there was a way to play with the old characters :(
