Aprovechen la app y abran la posibilidad de denunciar o contactar a los españoles que residimos y estamos en el exterior. Y añadan un boton de emergencia consular y un chat con alguien de exteriores. Es decir, añadan a exteriores y a los consulados y permitan un chat permanente a turistas y españoles residentes en el exterior con consulados y exteriores
Primer fallo
Acabo de instalarme la aplicación y solo en el momento de arrancar la aplicación y en el paso de configurarla al intentar añadir una persona de contacto de mi lista de contactos al seleccionar una persona no deja escoger el teléfono de la persona, como tengo mis contactos con varios teléfonos si son de casa, móvil o de trabajo la aplicaciones elige el que quiere y en estos casos da la casualidad que está cogiendo teléfonos fijos que no me interesan como teléfonos de contacto para esta aplicación. Espero que la aplicaciones elige merezca la pena de forma preventiva pero ya comienza mal…
APP Recomendada en carpeta ciudadana
La he descargado y me parece sencilla y fácil de comprender, me parece una app que protege al ciudadano y su uso claro está es para una emergencia real, lo normal es tenerla de manare preventiva.
Struggling to get validation code on a uk phone
This app sounds like a great idea if it works. I want to use it for an upcoming Spanish holiday. Unfortunately can’t get into it to see how it will help. How do I get support. I’ve sent out a message requesting help but no response yet. Feeling disappointed.
Acceso al menú principal desde menú servicios
Hola. En iPhone XR , versión 18.7.9, cuando accedemos a servicios de Alercops, la app no da opción a volver al menú principal. Gracias
Ubicaciones
Las notificaciones antiguas del servicio “compartir ubicación” salen como si fueran del momento en el que abres la aplicación. Otro problema es que cada vez que la abro me pide que cambie la configuración de la localización, pongo “compartir siempre” y al volver a abrirla me sale el mismo mensaje para que vuelva a hacerlo…

ERROR ACTUALIZACIÓN
Al abrir me pide actualizar la aplicación,me redirige a la AppStore y la aplicación se encuentra ya actualizada,hay un error que deben corregir.

Poor
Out of the 4 times that I have used/ tried to use the app only once did it work as it should. The failures were multiple failures to actually open the app, when called to report an injury road traffic accident although the operator promised that an ambulance and police would attend neither ever appeared and patient was taken to hospital by a private car. Only when the recovery team arrived to remove the vehicle did the police arrive 3,hours after the incident. Another time when call to a robbery at our house with the intruder still on scene we were told to report it to the police station the following day and then cut off! Not impressed.
Mal funcionamiento -> Hoople
La aplicación funciona fatal, te rastrea todo el rato la ubicación y tiene una interfaz obsoleta. He encontrado Hoople que tiene una mucha mejor pinta!
Issue registation Dutch number Nov. 2025
I don't receive a SMS text on my Dutch (+31) phone number although I have only one SIM card in my phone. I have sent an email to the mentioned email address and I'm waiting for their response. The ordering of the country code to register a tlf number is random instead of a numeric sort. Not easy to find one's country code ;) I will write another, hopefully a more positive review, once I have been able to register my Dutch tlf. number. The support and help of this app is very good. When I send two bugs reports both issues: verifing my Dutch tlf. no. and my e-mail account: good job guys!
Cambio de aplicación
Han cambiado la app , lo malo es que no se pueden hacer fotos o vídeos y mandarlas en el momento o bastantes opciones que tenía antes
Errores
Al intentar pulsar sobre ciertos servicios en el mapa, la aplicación se cierra, por favor soluciónenlo lo antes posible!! Ahora llevo ya 15 alertas de que se ha actualizado correctamente, y cuando entro resulta que ni siquiera se ha actualizado!!
Estupenda versión
Me encanta esta nueva versión, súper fácil de usar con muchas funcionalidades y muy intuitiva. Además no gasta apenas batería.

Se cierra sola
Tras la última actualización (ayer) la aplicación se cierra sola, antes de cargar. Al quinto intento, se ha abierto.
La selección de idioma no funciona
La aplicación se bloquea al seleccionar el idioma.

Unable to register
A UK phone number has 10 digits after the +44. If you provide the 10 digits, when the confirmation screen appears the number shown is blank. Supply only 9 digits (an invalid number) then this shows in the confirmation screen. If you try to proceed with 10 digits and a blank number in the confirmation screen then no text arrives. Looks like the confirmation screen and ensuing text process cannot handle a 10 digit number.

Poder enviar avisos silenciosos en caso de emergencia es muy útil. Por mi pequeña experiencia también son muy rápidos respondiendo. (Me cabe solo preguntar si cubre policías locales y autonómicas también)

Estaba mejor antes
Con la versión anterior se podía enviar una emergencia rápidamente indicando el tipo. Ahora es más -innecesariamente- complicado. Y un problema importante: esta nueva versión tiene una actividad excesiva en segundo plano, me deja sin batería en dos días. He restringido el acceso la ubicación a solo cuando se usa. Si aún asi me drena la batería acabaré desinstalándola. Es increíble la cantidad de apps que funcionan bien y cuando sacan una nueva versión es un clamoroso paso atrás. Me parece que va a durar poco.
Debería ser más clara
La primera vez que la descargué me gustaba mucho. Tenía las “casillas” y me resultaba fácil identificar las funciones . Ahora, con la última actualización, no me aclaro con ella. Entiendo que hay que adaptarse a los cambios pero sigo sin entender muchas cosas.

Muy bien hasta la última versión
Todo muy bien con la aplicación, afortunadamente no he tenido que usarla ante un peligro real pero con los simulacros parece que va todo bien. Lo único malo es que en la última (o últimas) versiones consume la batería demasiado rápido, cosa que no pasaba antes, eso te obliga a desactivar ciertas funcionalidades para evitarlo.

Muy liosa. No tengo manera de ver donde están mis protegidas. Ha desaparecido el menú anterior donde elegías a qué protegido querías ver y te mostraba la posición. Ahora aparecían mapa y no sabes donde están. Mejor con sus defectos, la anterior versión.

Cannot get this app to work
I have tried to download this app at least a dozen plus times. I get to register and then I am told that I will receive via sms a verification code but this never happens so the app does not work. I would really like to have this app. Is there another version???
Multiple country code and languages activated
Also foreigner ph numbers are accepted although the selection of the country code is not user friendly. I will test the app when I will arrive in Spain
No validation code for US phone number
I have the same problem as the other review. I put in my phone number and did not receive a validation code. When I try again, I receive a message saying “AlertCops is not working, please contact:…” then the app crashes.
Consumo excesivo de batería
La nueva versión de Alert Cops está haciendo un uso excesivo de la batería. Según el reporte de la batería, Alert Cops ha consumido el 65% de la batería en las últimas 24 horas. Y esto solo en actividad en segundo plano
Accepts passport number
The review stating only DNI is wrong. Change “DNI” to be passport and enter that number. Looks like it could be useful. Let’s hope we don’t need to use it.
English residents with NIE but no DNI cannot register
Could not get past first base as the DNI part of the app enrolment form does not recognise that Extranjeros have a NIE number, not a DNI. Consequently my enrolment not accepted.
No validation code sent, so can’t use app
I am visiting Spain from USA to do a Camino. Wanted to install this app to provide extra security options while in Spain. While setting up the app, it says it is sending a validation code to my USA mobile telephone number, but I haven’t received any codes. Tried resending several times. Still no codes. Therefore I am unable to use the app at all.
Couldn’t activate
No validation code sent to email. Great idea but unsure weather it’ll work. Can you let me know …
