What people like
- Very accurate compared to physical barometers
- Simple and easy to use interface
- Helpful for predicting weather and health issues
- Developer responds quickly to user concerns
What they complain about
- Too many annoying ads interrupt you
- No history graph to track changes over time
- Altimeter readings are often inaccurate or wrong
- Ads sometimes don't stop even after paying
Just a thought
It would be cool if a guy could tell if the pressure has just barely change, it would tell me if it went up or down
Terrible
After using for two weeks, this app had an advertisement that wouldn't go away telling me that my phone had been hacked from visiting adult websites? Give me a break. I have never visited one of these websites and I could not get it to go away. I ended up having to delete the app. Dear app creators, FIND MORE REPUTABLE , RESPECTFUL PARTIES TO SUPPORT YOUR APP OR THAT WHICH YOU SELL MY DATA TO. OR here's a suggestion DON"T !!!
Good Barometer App
This is a good Barometer, I use it to track weather trends, and for fishing mainly. Only reason it’s not a 5 star is I wish there was a 48 hour history graph/chart.
A poor effort
Won’t show sea level pressure, lots of adverts, poor compared to what was previously available for iphone
Payment method for upgrade (Pro - no ads)
Poor business practice to only offer payment option for upgrade through PayPal account and not iTunes Store balance. Seems a questionable practice to offer through the app but circumvent Apple Pay options.
Helps me
Helps me to analyze my pain from arthritis. Not in my head! I can see the barometer drop and can anticipate health problems.
No
Not sure how accurate the barometer is but I know the fishing barometer is no good. The great fishing area moves. It shouldn’t move. It says everyday all the time is great fishing conditions.
Nice but
Great that really like it a few things I would like to have changed one is wind. It doesn’t show your direction to. They should have some have a timer on there showing when the next update is as far as last updated.
Premium no ad purchase
Still have constant annoying unnecessary ads. Shut phone down. Restarted. Ads. Checked all updates. Ads. Switch in app screens to see pressure variations; forced play ads.
No landscape mode on iPad
27/7/26 yet another update today BUT still no landscape orientation on iPad. Makes usage inconvenient when a keyboard case is fitted. This feature would elevate my rating to 5*!! *********************************************** The barometer app I was using has ceased to be supported for the latest iOS versions and has now been removed from the app store. This one works well once calibrated over a few days. Whilst there is a summary of pressure change under the dial it would be nice if it supported the feature of “real” barometers whereby when the dial is tapped the “needle” momentarily swings to show the change in pressure. This was a feature in the previous app I had but not a show stopper. The app also works on an iPad but unfortunately only displays in portrait mode - somewhat inconvenient if using a landscape keyboard stand!
Fugs hord
You want to know the barometric pressure, perfect. Done son. Next…..
Unusable
This doesn’t work anymore, a full screen unkillable add takes it over.
Barometric pressure
Great app. It would be useful to be able to see historic measurements over a short period of time
Fishing conditions chart doesn’t match needle indicator position.
Plain jane barometer that only partially functions. Very tired looking. Wasted potential.
Severe weather monitor
I have a stationary barometer in the house and have checked this app against it several times. This app is always within 0.1” Hg of my old analog meter. I can have this barometer app with me while traveling to keep tabs on the weather.
ads
don't download. way way way too many ads
Quite informative
The app is excellent for local weather and useful for altitude. One major improvement which would make 5 stars is a history reference perhaps a graph or similar so we can check trends. I suffer with arthritis and know what sort of day I can expect if the barometer drops.
Doesn’t work
I dowloaded this app and purchased the upgrade. The needle never moves. I checked the barometric pressure on a separate site and sure enough, it’s not the same. Even if it did work, it doesn’t allow you to change the location so traveling with this app is useless.
Excellent utility
Of utmost utility.
Unhappy
Didn’t work, altimeter was inconsistent.
Bug
I would give this app a 5 star rating but I’m giving it a 4 star because the watch an ad to get 1 hour access of premium doesn’t work correctly. It will show 2 ads then it says reward granted and then I can’t close it out and after restarting the app I don’t get premium access. Great app just that one issue.
Flipper
Does not flip on iPads
Needs memory
This would be an excellent app if it just had a way to see the changes on a graph. I want to be able to see the changes over time.
Simple and accurate
Easy to use and very simple. Great for calibrating barometric pressure and other apps and devices
Not informative at all no matter how hard I try to understand this I cannot
There is a little red arrow, so tiny but doesn’t seem to tell me anything. Is there a green arrow when it goes up? It hasn’t seemed to move -the pressure at all -yet the red arrow remains I don’t get it
Excellent - 1 Request
Excellent app. What I was looking for. Maybe it can show history, I don’t see it. If it had that-absolutely perfect!
Opinia
Aplikacja pokazuje ciśnienie inne niż jest w rzeczywistości
Great app but…
Great app. Does not format correctly for a standard size iPhone 16 in the data, pressure change section
Just what I wanted
Like it so much I bought the premium version. Thank You
Insane ads
The ridiculous amount of ads on this app are as bad or worse than most android apps. No thanks!
Great Barometer-but needs user adjustment for the altitude
I love app. It helps to predict my migraines dues to pressure changes. PRO’s - 5🌟+ Very accurate barometer 5🌟 + Allows user to adjust initial readings to their Local real time values. CON’s - -0.3 provide a Historical Record Barometric values and display as a graphic and value-Date list — .7 There is No way to adjust the baseline Altitude initial readings.
Ok
It does what it claims to do. It’s not helpful for my use case as I want to track data over time. This just gives the current reading. Unfair to ding it for not having features the developer clearly doesn’t care about. That’s fair. The ads, however, are the most annoying imaginable. Give me 10 minutes on launch to explore the app before you inundate me with obnoxious ads. I get you want people to buy your app. And I appreciate that you don’t make me pay before checking it out. But there’s no way I’m buying this if you constantly barrage me with ads. Even if I liked the app I’d look elsewhere. Please just give me 10 minutes to play around. Better yet a couple of days. Without having to sign up. If I like it, I’ll buy it. I want apps that I like to be successful
The best barometer app?
A very good barometer app and so far the best one I have been using. I haven’t found a reason not to give it five stars it’s responsive and has very good features such as remembering the readings if you choose it to. I say good job to its developers. And Thanks
Great app, works as advertised.
Happily paid for the upgrade. But only one star because it doesn’t respect the “don’t beg for reviews” setting in the App Store.
Requires Fitness Tracked to be Enabled
Since the last update, this app requires the fitness tracker feature to be enabled on your iPhone; to see the barometric pressure anyway.
Simple
Easy to use with no bells and whistles, just the basics.
Too many adds.
When you first open it up, you have too many adds. You can’t even see how it is supposed to work. Not impressed.
Dato 4 stelle
Preciso su pressione, meno su vento e temperatura
Ad removal doesn’t happen!
Good little app… worth paying to remove ads… trouble is ads don’t get removed. Have requested a refund.
Developer is very responsive
I recently posted a 3-star review of this app. The developer responded with a request for more details. I replied and they responded rapidly. It was then that I discovered that I was actually using another app with a very similar app name. Since I couldn’t delete this review, I have updated it to 5 stars to reflect their responsiveness to my concern.
ads
just ads
Mr
Very useful
Accuracy?
I live next to the sea but the altimeter is reading -59 feet (-18 metres)
