What people like
- Simple interface makes it easy to write daily
- Password lock keeps your private thoughts safe from others
- No ads interrupt your writing experience at all
- Quick timestamp feature helps track when you wrote things
What they complain about
- Forgot password means you are locked out forever
- Dark mode and Face ID cost extra money
- Syncing between iPhone and iPad does not work well
- Accidentally deleting entries leaves no way to recover them
Love it
It’s very easy to navigate, and I like the font!!
No manual or guide
I have no idea how to work this thing. There’s not even the slightest attempt to guide the user in how it works. Surely anyone who had gone to the trouble to create this app would be proud of it, and want to tell everybody how it works. But this person obviously isn’t proud of what they’ve done. I don’t trust it.
Its okay but it needs improvement
Theres 4 things i dont like and atleast 1 thing i like, first i like how its easy to just type its pretty nice I hate how the dark mode is behind a paywall it makes me mad because I'm use to dark mode. I hate how if u just tap on a day of the week it just brings u straight there not asking if u wanna go if u dont type anything and go out of it, it stays its annoying The password is easy to set but i kind of hate how if i leave the app open but go out of it i have to reput my password in Also the password thingy is easy but i wanna type it not just scroll.. 4 stars because it works
KEEPS accidentally deleting my entries
It is so easy to just accidentally delete your whole entry, and i like to write a loottttt, but that doesnt matter when there is literally no way to get it back and you just deleted your whole entry. I need a app that ensures my journal entries stay and are safe
I forgot my password, please
ok so I got this app 4 years ago and it is great and I would write in it from time to time. However… I forgot the password and idk what to do. I really wanna look back on my entries. Please help…
Simple
Easy to use, I tried to use the night-mode but you have to pay for it. Besides that, giving it a A rating.
?????
It’s not letting me set a password, instead it takes me right to my diary
Love
I LOVE this thing, BUT you have to PAY for some stuff but I get it, but it’s still really good
no password recovery??
I love this app for what it is but once I forgot my password to get in because it’s been a while and there’s literally nothing you can do to get back in if you don’t know it. If you guess too many times it just locks you out. I can’t believe there’s no feature to ask you a secret question or to send something to your email. Anything. It’s so stupid.
It’s fine…
I just got the app and it’s fine but simple stuff like dark mode is locked behind a paywall and they keep asking for a review so…
Everything you could ever need!
I’ve been using this app for a few days now and it’s everything you could ever want & need for a digital journal! Minimalistic and calm, love the app so far!!! :)
It exists.
This app possesses the bare minimum of diary app functionality: it's a diary with a password. There is no formatting or customization, and the free font selection is extremely limited. In my case, yeah, hard pass. The wording on the buttons and messages within the app is very weird (recall the foreign developer). The interface, too, is odd—annoyingly so. But if you want a really boring-looking app and you don’t care what the buttons look like, go ahead.
Locked Out
I used to write a whole lot into my diary, and I loved the simplistic design and lock. After a while though I forgot the passcode, now I have no way of getting any of what I wrote back! I would appreciate it if the team could contact me on how to fix this/reset passcode.
It’s good
I wish it was free to export to iCloud
feature
i like this app. it’s very simplistic which is what i look for. i just wish you could do multiple entries in one day. instead of putting them all in one note
No synching capability
Downloaded this for the iPhone then for the iPad but the two don’t talk to one another which means I can’t only use it on one of them - pointless! The developer has responded that I can use the cloud backup option, but I’d have to pay £12.99 for that facility, which is not an attractive option. I already have cloud storage, so don’t see why I can’t use that to back it up…
I really like it BUT
I’m enjoying the app. I really serves its purpose but Id like to copy text from it and cannot find out how or how to even contact support. Very frustrating.
Awesome
Idk why but it’s just so cool

Love it
The app has really helped me with my goal of writing my feelings every day it helps even more that it has a password so I can write my feelings away without fear of someone finding what I write, honestly o love that it is simple and easy to use. So far love this app.
Meh
It fine at best😃 🍛
Bible study
This app has helped me keep track of my late night thoughts and ideas for my Bible studies. This app has helped me remember stuff that I won’t remember in the morning and this app has reminded me oh hey, you said this on this day this is why this app is a five out of five.
One thing I dislike
The app is great just I can’t do my password and just write your life in one singular day?!?!
It’s good
I find this app to be clean and simple in what it offers. There is not a lot of extra “bells and whistles“ which I like. I’m not certain I want to spend the yearly fee for the extras
Love it
Been using his diary for a few years now and I love it. I never forget to write an entry. I love how I can customize it to my style. And that it has a lock so no one can see my thoughts. It would be greater if you could post pictures or videos of your day.
Password
I forgot my password now I can’t get into the app at all. No way to reset the password either.
Good
I like to this app you can put on a password for privacy it’s good it’s
Incomplete App
Great app. Great UI. But a simple “Forgot Password” functionality would have been nice. Been reading about users who have forgotten their password in earlier reviews as well.
Nice
Good
Love this app, one issue
I love this app and it has helped me with a bunch of things like keeping track of my dreams, habits, and health when i forget things very easily, i especially love being able to add a timestamp with just one button My only issue is that i cant add pictures to my diary entries, i think it could improve the app alot even though its practically perfect Also i dont usually write reviews but the fact it is add free and clearly cares about its users is really heart warming
Started off ok
I downloaded the app and started a fresh on the 1st of January 2026. Nice app all going fine until on the 28th January the app moved all my entries back one day, not sure why. So basically it’s all out of sync now. Think twice or you may have to edit your whole diary. Be interested in what the developer has to say about it.
Pretty good
Honestly it’s a pretty good app, I like how easy it is to write. An addition they should add though is being able to like, time your entries. So if you do two in one day but at different times, it automatically puts the time you wrote it. Just an opinion though. Other than that it’s amazing!
Forgot password
Is there a way to recover password if forgotten?
I love it
It really gets my mind off things it’s a really good app I really recommend it then u can go back and review what u said and change it if u made an error
No way to delete account
Annoying
Amazing
It’s amazing but can you make the app look more organized if you can?
Password recovery
I forgot my password and I couldnt find a way to retrieve it.
Expensive
Basic features like Face ID and Dark mode are paid. Very disappointing!
Great for feelings
I love how you can have a password and when I don’t have therapy I go to this app and it is the best so if you see this you should 100% get this app
Forgot password
Please help me get me my notes. I forgot the password and it’s locked forever. Help me out this one time!
Forgot password???
I forgot my password and would like to reset it. Help???
Use app across all iOS devices
Would have been better if the app was available across all ios devices
