Smooth & Convenient
The app provided a smooth and convenient way to find movie, check showtimes, select seats, and book tickets. The interface is simple and easy to navigate, making the overall booking process quick and hassle-free.
Charged twice
Charged twice but one booking and a free bank offer. No response as usual. Poor app experience too not the easiest, apps are meant to be smooth not with a web frame inside.
Apple pay missing
Do what it’s supposed to do. Overall good app, possibility to add the tickets in the Wallet but why can we use Apple Pay?
Fake reviews
I can see that Roxy is encouraging fake positive reviews and removal of negative comments on its new app. Very disappointing, instead of simply listening to its customers and bring back the Roxy we used to love.

Great atmosphere, comfortable seating, and an excellent overall movie experience. The staff were friendly and everything was well organized. Highly recommended for a perfect cinema experience!
The old up was better
The app is really bad, you can’t log in, can’t log out, It let me book a ticket twice and getting that sorted was a nightmare. Extremely bad app. I even switched to other chain cinemas for just how I hate this app

2/5 Stars The Roxy Cinemas app has some basic functionality, but there are two major issues that significantly impact the customer experience. First, loyalty points cannot be redeemed directly within the app or even the website. Customers can accumulate points, but when it comes time to use them, the process is far from seamless. In 2026, a cinema loyalty program should allow members to redeem points easily through the app during checkout. Second, the app frequently logs users out for no apparent reason. Having to repeatedly sign back in is frustrating and unnecessary, especially when trying to book tickets quickly. What’s particularly disappointing is that competing cinema apps have already solved these issues. The VOX Cinemas app allows customers to redeem accumulated points directly as a payment method and even use them for food, beverages, and other services. If VOX can provide this level of convenience, it’s difficult to understand why Roxy still doesn’t offer similar functionality. The cinema experience itself may be excellent, but the app feels outdated and lacks features that customers now expect as standard. I hope Roxy invests in improving the app because it currently falls behind its competitors in terms of usability and customer convenience.

It’s keeps crashing, not user friendly, can’t buy tickets using our loyalty card points (as a Roxy platinum), no offers/deals from many major banks or else, can’t buy food through it & apply our discounts as loyal members … basically many things needs to be improved to reach the basics of customer satisfaction ( especially as loyal members).

Unfriendly team and racism
I booked a platinum ticket Dubai Hills and they were not able to provide me the luxury service I expected and taken other people order who comes after me even I walked to ask for someone to take my order they were still talking others order 👎🏻 I visited them again no improvement Still slow on getting food inside the platinum show even only two people were inside Telling the team seemed don’t care about it
The app is so bad
The older version of the app worked well and since the upgrade it’s been awful. It’s not user friendly and fails almost every time I try to log in. My platinum status disappears at every log in. I won’t book another ticket through the app because it’s broken

I really love the new Roxy Cinema app! As a housewife, I often plan family movie outings, and the old app used to be very difficult to use. I couldn’t see the timings properly, booking was a struggle, and there were no easy payment options. This new app is such a big improvement—so smooth, easy, and clear. The design looks very elegant with the black and gold theme, and booking tickets is now quick and stress-free. I especially appreciate how everything is organized and user-friendly. Simply horrible
The smallest issue with the app is that it is very slow, but it is unreliable. Functions not working, loyalty points not adding etc. 5 years ago it migh have been a nice to have tool, but expectations are much higher now, and the app couldn’t catch up with them.
Was 4 star - Not anymore
Since the recent update the app hasn’t been working at all well - very frustrating that I seem to have lost my points and can’t use ApplePay anymore. Customer service said to try again in 45mins…guess what it still isn’t working 😡
Amazing experience
I experience all types of cinemas and the new update is mind-blowing the animation and design are fantastic and user-friendly.
Cannot login via apple
Cannot login via Sign in with Apple. I have already informed your tech support. Still not fixed with this update. The app is UNUSABLE!!!!!!!
You have to seriously work on this app
The user exp is very bad. The app crashes a lot, not loading even first page, then cannot select the preferred cinema centre. The bank offer and other payment stuff steps should come after or during the seat selection process. Couple of time, payment page didn’t work and had to go back. So some serious flaws. You don’t have to reinvent the wheel, just copy from other guys.thnx
