What people like
- Great for checking card values quickly.
- Best place to buy single trading cards.
- Scanner is top tier if used correctly.
What they complain about
- Keeps kicking you out of your login.
- Card scanner barely works or is too slow.
- Feels like a clunky website, not a real app.
- No wishlist feature to track cards generally.
Very useful for organizing my cards
This app was very accurate for picking and organizing was so mush easier then every app I have used
App sucks
The app doesn’t keep you logged in. Even after telling it to remember who you are. It regularly kicks items out of your cart because it can’t find an optimized solution. The optimizer continually makes there be more packages at a greater cost. Trash. I would order from Card Kingdom or Channel Fireball before using this again
Session Issues
I’ve bought many cards off this app and it does its job. I can find the card, the specific version of it, and choose between many vendors. The reason I give this app a 4 star rating is because of the mobile session timeouts. It uses the desktop site to log in rather than using modern sign-in technology for phone apps, so you must sign in without a passkey very often when you want to buy a card. The user passkey/session time and login process would make the user experience much better (developers please fix this!).
Clunky and unpolished
Love the site, use it often, but the app is clunky and unpolished. It seems like it’s opened a web browser within the app based on how some of the back buttons work. I have to log in every time even when I’ve asked it to remember me, and when I try to log in, sometimes it just plain errors and I need to refresh the page. Really feels like this could and should be a lot smoother to use.
Scan
The scan feature could be a lot nicer using a higher quality screen capture It would be nice if the app was more customizable
Good
Good
Worst app
Has to be one of the worst apps for tcg. Have to resign in constantly though I have the keep signed in checked. Having it go into a website type of browser in the app is about the stupidest design someone could’ve possibly thought up. Whoever is in charge of their bug fixes needs a new line of work.
great app for looking through cards
i just wish the interface was more functional. i get forced to enter my login info every time i try opening my order history despite having selected “don’t ask me again” and i wish i could have a more coherent wishlist without adding a specific seller’s card to my list so it’ll stay there even if that card is sold. like if i want birthday pikachu i want there to be a “like” feature so i can keep tabs on that card in a general sense, not just user XYZ’s copy of the card.
It’s just kind of bad
The card scanning barely works. I tried for 20 minutes to try to scan a single card and nothing happened. It also doesn’t have the TCG I was looking for (mda) but I guess if you just wanna card scanning app that can’t scan cards this is perfect for you
Needs updates
Add biometric login and simplify the searches(have to be exact is kind of annoying) add a watchlist tab for cards you select
Great app
This app is very helpful with buying and selling only issue is I wish the card scanner was a little quicker
Constantly have to sign back in
What is the point of a “Don’t ask me on this device again” when signing in if it doesn’t work. Ive used this app for almost a year hoping it would eventually stop but by got i have to sign in every dang time and its so annoying. It’s the most basic feature.
Good App, but can be finicky at times
I love the app because it's an convenient shopping experience, but it can be clunky at times. For instance, while you're shopping for single cards, and you choose a card to look into more, when you press the back button it will take you all the way back to page one. Also, for me personally, the option to stay signed in, for a longer length of time, would be amazing.
Sub par for free members
Shipments rarely make it without tracking which you don’t get the option to have on your package unless you give the company 8 bucks a month. So only 65% of the cards I’ve ordered have arrived eBay’s prices are way higher but it’s got tracking so I prefer to shop there. I only use this for playsets and specific singles I don’t see out at locals. Best of luck to you if you read this just cross your fingers and hope your cards make it.
Interface
For whatever reason, the interface is all stupid now like the screen doesn’t fit my phone I have to make it bigger make adjustments opposed to just working as it should
Good app
This app is very easy to use and they help u to the maximum ability.
Awful App
TCG asked me to review their awful app. I hate using it, but I do since it is the cheapest way to buy singles that I know of and I have a deck building problem. The app crashes frequently causing me to lose my cart often. It asks if you’d like to save your login information; this is a lie. The app is like an etchisketch you shake as soon as you leave it. If you add stuff to your cart while not logged in, consider that cart gone if you leave the page. The search function is clunky and the sorting is awful. Shipping from TCG direct takes way longer than it should, especially since I am in the same state as their distro, so I deliberately do not use TCG direct, and thankfully the one good thing about the app is their cart optimizer which I use to optimize them away from me. Ironic, really.
Lala
I leave 4 for 1 to grow on
It’s mid
Mid app, while has great content and shopping portal, it frequently requires you to login which gets annoying. There is no option for creating a watchlist or wishlist. Little details like this make or break the end user experience.
Constant logins
Scanning cards works well, shopping, optimizing cart, nice features. But this app makes me login again constantly! There is a box to check to remember this device, does nothing. Want to check order history, login again, check messages, login again, buy something, login again. Sometimes it just logs me out at random. Then the best part is it asks for a code sent to your email. But it just never sends the code. Sometimes closing and reopening the app just gets around this. But its extremely frustrating. If the app actually kept me logged in that would be great.
So good
This app has finally be able easily to see how much my cards are worth. Keep track with my cards I really recommend this app because how easy fast and simple it is
Constantly asking for review
Would give 5 stars, but since this app asks you to give a review every 30 seconds, one star it is! 🫡
Good store but interface is clunky.
Could use things like filtering based on price of cards for example.
Buggy, not useful
Two major things. When applying filters, the app constantly says that it's having issues and can't show the information. Secondly, even when you're already signed in on the app, doing ANYTHING requires signing in again. This one is even more annoying. I'm already signed in.. on the app. On my phone. And then need to sign in AGAIN and give a verification code? Not even banking apps do this.
Scanning
The scanning part of this app does not work I have a lot of trouble scanning any card.
Tuff
Dah biiih gahhh
Support issues
Trying to get into contact with the support team seems almost impossible now. You can get auto replied the same thing every time you send the same message or you can try the chat bot who will ask you to sign in again once it realizes it can’t help you.
Tcg player
It is helpful but just a bit slow
Cannot Use
It is very literally not usable for me, sadly. The scan function utilizes specifically i think the zoom camera or something like that, which is damaged on my phone. It would be very nice to have an option to change the camera settings or maybe upload an image.
Scanner
The scanner will not scan any of the cards. The app is great for pricing out cards and buying cards.
Why is there not an option on the shop tab to add to the collection?
So I have to research the cards on the shop tab but I can’t add them to “collection”. I have to copy and paste to the collection search feature, which doesn’t have a filter option. Needs a wish list feature or an “add to collection” feature from the shopping tab.
Garbage Scanning
Horrible app for scanning your cards, it won’t work even out of the sleeve it can’t read it. Get it right guys, stop being so lazy in your coding.
It’s actually a really good Card Scanner! But…
This Card Scanner is actually one of the best out there! As long as you SCAN on a PLAIN surface (Black or White - I found white to be best) the app will work absolutely fine, also make sure your Scanner Verification Level is on at least 3 (find in the settings) for the best results. I have used this app to successfully scan over 2000+ MTG cards with only 3 or 4 not scanning. You can also create lists to filter your cards into different categories (e.g. Blue creatures/Black Sorcery’s/Artifact Creatures/Red Instants/Multiple Colour Cards etc). The only downsides I have found so far are as follows: - The scanner will scan random objects if not pointed directly at the card and will mistake said object for an expensive card (can be irritating but not a massive problem). - The pricing of scanned card will show ONLY in $, NOT £ or € or other currencies, I haven’t found anything in the settings so far to change this, so if the APP DEVELOPERS could add such a function this app would be 5 stars from me. (P.S. if I am wrong and there is a function that can be pointed out to me for this issue, I will redact this point). So, all in all, if your in the market for a good Trading Card Scanner, I’d very much recommend this one.
Fix sign in issue
Why have a stay signed in and dont ask again option if everytime i open the app it makes me sign in manually every single time its annoying pls fix
I don’t know what the title should say
I only give this app three stars because I like the fact that you can scan your cards and they tell you how much it’s worth, but the scanner is horrible. I laid it down on my table and it was scanning everything but the card that was in the little square. I think it might’ve been because I was shaking a bit, but then I put it on something so it wouldn’t shake, but I was only able to get three cards done in the span of a 20 minutes
Great place to buy TCG cards
This is the best website to buy your favorite TCG cards. They stand by their products and keep customers happy.
Hate this app
Super frustrating can’t and won’t scan my card hate that I have to half it would be better if I could just take a picture of it would be faster just sucks all around
Camera ID
Great for pricing cards fast just a bit off sometimes due to stocks or other factors
Useful until you’re logged out. Every time.
Ugh.
It scans MTG Pokemon and YuGiOh cards but not Digimon cards
I like this app that it can scan my MTG cards. But it doesn’t work with Digimon cards. Can you update the app to scan Digimon cards too? In the app it lists the MTG Pokemon and YuGiOh cards. But not the Digimon cards. Which what I hoping it would do but it doesn’t work with those. Can you update the app to scan Digimon cards too?
Love the app
Love the app can’t wait til being able to be a seller is opened back up..
App literally just doesn’t work
Trying to log in just bricks the app completely. Re installed multiple times. Scanner has always been terrible also
Love the app
I love the app so far, sometimes it doesn’t want to scan foil or black yugioh cards but manually entering them isn’t a problem, the only thing I don’t like about the app is that I can’t sell cards in Canada, otherwise it’s great, 5 stars once they add the ability for Canadian sales
Why can’t I STAY signed in!?
The only reason I got this app was so I wouldn’t have to keep signing in every five minutes on the website. THIS APP MAKES ME SIGN IN EVERY FIVE MINUTES TOO. Plus it’s practically identical to using the website. Genuinely no idea why this app exists.
Landscape
Landscape on the Ipad would be very nice.
Good service
But we should do something about this shipping
Over all use
Used to love this app but now it’s difficult to use the app. Never saves your profile and adding cards to your collection is inconvenient and you can’t filter to just scan a certain brand of card and have to filter through every card and I use it less now that they no longer purchase cards from you and get store credit
Canada
Add Canada to sell but the rest is good
It doesn’t work
This app won’t scan my cards so I went to the help site for it followed every thing and it still doesn’t work and now it’s so annoying
Good but could be better
This works so well but you could add a scan confirm option to make sure it’s the correct card. Also PLEASE let us sync collection with our website collection.
